Not really. Craig just isn't great at standup. He's a much better interviewer. You know a guy isn't that great when people like you are in the comments 'defending' him. If he was funny the comment section would be repeating the jokes.

That probably was the most balanced performance I've seen. These are make or break moments in a persons life. I think he took the right risks and it solidified his position.

Craig is remarkable! Among his many, many other gifts and talents, he knows how to throw down the hard to accept truth in a fashion that even makes those he's addressing laugh about it. And he knows more about what's happening in America than most politicians ever will!

i watch this when i get depressed about how our country is heading. so completely un bipartisan. Thank you Craig tho it was 2008, 12 years later, i wished that you can travel the country to solve crimes and put your truth out there. This was raw and revealing and wish there were more like you.
I've watched several of these correspondent dinners, and I believe Craig has had one of the better responses. I'm not surprised. He's such an engaging and sincere person, why his show was on for 10 years.

Man, Craig, observing our nation as a new comer, had more insight than any Correspondent's Dinner entertainer I have seen yet. This was great fun. Chuckle fun, not quite Jimmy Kimmel's humor, but he made some great jabs and it all felt in fun.

I love Craig, but this is not his crowd. He likes to connect with the people, get a little raunchy and goofy. This crowd is distant and uptight. Not a good match. Craig and Dave were the only late night guys I watched, thus I don't watch late night any more. Now it's all so watered down and boring. I miss Craig and Dave. Both really shook things up.
