I love it when you say that you're just gonna watch one vulfsterpiece, and then you end up going through the whole playlist.
I'm there right now
Every friggin time🎼
Indeed.
Hahaha I just made a playlist called "vulfsterpiece" and now I see your comment ,love that
whole "pecklist"
I walked while listening to this song, and still remember the walk thanks to it
I guess you could call that a w
Oddly enough, I remember your walk as well. It must be a very powerful song.
Short walk

Jack is a genius to have gotten Vulfpeck together. These guys belong together...
He is the Steve Jobs of music, on a smaller scale. No one can dispute his business genius. His compositions are of course, funky as hell, but he is so so on point with everything he does businesswise (sleepify, recording the whole band live on youtube, SELLING OUT MSG WITHOUT A LABEL for christ's sake) he can't be anything short of genius.
Starting to realize that Woody is my favorite Vulf composer
Me seeing Joe Dart without sunglasses is like a child seeing their dad without a beard for the first time
Yeahh after you get past 22 the shades become permanent
That's pretty accurate having experienced both of these things
everytime I hear the vulfpeck intro bit......I smile!
Its the best
Thats because u know where it came from.
I get that... "Air. I forgot that I can breathe!" feeling 🙂
The bass player deserves a Nobel Prize. The whole band in fact. I discovered you one hour ago. Now I'm late and grubby, my room is a mess but I don't really care : I'm happy !
Thank you all !
Dude no joke this will happen every time you sit down to watch "just one" Vulfpeck video
hahahahaha
just one after the former 37.. I promise. it's the last then I go to bed... wait, what's that in youtube recommendations?, a new track I never listened to... [continue]
I felt the same when I saw the first video, and the second... I saw every single one in a morning...
My laundry is drying in the washing machine while I'm watching this over and over...
This song could end wars
Lyrics:
ahhhhh
(extreme funk instrumental)
AHHHHHH
(more funk)
James Brown style
No credit for Vox...was that Jack or Theo?
@@buttecreekwoody7615 first one sounds like theo
@@hadiffnazhan862 i think it's jack, he moves his mouth right when it happens, and then he says "come on," reacting to joe's fill (which i understand because it's beautiful)
yo missed the "c'mon" arround 02:05
Still one of their very best. Iconic Joey solo, sick rhodes verse/outro from Woody, one of Jack's most energetic and nuanced grooves, Theo filling out with that church percussion.
Amazing song, reminds me of Dark Side era Floyd (last part) mixed with Cannonball Adderley (first part with the 13 chords).
Lets go Vulf, Lets Go Mets
How could you not mention the incredible bass part?
What a marriage.
I wish they play this song live more
@@Bucket-dx3ju ..cuz at this point Joe Dart kinda goes without saying, know what I’m saying?
The soul in that sax is un-freakin-believable
;)
I love the lean forward as you squeak out that high note.
excellent performance brother!
edit: a great job on the mix and master as well. really makes the whole thing shine
That sax is truly sensational...just perfect
the sax at the end of this track is like the last kiss from a lover you wont see for a while. so intimate and bittersweet and full of love. my heart is melting.
the comments section of every vulf video is where i want to make my home. its so intelligent and funny and warm and just nice. remember when the rest of youtube was like this?
you seem like you enjoy the smell of your own farts.
Miguelitsss you don’t? I always see the glass as half full (of my farts)
RUclips has never been a nice place a part from some niches, as this one is
I remember when youtube was more like this but I think we just thought it was more like this cause we were kids maybe?
Couldn't agree more dude! Love the music community this band makes!
You guys play music they way I've felt it.
This^
That resonates with something deep inside my soul.
this
This.
Woody GOSS what a composer
Scrolling through old Vulf videos…I would love to go back and sit in on an old 2013 session
I think this is one of my favourite Vulf tracks, and my favourite Joey sax blessing
Making music real again, geniuses of our generation: Stratton/Dart/Goss/Katzman et all
Don't forget Dosik and even Antwaun
@@quinndavis3955 definitely Antwaun
You forgot to mention the amazing Cory Wong
they fell into a soul hole and came came out coated with funk fifty-thousand years old
ridiculously good music right here
Listening to their song's is a sweet time, but seeing them play is a total expirience, my fab-band for the moment and endless time to come.
This song leaks utter, molten happiness.
It's so refreshing to see a comment section of a good song that's not filled with "THIS IS GOOD MUSIC, THE 7 DISLIKES ARE JUSTIN BIEBER FANS. I AM AN EDGY PERSON". Just a lot of people saying how much they enjoy this. You guys are awesome.
THE best and most forward thinking band around at the time. such a groove, so full of soul and insanely good live! Vulf love!
If these guys sell vinyl, I will go out and get a record player just to listen to them on vinyl. it only feels right.
+Dan Davis did you?
surely it's got to be tape
They do. Only digital & vinyl.
Your copy of Vollmilch might cost just as much as your audiotechnica
Currently on repress
The drums are so damn tight
This makes me want to dance. And I don't dance. Thank you.
4:19 Dosik has to keep his soul from escaping
the spirit of the Meters somehow being channelled by these peach-colored fellows; hot damn
For my money, this is the finest Vulf.
you could be right.
Most soulful saxophone solo I have ever been blessed to hear
Guys, I'm addicted to vulfpeck! So many talented people ! Congratulations!
Not sure why but when I heard this on digital radio, the background shouting voices reminded me of something from Ol Skool Sesame Street!! The band has such a 70s classic sound that their music takes me back to my childhood.
I really like the feel of older Vulfpeck. They have a different vibe now
This and the beautiful game were their peak. I love vulf, not hating, just being honest
Same. Can't get into anything since Mr. Finish Line.
I've watched all of your videos, but I thought I'd just say it's great to see a bassist dancing. Too often do I watch bassists just standing there. This guy knows what's up.
Joe Dart, I can't wait to see you and your amazing band play live and take in their energy
I keep coming back to this song. Definitely my favorite
Mr. Dart you've walked that bassline directly into my heart my man!
The latter half of this song is my favourite kind of mood.
Joey warms my heart with that saxophone
I’m binge hearing all their music, it’s amazing! The beats the funky sounds all combine to make such a satisfying rhythm. I’m in love with this band!! I know I’m years late.
so do I
every song by these guys is amazing, even the weird ones like "cars too"
The way he makes the sax cry at 4:18 just hits you
Been listening to you guys for 2 years now, and this stuff continues to amaze. Really appreciate the level of passion you guys put into yer music. Love from the East Coast of Canada.
THE BEST OF THE BEST. These are the words of the popstars.🎶🎵
Honestly this might be Joe's finest hour
Came here to say I remember watching this this video for the first time almost ten years ago and y’all changed my life for the better ever since then. Thank you for making my soul smile for the last ten years ❤
I can't stop listening to these guys, they've inspired me. MEGA GOOD :D
loved the saxophone music at the end... these guys rock...
The second, tranquil phase of this track is just - bliss. It enriches my life and makes me feel something indescribable in language.
Help. I can’t stop watching Vulf videos.
Joe just emanates happiness when he plays his bass!
I listen to metal, jazz, reggae, blues but this funk just makes me feel good! Ha Ha ! They enjoy making the music and it just bleeds through! A gift for all!
i still know how to walk, all thanks to this song!
So much respect for this band...keep making that bass talk, Joe
0:16
the sound I make when the groove is too damn funky
Just got back from the Schvitz concert in Brooklyn and they played this song! Was amazing to see them play something from Vollmilch over a decade since it came out. Easily the most criminally underrated Vulf album
Oh cool, I didn't think they did any of the old stuff beyond the standard hits like 1612/WFTM/IGF
Oh that gated spring verb on snare, yessss.....
They can all play so many instruments I love it
this is the best saxophonesolo i ever heard. honestly this made me feel different.
Joe Dart is 12 years old in this video. He's still killing it but holy crap do I feel old.
Just discovered vulfpeck, good lord
Welcome
I’m just discovering you guys in 2023 and this one is my favorite so far!! I love them all but this one is so catchy ❤️
Welcome to Vulf my friend 🎉
this is my favorite vulf track everything about it is sublime
This is a true masterpiece. Every fucking note is in the right place.
Wow! What a bassist .. Bang on the bump!!
Amazing. I love the sound you make. All of them.
This is the song that's always played through my mind whenever I'm feeling good, even before I knew the song. That vibe is insane.
2:02 tfw when that bass/drums combination is too much for your feeble mind but you love it anyway
This video looks like someone is filming a computer with a phone, and I love it.
Oh baby that reverb at 3:00 is ungodly beautiful
I feel like I'm looking at a high school yearbook. Great from the start you guys are the best.
Love your 70's TV retro sound. More please of this :)
The whole song is f*** perfect. The last 1:30 minutes...majestic...
MUzikal deities!!!! More dancing plese! You have changed the world of Jazz-funkn n lalaaaaaa! Shamans of positive vibrationz!!!! xxx I discovered you about 2 months ago! Ineffable!!!!!
I can barely stand how much I love this!
What got me is that this tuning is covering all the spectrum of waves that wa can hear. I'm going to clean my ears and relisten.
Do they call it "A walk to remember" because if these guys ever played this while I was walking I would randomly start dancing akwardly? because hot damn this song makes me tap my ingrown, inbred purple foot I tell ya w'hut
cryen at that last bit there.
Luminary Rook yeah, but damn the second part of this songs makes me wanna cry
Nobody talks about that mega gated reverb on the snare... And that sax... And that bass
Man these guys know how to creep into every part of your head and give it the exact tune it needs to hear
The most beautiful thing about this is that black people started funk music, and now these guys are making it again. We must all dance together, fuck colour or race.
Jackson 10! can´t stop listening to this band.
Just when I thought I had listened to all their discography, I discover this piece. So late... but so glad to have found it.
It doesn't happen to me often but once in a while I hear a tune that I just can't stop listening to, I've listen to this track over 20 times (Not in a row) and it's still fresh to death!
you guys are gonna be BIG someday. i swear this is absolutely amazing. MUSIC GOLD
12 seconds in and I have a big ol' smile on my face
a relaxing walk with kind of supernatural experiences:-) I love your spirit!!🥰
I just discovered this band, can’t stop listening! So groovy!
Had a real s..t day, but this little walk with you cleared my head and now its all behind me. Need to remember this walk. Kind of s.i. day therapy. Thx guys.
6 years and this is the first time ive noticed theo playing that mini tambo
I just wanna be in the room.
This is just hands down awesome. Nuff said.
VULFPECK makes you happy
not a bad vibe ever! so good sooooo happy! thanks!
Jack's face at the end... he knew they just did something special
This song makes me cry 😭😭 it's such a treat to be let in on such a performance
Oh my. So emotion. So power.
currently dancing on the toilet whilst having explosive diarrhea. couldn't be happier!
I think I might have to acknowledge you guys in my master’s thesis since you’ve been part of my writing soundtrack for months! Thanks for keeping me sane!
Beautiful!
ayyy I found a same model bass in my church closet and got it for free
neeevans lol sounds like ya stole it. put it to good use!
Finders keepers
neeevans was it in the bassment? 👀
It's a Robelli right?
Keep them coming, this is awesome music all around guys.
