Man, it's awesome to see Sreten is getting some great support from all these different places. The machine shop is just an incredible place, and the guys were genuinely happy to help out. This is only the beginning of great series!
I definitely can not recommend H2Motors. I had my worst experience with this workshop: disorganized, incompetent, customer unfriendly and arrogant to boot! Timing not set correctly during engine overhaul and unable to detect the fault in two weeks. After that, H2M threatened me with legal action via lawyer that I am not allowed to claim this anymore. Mr. Huber, you and your store have remained in my very worst memory! I have never experienced any thing like that before!
H2 Motors workshop is like a nirvana for BMW enthusiasts.. I cannot *believe* the amount of stock they have in terms of motors, etc. Truly incredible. Their combined knowledge must be enormous. Your E92 M3 is shaping up to be really, really special Sreten.. can't wait to see it all come together :-)
Many “copy cat” RUclips channels have appeared over past 24 months. Sreten’s video production, audio editing, and concise (informative) narration is superior to those other channels. He consistently stays “on topic” with few tangents. He admits mistakes and accurately describes “sourcing” issues unresolved in automotive parts industry. Cheap sourcing from Eastern Asia (especially mainland China), just produces cheap, poor quality copies.
There ain't nothing better than sitting in your bed after a long day and watching Sreten work on his broken BMW's while throwing some jokes! Just immaculate work, attention to detail and classy oem taste🔥
It is really nice to see there are still shops in Germany that are run by a passionate person! It really looks like they love and know what they are doing at H2 Motors!!

i will keep this short. there is NOT a better BMW channel out there than this one. the content is unmatched and production / editing is like a "discovery tv" production and all done by 1 one guy amazing. well done Sreten
My one and only Patreon subscription, and it's worth it so much. We really feel the gain of experience compared to the videos on the H1 engine, thank you for sharing your experiences Sreten
Until recently it had to be torqued perfectly from the nut side, the perfectly good used bolt had to be replaced, now just tighten it up and foeget about it s good enough. I think our host is turning into a grizzled old school mechanic ;)
What a cool interesting episode! Love how these places you visit give you a tour of their facilities. They know M539 Restorations is one of the best channels on RUclips! 😁
My prayers have been answered! There's nothing better than watching the beginnings of an engine rebuild. Seeing you do all your prep work sure is a treat, Sreten. That S65 sure looked sexy down to the bare block. Thanks for always giving us your best. Take care of yourself and we’ll see you on the next one, my friend.
What a coincidence! When I watched JP Performance at H2Motors earlier this week, my first thought was: Sreten would love the guys from HIIM. And here you are :D Fantastic video as always, thanks a lot.
Sreten, you've inspired my love for BMW. I was possessed by the notion that BMW are nothing but unreliable, unserviceable, money pits. Well, they do cost a lot to fix, but it worth the driving experience. Thank you for the quality content, and details on fixing, restoring neglected BMWs.
It just goes to show how highly your work rated. So many top quality companies want to help you out. As always, amazing quality of work and attention to detail.
This is right up my strasse, I have had my E92 M3 for almost six years, I do all the servicing my self , with correct factory torque settings on everything, inspired by you Sreten . 🙌🙌
I'm not a BMW guy, just an old petrol head, but I've got to say, I was blown away with the engine shop. What a fabulous 45 minutes of pure enjoyment. Those guys are not just engineers or craftsmen but artisans. Like Sreten, people who put their heart and soul into their work. Great credit all round.
When I saw that black 3.8 E34 M5 Touring I got chills on my back. I owned one just like that for 7 years. Every aspect of that car is a piece of automotive art.
This is going to be magnificent. Those intake parts just look incredible, and they're going to sound out of this world, absolutely. Also, I'm super glad that you've been able to find shops which are professional and share the same mindset as you do!
Wow that E34 M5 6spd Touring Wagon, amazing! The Ultimate Family Wagon? Those guys are absolute professionals. You're the BEST BMW channel on the net, my personal opinion!
Brilliant! Seeing that engine block getting honed and refinished was great. It's nice to know there are people who know what they're doing with respect to this somewhat unique material. Looking forward to the big rebuild!
Best advert ever for that amazing place. I'm blown away by them. Perfection fellas! Sreten, whatever that was they cleaned the surface up with by hand at the end... don't get yourself ONE... Bulk buy a few thousand and sell them to us with a channel sticker as merch. Everybody needs that. Stick a clear ten or even twenty bucks profit onto the cost and shipping, easy! I'd thank you for it. Superb video, those guys are fantastic.
You are literally running a dream factory... Great work as always, the machine shop visit was very insightful and interesting! Awesome that you were able to look over the shoulders of the H2 Motors wizards!
What an incredible episode this was! I simply can not believe how incredible that workshop is and how beautiful your S65 turned out. I am so eager to see the M3 back on the road and autobahn!
Another great episode to watch! And even featuring your e60 M5! That car is just BMW heaven! Looking forward to seeing the M3 completed with those upgrades. Cheers from the Netherlands
41:58 while I was watching JPs video yesterday, I had to think of you when I noticed the proper engine stand in the background. Nice that you visited them too and noticed as well 😃
I wish I saw this video before I'd done my valve cover refinish. I also noticed it's the paint inside the valve cover that's cracking leading to oil leak, so I completely removed inside paint and painted outside only (Had to add washers to bolts where grommets sit to compensate for removed paint). There is no leak after 25000 miles, but it is true aluminum valve covers is the permanent solution. Great Video!!!
This is incredible. Proper insight into engineering and how in depth engines are. Hopefully this keeps going and doesn’t die out with all this EV nonsense going on
Fantastic content as always! Just bought a Hoodie, it’s not much but i hope i at least supported a minor bushing 😂 - Keep it classy, keep it OEM. Keep on doing what you are doing Sreten. You are a true guru and inspirationel to all of the car community! Love from a Peugeot Mechanic who badly wants a E34 Touring 😂🤘🤘
For OE magnesium cover, refinish them with special oil resistant heat resistant Cerakote finish. It will last much longer than any paint coating you can find.
Another great video Streten. I wish one day you would comment on the status of BMW today. The alpina guys... the h2motors guys... have not seen a single new BMW in their chambers either. It's time to have that conversation.
Nothing is like filling the trunk of an e60 and flying down the road with ease. Really cool to see the machine shop, all of the engines on racks and the amazing cars
I spotted my own car in your video at H2 😳 Must have just missed you. I picked up my Alpina there on Monday…. Great guys at H2. Watching your video makes me feel even better about taking my business there. Keep up the good work!! Your projects are awesome to follow 💪🏼
Weiter so! 👍🏻
Have watched this video 3 times now. Streten you have no idea how useful these videos are for someone like me. The fact that your also recommended upgraded components that i would never have found if it wasnt for you. Great videos and great work. Thank you 🙏
I hope our old Englishteachers don't watch your Episodes.😂 It was a Pleasure to have you in our Shop.🤙
I'm English and you guys speak it better than a lot of people here so don't worry!
Don’t worry guys your English was better than most of the people I know 😂
Englisch sprechen ist wie Motoreninstandsetzung - Übung macht den Meister...
I’m English, your English is far better than mine as I speak with a northern dialect
You Guys Are Amazing!
Don't you wish more shops cared as much as these guys, the world would be a much happier place.
The world would be perfect
Honestly, I want to send my E46 to Germany and work on it with guys who care and know what they’re doing. It’s so difficult to find.
@@studiomwg I'm thinking you're not alone with that sentiment.
@@r.weaver3769 We should all organize a trip, car transport, and a large garage for a two week+ marathon work session. 😂

Amen brother same feeling here from Australia and my Oem+ 323ci factory manual.
Best microfiber intake manifold I've seen to date. Looking amazing.

Microfiber + epoxy resin 😂
