*no noise as everyone takes a second to take watch the ball get dropped then another second to realize that the clock hit :00*
Then the rest, as they say, is history.

the moment the ball was in the air to the moment it hit the ground....to about 5 seconds after was the quietest the crazy loud bar i was at had been all night. It was almost like a slow-mo scene in a movie where the sound gets muffled or turns off. It was so crazy...so surreal. All night we went nuts cheering or cursing at each of the 20,000 big moments in the game....but that last play the whole place seemed confused with what to do....like none of us was totally sure we were really allowed to win!

This is so great! Man, that last throw and we were not sure what happened but then saw the ball hit the ground...the pause (It was the same for me) then the look at the clock and it all registered that the Birds won the Super Bowl! So great. Such an epic game and an epic win for the Eagles. They made this city so proud.

And I still watched this clip like I had no idea Philly was going to win. I hope I NEVER lose that feeling! I could experience this win a hundred times more and it'll never get old. Oh come on guys!!!! What is the point of having different teams then? So every year you're going to be excited for the superbowl winner? Where is the fun in that? We need to stick with our home teams and we need to be disappointed when another team who isn't them wins the Superbowl. Questlove was just like me. I nearly couldn't watch the last few minutes. All lifelong Philly fans were just waiting to see how their hearts would be broken for the umpteenth time. When Brady let that bomb go we all were yelling "No, no, no!". Then the vision of the ball on the ground, then seeing the clock at zero. A moment's pause in disbelief. Then- joy.

I've been a fan if The Roots for almost 25 years. I remember when my buddy got a tale of Organix handed to him outside a Wu Tang show in Philly around 94-95. Been a huge fan ever since. Do You Want More?!?!! Is my favorite rap/hip hop album ever. Organix, Do You Want More, Illadelph Halflife, and Things Fall Apart is probably the 4 best consecutive rap albums put out!

Thanks to the fun provided by this championship season. That Philly offense was, like accepted by the Patriots at the end of the half. We knew we'd them beat. Philly defense is hard. Young kids playing for a job. Playing to become an Eagle is now the goal. Very tough, fair but you feel it after playing them. That was instilled in them from the coordinator.
