    I would love to see more affordable properties in Italy. I love Puglia area but would love to see something close to Rome at the sea. Thanks for all your great videos!

    It's interesting that the former global leading developed countries like Italy have real estate for half the money of former cheap developing countries like Thailand, Vietnam etc, Italy offers fantastic value for lifestyle, I used to visit triora, and inland from ventimiglia often when I worked in Monaco, also outstanding value for money and beautiful, plus very close to the Italian and French Riviera

      Interesting indeed kipps. Most people believe that it is impossible to find property in Italy for under 1000 Euros per sqm. I hope these type of videos dispel this myth. Italy is indeed fantastic as a lifestyle purchase and almost anywhere you buy in the country you are acquiring a property in a nice part of the world. I plan to make a video on Liguria in the not too distant future

    Sorry, I am new to the real estate market. May I ask some questions? What do you exactly mean by lifestyle purchase? You go there for a couple of months per year, the rest of the time your property is empty?
    Don't you think that organized crime could pose a problem in Southern Italy in particular?
    And lastly: What do you think about the macro environment? Don't you think the real estate bubble is likely to burst in 2022 as the FED raises interest rate, plus there are serious problems in China (Evergrande situation)? Those could have an impact all over the world, don't you think?
    Thank you, I love your videos, please keep up the great work!

      Hi Joe and many thanks for your feedback. Lifestyle purchase means you buy in a country/area because you like the place as opposed to an investment purchase where you purely buy for financial gain. Organized crime should not affect people buying property in the South of Italy. I fully understand your concerns about the real estate property bubble but in Italy you have not seen such a boom, indeed over the last ten to fifteen years prices in real terms have dropped in most parts of Italy. Italians are also not as heavily indebted with mortgages like for example in the UK or the US so should be more sheltered from interest rate rises

    I need to ask. You post videos telling your audience why they should not to buy property in Italy. I think you provide 10 good reasons. Why, why then do you continue posting properties for sale in Italy. I look forward to your reply.

    Just an observation: Rome is not all that expensive (outside of the center), is it? To me it seems quite cheap given what Rome is and represents. Same for Milan. But with all these "legacy brand" places like Spain, Italy, Portugal to some extent, you have to remember what you're getting yourself into: high taxes and, perhaps even worse, unnavigable and nightmarish bureaucracy. These places are often nice for vacation, but not for living/becoming tax resident! Frankly, I'm still so disgusted from my experiences in Spain that I like to avoid these countries just out of spite and take my money elsewhere. But everybody's situation and perception are different.

    • @saveandinvestwithgiorgiolo8375
      @saveandinvestwithgiorgiolo8375  2 года назад +2

      Yes I agree 100% Spain in particular is terrible and you should not buy as an investment ( I made a video on this). What you can do is live in Spain a few months of the year enjoy the climate but not become tax resident. Italy is a bit better especially with a flat tax to attract high net worth individuals plus no wealth taxes and very low inheritance tax (much lower than the UK)
