I would say the cantina should be a lounge with a bathroom and storage in the back, next floor kitchen, dining and bathroom, and second floor bedroom and put a partial roof on the terrace for a toilet and outdoor shower, with plant boxes on the top edge to get the sun and rain. The lounge can have a sofa bed for guests.
It would be pretty easy to put another bathroom on the upper floor to the left of the door out to the terrace. You might need to get an engineer to figure out how to bust out a lot of the structure around the cantina stairs, both to widen them towards the outside wall as well as to give adequate headroom going up. The cantina half-bath certainly needs reconfiguring too, maybe moved out to that stable in the rear if drainage is doable.
A fair price for that fixer. The terrace reminds me of where an inmate would be let out for fresh air for their hour a day so I would be changing that. Nice floors and bath tile. 👍🏻
I want to thankyou for your house tours and I enjoy the experience you provide, it's been wonderful. Oneday I would love to come and visit Italy and have coffee with you both. ❤
I believe I would make the cantina an en-suite bedroom by adding a bathroom in the back left corner, put a washing machine where that sink currently is and use the remainder of that small area as storage. First floor would be kitchen, dining, bathroom and small lounge. Second floor a bedroom. Perhaps install a sun shade sail over the terrace (if it would be allowed).
Hello. I would have the Kitchen in the cantina . Butlers pantry in the old animal stall. And if that is drainage/toilet opposite the kitchen sink. I would have the half bath under stairs. Love it ❤
It's a great property, and there are lots of interesting suggestions. Only downside for me is the likelihood of only one bedroom. But the price is excellent 😊
Good deal ! I would like the kitchen (to be) on the lower level. I think the steps going up from there , to the landing and steps going up to the second level could be reconfigured to allow headroom and allowing the second level to be used fully for the living room.
Great content for my wife and I. We are currently looking for an affordable place to retire and a rental. We love the Puglia area it reminds us of Madeira Portugal but flatter lol. We would like to spend a month in Puglia as well. Are any of the properties you show up for rent? Keep up the great content 👍
If a geometra could figure out a way to reconfigure the stairs, I would put the kitchen and dining in the Cantina. Have the middle floor as the living room (siggorna) and the upstairs bedroom. Could the terrace wall be lowered so you could have a view? It has a lot of potential.
I see two vacation rentals. The cantina as a mini 1 bedroom. And the other as a nice 1 bedroom. That we could live in for 3 month blocks doing the Shengen shuffle. Then renting out the rest of the time as a vacation rental. 👍🤔 As long as the rental income could cover yearly operating costs it's a win win. 🏆 I wonder what the occupancy rates would be? 5%, 15%, 40%, 60%?🤔📊
You could drill a few circular holes in the terrace wall at about eye level or fit a window. with a little table and chairs. Id grow grapes 🍇 up above. Sad little dark room for animals 😢 needs imagination? Bathroom looks lovely and not much to do. Id keep the kitchen on the ground floor. And 2 bedsits upstairs. If you plan to rent it out then bedrooms top and bottom would be more private. Bargain!
Lovely little house, sounds like good value BUT it does still need a lot spending on it. I would make a cosy, superb bedroom on-site in the cantina - shouldn't be difficult as it already seems to have a look and water down there. I feel it's much more important to have views from daytime areas than sleep areas. Kitchen and spacious diner on middle level with sitting room/desk/library area on top level. That terrace was d I disappointing without any views. What a waste but a lick of white paint, some greenery out there and it would feel completely different.
For what I recall up to 125cc you don't need a driver's licence. However you require an Italian Identity Card (Carta d'Identità) to be able to purchase it

Like this place it's really cute and small renovation ❤
What an interesting property! Thanks for the video, and keep it up. You are presenting a show that is way better than anything on TV.
omg! this cutie has so much potential!
I think so too!

Oh I love this place. Terrace would beautiful as a garden/ water fountain and more. Beautiful private. A little place of freshness!!
It really is! We wonder if a rectangular hole could be open on the terrace to take advantage of ventilation and views.
Worth looking into

The Calabrian in my American soul wants to go back home.
Hello again.
At my age having the bathroom in the cantina & kitchen would be convenient. No climbing stairs for groceries or rushing for the bathroom
Im glad you guys got to go there. Such a different feel there. Its a really buzzing town in the summer and the views are amazing. 😁
Ciao ♥️ Robert
I want this one love it its perfect

The upstairs outside space should become another bathroom

On a pretty street. Being a blank canvas like this is a benefit. You can see the possibilities for your lifestyle and make that happen. Bargain.
Wait I have seen this video before months ago why is it out like a Patreon early preview?
I don't think so.
It has recently become available and it is not on any website that us or the agent knows of.
