I was able to pick up one of the purple one. Man, the purple does look so much better in person. Mine went into my gspeed gshot. Goes well with the purple v3 cf rails n my purple boom racing probuild wheels. This is my 3rd revolver n i love it! Thanks for the awesome products JRH!
I remember years ago people having issues with rotors prematurely failing (coming apart) when using corrosion X. Seems to soften whatever is used to hold the magnets in.
I'm having a hard time understanding exact differences between the revolver lines. I'm in the process of building a Gshot but do I want thsi super light weight model or do I want the regular 540 with super torque and strength? space is not really an issue, I'm not running any sort of interior. Maybe a great topic for a video?
I have the very first ss team spec in a 5 lb C2 comp truck. Paired with a Copperhead. Thinking about switching to the Mamba X as the coppehead will lock up occasionally if I run a sub 1000 mah battery.
hey John, questions. ive read around that 4s runs more efficient all the way around. does that mean it keeps it cooler or does it run on the hotter side? also with the crawlmaster v2 if im running a direct power servo if there a need for a external bec?

I got my purple one in the mail a couple days ago pairing it up with a castle creations sidewinder and gonna put that on my first flat rail build which is a G speed , can’t wait to start .,do you think the sidewinder ESC is a good pair with that motor?
I just got a HH V2 1000kv revolver and castle mamba X for my TRX 2021 bronco. I’ve ran it a few times and it’s a lot slower than the stock brushed motor which is fine. But I’m curious to know if it’s torquey enough for my rig? I mostly crawl with it and sometimes walk trails in second gear and run 2s lipos (for the time being I’ll get 3s eventually). I have metal axles and a brass diff cover as my only additional weight right now. Haven’t crawled yet just chased the dogs in the back yard lol. I see most trx4 people buy them in the 1800-2500kv range but my local hobby store only had a 1000kv and they’re hard to get in stock of any size according to the store since people buy them asap. Did I accidentally go with too small of a KV rating or do you think it will be fine? Don’t really care about speed just want more torque than stock. If I need to regear or bump up to 3s please let me know!

Hi there holmes i received the motor in perfect order but i have a question i have a SW4 with your revolver v2 snubnose had it on the shelve for a while just got it out and i noticed sparks coming from my esc is this normal or is my esc smoked out have not noticed this before

Just ordered the purple one with a crawlmaster mini V2. Will be my first HH brushless setup, so we’ll see how she goes! Can’t wait!

I'm currently using a castle Brushless with the mamba x esc. My question is can I ditch the Castle motor and run your motor with the Mamba X

sparks arent normal unless you are talking about when you plug in the battery
@@HolmesHobbies the sparks are coming from the sw4 esc itself it looks like it comes from pots inside the esc.
