After Reading “Star Wars Deceived” Darth Malgus Became An Instant Favorite of Mines. Though He Was A True Born Killing Machine. He Had A Strong Sense of Honor About Him.
IMO, Malgus is the greatest duelist in the Star Wars universe. The four shorts that he is in give more than enough credence to that. He has one handed strength like no other, power through Jedi blocks and easily blocking their strikes. He also counterattacks at lightning speeds and can easily throw his opponent out of balance by using the Force in extremely well timed moments. He also uses lightning and rage to catch his prey off guard, and even when they have the upper hand in battle, he always uses that upper hand to grow their confidence and make them mess up, and then goes in for the easy killing blow. There are none like him.
I would say in his time he is the best duelist. But I think Tulak Hord would beat him, Maglus has lost a few fights but Hord was undefeated, and most Sith throughout all the time periods consider him to be the greatest of all time. Only being stabbed in his back by an apprentice too scared to challenge him properly.
This is why I love the Sith. They are true warriors. There’s something respectable about that. I would love to get my hands on and read Darth Malgus’s journal.

Can you make a video of vitiate/tenebrae/valkorion vs palpatine, George lucas said palpatine is the strongest sith ever but vitiate seemed so much stronger
GL quote only refers to canon, it doesnt count for legends. In Fact, a lot of sith have been quoted as „the most powerful“ including Vitiate btw, i can send the source of ya wish. And Sidious is a powerhouse, but i agree, Vitiate, Nihilus, Revan or Malgus and co would Crush him
@@kevind3974 Sidious Himself Said that Malgus‘ fighting skills are unparalleled. In addition Malgus survives staying on an exploding spacestation or tanks rockets like nothing , so even if Sidious knows that he won’t win a duel and switches to forceabilities I highly doubt that his lightnings and forcestorm are enough to take him down. Especially if we talk about Onslaught- or the „Current“ Malgus who achieved Oneness with the Force unlike Sidious who failed a lot of duels and wasn’t able to entirely control his forcelightning and forcestorms etc, thats why Malgus would recklessly kill Sidious in a fight. And same goes for a lot of other Sith Lords against Sidious. Sidious is by far the most powerful Sith in canon and also in legends a powerhouse and a super intelligent villain. But people often forget the feats of other more powerful characters. And we should keep in Mind that Sidious already got detroyed by Karness Murrs ghost, who is strong but absolutely not one of the strongest. This alone confirms that Sidious shouldn’t fight against a few Sith from the past cause it would be his safe death.
Incorrect, if you actually read the lore, Palpatine is considered one of the strongest force wielders EVER. The ancient Sith were weakened by dividing their power, hence the Rule of Two being made, and Palpatine/ Darth Sidious is the most powerful Master after that rule.
@@Dewydidit this refers only to political power. The rule of two failed completely, that’s even said in the Plagueis Roman. And we know a lot of examples where it went totally wrong (for example what Darth Milenial did and all the other murders under unfair circumstances). Sidious is indeed a very powerful and intelligent supervillain, but we should keep in mind that even a ghost of Karness Murr was capable of defeating Palpatine without any effort. That shows clearly that a lot of ancient Sith are far superior (which doesn’t mean that Sidious is weak).
just gonna put this out here... Disney missed making Vitiate every Sith Master through out Starwars History, learning of the rule of two he could have learned to bide his time being in the shadows making sure his next host was strong enough to endure his essence.
They need to to make live action movies of these new stories. I am tired of shows that are basically showing what happened between the current films that can be told via animation
What Star Wars media are the clips with all the dual blades? I keep seeing the clips but haven’t gotten to touch up much on my Star Wars games so I’m a little out of touch on it
Watch “Episode 1” with Darth Maul. He had dual blades, unless you’re speaking of the the likes of Akhosha with dual blades then I don’t know of any Sith. I’m sure they are there but who I don’t know.
Most of what they can talk is hypothetical stuff from legends or opinions or most often, title clickbait that has barely anything at all with what theyre actually talking about.
Force Maelstrom ... like "mouse strum" - e.g. Akkadese Maelstrom in the Kessel sector which Han Solo flew through to achieve his 12 parsec Kessel run. Caling it "male storm" ... it's not raining men for Darth Malgus
Palps is highly overrated. He was the strongest as a manilpulator and schemer, and was more a jackl of all trades and master of none. There is a reason he had to get his master drunk and kill him in his sleep, he was not strong enough to do so head to head. Palp is considered the strongest because that's the way he was written by Lucas, because in the original trilogy, no others even existed or fleshed out. Today, there are plenty in canon that could have easily stood toe to toe with the Emperor. His accomplishments was clouding the Jedi Councils minds as he hid right under their nose. Nothing to scoff at, but that was his ultimate win. Manipulation, creating the clones and triggering them with Order 66, etc...his ideas, but not done by his hand alone. Vitiate had achieved what Palps wanted, eternal life. The ability to kill an entire planet and suck it's life force in seconds. Something some comic writer copied for Palps later on in something that is no longer canon. Truth is, Sith become weaker as a whole when the rule of two come along, their numbers thinned to near nothing.

i have loved darth malgus for nearly 6-7 years and i can say he is my favourite sith with ease
Malgus is one of my favorite Sith lords
Malgus was a perfect Sith warrior but would have failed in the Rule of 2 Era he lacked the cunning and guile that separates powerful sith from successful sith like Palpatine or Vitiate. But if it was more like the Empire setup where Malgus would basically be Sidious’ enforcer and instrument of terror he definitely woulda outshone Vader
He beats Vader anyways
Fantastic Video. This was amazing. Thanks for sharing!
Malgus BEEN my favorite Sith Lord since the old cinematics came out….
These are literally the best fight scenes in any of Star Wars.
Malgus is hands down my favorite ancient Sith and probably top 3 of all Sith. Just a bad ass warrior.
Fallen order braught me here...now I'm about to watch all star wars canon because of that game and this channel.
very good video. love your channel.
may the force be with you!
I hope they make Malgus canon since he’s still frozen all those years
Honestly if Malgus and Maul were to connect and team up Sidious as well as Vader would stand no chance
maul would get smacked by vader gtfo and malgus vs sideous and vader would also be a beat down
@@vincenthammons6705 1v1 Malgus would win hands down cause of obvious factors
Sidious thinking Malgus would become his apprentice and not the other way around, that's cute...
0:55 I cant help it...
It looks like Malgus is about to assault us with a sex toy xD
Please do bio videos on all the Sith Lords from the Old Republic era! It is hard to keep them straight… Exar Kun, Marka Ragnos, Ulic Qel-Droma, Freedon Nad, Tulak Horde, Darth Tenebrae/Vitiate/Valkorion, Darth Bane, Darth Zannah, Darth Revan, Darth Malak, Darth Traya, Darth Sion, Darth Nihilus, etc., just to name a few…
He became my favorite character next to Vader and Fett, once SWTOR came out and those crisp ass videos…and then his lore I was like fucking aye man!!!
Absolutely love Malgus and is up there as 1 of my 5 favourite DW characters. He's just beast
Malgus' fighting style technically confirmed, but warriors of his day were known for practicing forms 1, 3, 5 and 7
Malgus, Vader, and Revan are the TOP sith characters ever and the only characters they need to be worried about making movies of right now. Such strong characters. Malgus would make a great movie.
I hope he’s the focus of a movie trilogy one day
Where is all of this gameplay of Malgus from?
One of my favorites!! Malgus is a beast!!!
Always been one of my favs!
Cool vid 💙⚔️🖤
What If Darth Malgus was in Star Wars Episode 3 and How would Mace Windu, Yoda and the other Jedi Masters fight Malgus in the Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith?
They lose still lol
Really interesting new video thanks
Can you make a video of vitiate/tenebrae/valkorion vs palpatine, George lucas said palpatine is the strongest sith ever but vitiate seemed so much stronger
GL quote only refers to canon, it doesnt count for legends. In Fact, a lot of sith have been quoted as „the most powerful“ including Vitiate btw, i can send the source of ya wish. And Sidious is a powerhouse, but i agree, Vitiate, Nihilus, Revan or Malgus and co would Crush him
@@abeloth1116 malgus and revan probably wouldnt, but nihilus and vitiate yea
Vitiate alone would crush palpatine while taking a shit
@@MrRow-gu9oi as of now of those four only malgus and revan have been recanonized and both just barely at that
@@kevind3974 Sidious Himself Said that Malgus‘ fighting skills are unparalleled.
Just wanted to say that it’s “maelstrom” (rather than “mael-storm”) - meaning a powerful whirlpool or also used to mean a kind of violent turmoil
Emperor was weak anyways compared to Sith in the past. Palpatine was a schemer, Old Republic were schemes and battlemasters
Way more powerful, Malgus was truly an awesome Sith
Thats True, Sidious is strong but Guys like Vitiate, Malgus and co would destroy him
What utter f*cking ignorance lmfao. Read about Palpatine's most incredible force feats, especially in Legends (since Malgus is a Legends character).
Malgus would never be palpatines apprentice, he'd overpower and overthrow palpatine in an instant.
just gonna put this out here... Disney missed making Vitiate every Sith Master through out Starwars History, learning of the rule of two he could have learned to bide his time being in the shadows making sure his next host was strong enough to endure his essence.
about time im shown love😢
They need to to make live action movies of these new stories. I am tired of shows that are basically showing what happened between the current films that can be told via animation
What Star Wars media are the clips with all the dual blades? I keep seeing the clips but haven’t gotten to touch up much on my Star Wars games so I’m a little out of touch on it
Watch “Episode 1” with Darth Maul. He had dual blades, unless you’re speaking of the the likes of Akhosha with dual blades then I don’t know of any Sith. I’m sure they are there but who I don’t know.
Best thing about him is he still alive and never got killed
I swear Star Wars Creators have nothing to talk about.
They don’t. It’s because there’s nothing interesting to talk about rn tbh
Until Disney releases one of their shitty shows and then they shill, when all that gets used up it's back to Legends.
Most of what they can talk is hypothetical stuff from legends or opinions or most often, title clickbait that has barely anything at all with what theyre actually talking about.
Don’t like it don’t watch it
Cuz Disney has made nothing interesting, it's literally ALL hot garbage. Everything interesting ended with George
Totally agree... Malgus was a beast and the sith standard
Force Maelstrom ... like "mouse strum" - e.g. Akkadese Maelstrom in the Kessel sector which Han Solo flew through to achieve his 12 parsec Kessel run.
Caling it "male storm" ... it's not raining men for Darth Malgus
Totally amazing
Were all of those clips from SWTOR?
What show or game are these clips from? Kinda getting into star wars
Before I watch this does this video have spoilers for SWTOR?
How long or before was darth Raven as well as Nilece
they should make a videogame about his life where you play him
Thank you
Palps is highly overrated.
Exactly.
What are these cinematically from?
Tenebrae, Sidious and Malgus would dominate the Galaxy together. (But even though Sidious would know that Tenebrae is too dangerous and crazy)
Is this malgus guy from a TV series or comics? He seems interesting and I want to get into his story.
Never been a malgus fan maybe thats how well they made him grew up to despise him but he would make a formidable vilain in an upcoming triology if there would be any . Anything from the " old " era deserve more light on the screen . I get vader is a fan favorite but showing up that lore on the screen would be fantastic
One never even play The Old Republoc, but I've seen the cut scenes/trailers and good lord. He's a Sith TANK.
Stupendous Wave, with all due respect, it's "maelstRom," not "marlstOrm." :)
Dromund Kaas was great. If someone was a dark lord or a lackey. Not so much if they’re a nobody. He reminds me of our word.
They just need to make movie with characters like this. Can u imagine the movies with like him revan and Malak...we need this..just this small little trailer is better than most movies in star wars
Guess that's why he modelled Vader's armour on him.
Modeled Malgus’ armor on Vader*
I really wish Lucasfilm would do a live action movie with Darth Malgus.
thanks for the swtor 7.0 update spoilers that came out yesterday was waiting to play that tonight.......
Where can I find the first fight of his in the begging of this
I would love to see a duel between Malgus and Star Killer
Palpatine wanting Malgus as his apprentice is like me wanting Abraham Lincoln to be President
What’s the name of that outro song!?!?
They should do a movie on the Old Republic, with Malgus.Marcus. Disney would mess it up though.
May I ask what is your source for the video??
Malgus the GOAT of sith empire alongside vader
True Facts: Malgus also made the same mistake Anakin did. That’s why he’s injured and all cyborg up. #highground
Stevie Wonder tried to warn us-
