Love watching these videos. I like learning better techniques for this kind of work. I'm pretty new to soldering, so it was nice seeing someone who knows what they're doing clean off the old solder.

It would be cool to see you get one of those aftermarket cartridge PCBs and then remove the rest of the chips from that broken cartridge and see if you can get a working Japanese cartridge.
I'd love to see a battery replacement/upgrade video for not just Gameboy, but also GBA games. I recently did a battery replacement on my Pokémon Sapphire and Emerald cartridges allowing me to acces the clock features of those games onc3 again. It'd be cool for this channel to make a similar video for others wondering about the process.

2:56 Those two are really good games. Oracles of Seasons and Ages are the best handheld Zelda games. I played them so much that I burnt out the battery on both of them. After that I borrowed both games from my friends and played them back to back. Nowadays I use emulators and even included mods like better text and better swimming controls with the Mermaid suit. Is the Japanese version any different from the American version aside from the text and the opening screen? I don't know how we didn't get a remake for this game yet.

I really hope Nintendo eventually remakes the Zelda Oracle of Ages and Seasons games. I was shocked they never used the Links Awakening engine to remake them

Best Games of 2023 can we expect? I got a voice acting background and have to say that Yuri Lowenthal's voice has been such an inspiration for me since the Prince of Persia Trilogy. His performance in Spidey 2 is amazing. The vocal training was really tough, sometimes without noticeable results for months but actors like him and the late Kevin Conroy are a great impulse to not give up. You almost saw me as Leon in those new RE games :)
I would definitely like to see a video showing how to eliminate the requirement for a battery on Gameboy cartridges.
