That noise sounds like transmission noise though, like straight cut gears, I don’t think it’s from the electric motors. He would hear the same kind of transmission noise in his other cars only it’s probably drowned out by the engine normally. So compared to that it’s silent. :P
motors can often make a compressor or deeper humming noise. Though that might be from my experience in combat robotics and the type of motors used in antweight and beetleweight competitions, where the aerodynamic instability doesnt cause a hell of a lot more noise.... Probably.

@@yelnatsch517 that's the problem with electric motors.. you can't do that with them otherwise they burn through. The power curve has to be adjusted very specifically so that you get as much torque as possible from a stand, without melting the motor..

I want to see a second 'hand brake' that when you steer in and pull the outside tires light up based on the amount of turn in. I like the sound. It's not a V8 roaring or rumbling or snarling but it does scream and hiss like a banshee. Every bit as entertaining as listening to a big V8 and I find it way more appealing than the noises F1 or Indy cars make.

I feel like Ken needs to a gymkhana montage deal where hes driving the Hcorn around a hairpin and coming out of the hairpin hes in the Htruck, goes into a tunnel and comes out as the Hcorn. I might be wrong, but the point of straight-cut gears is so you can make a racing gearbox that shifts really fast. This thing doesn't have a shifter so I imagine it's got helical gears in its diffs. It's possible the gears are the noise, I didn't think of that, but electric motors also whine, you even hear it in little bitty RC cars.
That is mostly the incredible music of high horsepower inverter changing frequencies to change motor speed and torque. Amazing sound of the future. Gas motors sound good also but is old technology past its time. Time to embrace the fire of faster safer higher horsepower easier to maintain electric cars.

Elective sounds like pure insane horsepower musuc and torque delivered in a far more linear and usable almost straight line hp/torque curve. Magnetic flux "noise" interferes with the magnet of the microphone. And makes it much louder for a microphone than it is in real life. Basically when the motor winds up it blasts out magnetic waves that make the microphones magnet shake to the HZ of the magnet flip. Probably 3*3400 so 11200 Hz

electric motors are a rotary magnbet form of 2 stroke, the insane power and torque is there, but the sound and heat they make is not so attractive.

What I want to see is each wheel independently driven by one or more motors. I want to see a second 'hand brake' that when you steer in and pull the outside tires light up based on the amount of turn in. Make it progressive so that at full lock the outside tires are going forward and the inside is turning in reverse. Donuts were the bumpers are just swapping places at high speed without the car moving forwards or back.

I like the sound. It's not a V8 roaring or rumbling or snarling but it does scream and hiss like a banshee. Every bit as entertaining as listening to a big V8 and I find it way more appealing than the noises F1 or Indy cars make.

I think Ken said “ No Sound” I couldn’t hear him over the screaming straight cut gears or whatever those banshees are in the trunk.
I might be wrong, but the point of straight-cut gears is so you can make a racing gearbox that shifts really fast. This thing doesn't have a shifter so I imagine it's got helical gears in its diffs. It's possible the gears are the noise, I didn't think of that, but electric motors also whine, you even hear it in little bitty RC cars.
That is mostly the incredible music of high horsepower inverter changing frequencies to change motor speed and torque. Amazing sound of the future. Gas motors sound good also but is old technology past its time. Time to embrace the fire of faster safer higher horsepower easier to maintain electric cars.

Magnetic flux "noise" interferes with the magnet of the microphone. And makes it much louder for a microphone than it is in real life.
Basically when the motor winds up it blasts out magnetic waves that make the microphones magnet shake to the HZ of the magnet flip. Probably 3*3400 so 11200 Hz
