Duuuuddee! I haven’t seen someone use a slip stitch to secure the end before. That’s so smart. Mikey thank you 🥰

Mikey!! Your words at the start were ringing in my ears while finishing a crochet cardigan, "the hard work is done, you're just finishing up" I love your brutal honesty, and you were cheering me on to just get it done. For once, I have a FINISHED ITEM. All ends sewn in, panels together. I need a video of Mikey just cracking the whip like "b*itch, no you don't get to leave it in the whip pile, finish that mo-fo" ❤❤❤

    Scoot/scooting is to move quickly!
    Scoot in slang means Dollar.
I’m from the uk and I used scoot to the kids when I wanted them out of the way. Thankyou for this tutorial, it’s nice to learn something new!!

I'm whipstitching a project now and looking for tips on securing the whipstitch. The project you're whipstitching is what I'm curious about. I'd love to see the whole project it looks beautiful from what I can see. And p.s. thanks for the Lego block tutorial. I made it for my grandson and may 31st I get to give it to him. Trying to whipstitch my granddaughter's blanket now

I am a newbie (less than a year) and this was a great tutorial on the whip stitch. You take your time and have great explanations along the way and your hack saved me as I had two granny squares a bit longer than the other. Worked like a charm. I will keep this to refer to in the future. Btw I like your humour along the way. Now I am a subscriber. ☺️

how to estimate how much yarn you'll need for the whip stitch? is it maybe 2 or 3 times the length of what you're joining?

This is great, but I have an afghan that was done in long pieces, so the edges I have to sew together are all turning edges, not nice, neat single crochets like this one. Can you do a quick tutorial on how to join turning edges, please? Thank you!

Love this type of joining but do not like the knot at the beginning. Can that be placed on the back or made less obivious? Even in the same color you could feel that lump, couldn't it?
