    NAKED GUN MOVIE REACTION: 0:00 - 32:24
    NAKED GUN MOVIE REVIEW: 32:25 - 34:30
    The Naked Gun Movie Description:
Frank Drebin (Leslie Nielsen), a rather clueless police detective, tries to foil a plot to turn innocent people into assassins through mind control. After his partner, Norberg (O.J. Simpson), is shot, Frank sets out to find the culprit, leading him to business tycoon Vincent Ludwig (Ricardo Montalban). However, Frank has no evidence until he meets Jane Spencer (Priscilla Presley), Ludwig's assistant. She knows nothing about Ludwig's devious plans, but falls for Frank and agrees to help him.

Leslie Nielsen was so good at playing deadly serious, "don't mess with me" characters that he guest starred a lot as cold, calculating villains in TV crime dramas. What made Leslie Nielsen such a legend was the fact that he was a serious actor for so long, then when they made "Airplane" in 1980 he brought his serious deadpan delivery to an off the wall comedy. After that they made the original "Police Squad" TV show, which ran for only 6 episodes but is now a cult classic. From there the Naked Gun and everything else Leslie did after was all comedy. But it was his long-time stint as a serious actor that made his switch to comedy that much funnier.

Weird Al made a cameo in this because he was a fan of "Police Squad", the show this is based on, and word found its way to the Zuckers, so that's why he's here. He's also in Naked Gun 2 1/2, but not as himself. He is himself, however, in Naked Gun 33 1/3, appearing in a scene with Vanna White from "Wheel of Fortune".
Also, Charlotte Zucker, David and Jerry's mother", makes a brief appearance in this as Ludwig's secretary. She had a small part in the majority of the films they produced and/or directed.
