Fantastic to see that this can be done. I’m painting my Morris minor by hand with paintman coach enamel too. Had you applied a clear coat to this or will you consider putting one on now your sanding and polishing?? I’m weighing up when is best to put the clear coat on to mine.
Most clearcoats are too 'hot' for enamels and will react, if you do clear with one specifically designed for it then make sure you leave it for a good few months id say as they take a long time to gas off and cure fully
Did you need to see the 1200 grit and 2000, 2500 paper a bit closer up ? I thought explaining what papers were used and showing the outcomes of each of the materials shown was enough, my bad

Hmm that may have made my decision for me then.. thank you!! Think I’ll leave the enamel as it was intended. 👍🏻
That has come up really good! What make coach enamel did you use and how long did you have to leave it before you flatted it?
Ill check the make later but i never cut any earlier than 3-4 months curing as its veeeeery slow to dry
@@FoxSpeedshop awesome thanks, I am enamel painting a car at the moment and want to flat it and polish it.
@@FoxSpeedshop hi, did you find out what make your paint is? Thanks
