I just love this car, the idea to give it so much power and create the down force to control it was a foreign concept to me at the time. And when those crazy gear heads get the power up to 2000 hp the down force can still keep the car on the ground. Amazing car this is.

Having had the Ram Srt-10 I understand it when you say the sound. It's a very throaty and unique sound that you never get tired of hearing. I would literally just open the rear sliding window and just enjoy hearing the motor.

I have 2. 2002 gts. One is 600hp. Top end modified.. The other is a 1000hp Supercharged beast with all forged internals bored stroked trans rear end clutch flyweel Etc etc. Its a burn your hair off Fast ...sick bastard.

Quick question.. I own an Anodized carbon edition viper and I tend to double clutch the up and down shifts trying to prolong the life of the synchros in the trans. Is there any harm in doing that?
It's really up to you!! We don't double clutch in ours, and the transmission has preformed flawlessly!! Thanks for the comment! Let us know if you ever need wheels or tires for your Viper!!
Drivetrain loss... power from motor to rear tends be anywhere in the 10-15% . Plus then their is elevation power loss from high elevation...thinner air he's at 5k above sea level so the air to fuel ratio gets thrown off from say sea level... Don't know what percentage u get with 5k elevation probably around. 10%
