I’m not a pro controller kind of guy but swapping out the buttons to play fighting games as they were intended is pretty damn cool!
i have this controller since 3 month and its the worst controller you can have, right joystick drift appeared 1 week after i started to play with, and the right joystick have no precision, so even if you have your deadzone at 5% it does nothing, the controller detect the movement after 10-11% deadzone minimum, i don’t recommend this controller, for 200 bucks you can buy the astro c40 who is much better than this controller

@@JCU84 8bitdo could have done have done it but they still put the hall effect switch on their switch controller instead of putting one on their xbox compatible ones, the only way to play with a controller for the xbox with hall effect sticks is to buy one and connect it to a wingman

Had 2 of these - both had horrible stick drift within 6 weeks of buying, still waiting for support to get it repaired or the sticks replaced (3 months on!)

2 months with it and I love it. Adaptive triggers gyros and pulse vibrations are a gimmick for games that use them which is very few.
This has upped my kd and rank in games like cod, apex. Being able to reload, slide and switch weapons on the fly with having to loose aim focus comes in clutch.
Smooth as butter in tekken, street fighter it has a hexagonal joystick ring that makes directional inputs easy. And being able to remap the back buttons gives that edge in a close fight. It maps to ps5, ps4 and pc in one controller. Best 170 spent for a pro controller.
The swappable parts are replaceable via Amazon, or contacting the manufacturer through their website.
This is actually my main controller bc I got stuck drift on my plain controller and it’s super nice

It's $180 this company it's top notch on fighting games and fps competition. They got the Gambit last year and it's the fastest controller on Xbox, but I got drift after 6 months other than that it's brand new I just add some grips and the Xbox version have removable back paddles.

I have both Xbox for my PC, and this one for my PS5. They triggers have zero input lag. I recommend this controllers. Victrix trully nailed it.

@@medhybless I will put it this way. And yes is not PS controllers but I bought two Xbox elite 2 controller and in 4 months joystick issues. Then I bought a Scuff Instinct Pro controller and only last me 2 months that already had joystick issues. Then I bought a Razer Wolverine V2, and after a new software update the controller completely died. So I bought a Thrustmaster ESwap controller but I didn't like the rear buttons. Then I bought the Victrix Gambit Xbox controller with zero expectations, and man, is been almost two years and it still running like a champ. And is my main controller on PC. I also have a PS5 and I have a regular controller, The Edge, and the Victrix, and you can't go wrong with either one of them
@@medhybless but the Victrix triggers activate instantly with zero lag. It had unreal instant response. The only issue I have with it is that the triggers are too extended to the sides and sometimes I shoot accidentally, which is a issue combined with how responsive it is 🤣🤣🤣

The real problem its really this fucking Joystick, i’ve played only on PS console and never knew that ! And now, 2 Dualsens « clean » for 5-6 month without damage or agressive gameplay ITS A SHAME 😔
@@medhybless 😔 you won't go wrong with any of both the Edge or Victrix. But the Victrix has the very responsive triggers and the fighting buttons. The Edge battery sucks but it comes with all the other features of the dualsense, replacement joysticks and also the rear buttons. Is depending what kind of games you play. If you play just fos games go with the Victrix, but if you play a little bit of everything, go with the Edge.
I sadly wouldn’t recommend this controller. I’ve had it since the start of January and it worked like a dream… until I tried to update the software. Trying to update the wireless dongle made it stop working completely and the controller update never finished despite waiting for nearly an hour. Costumer service was hella slow and I’m not even sure it’s worth the effort to get a new wireless dongle. The stick drift has become unbearable in certain games. It also has a tendency to stop working completely in the middle of games which has caused many frustrating and avoidable deaths. When you change the sensitivity of the triggers, it also tends to shut the controller down, leaving me to unplug and plug it back in again. The back buttons are a bit too cramped for my liking and placed in a way that depending on the game, makes them hurt to use over time. Overall: Good at the start, terrible any other time. Not worth. :/

Honestly I bought the hall sensing controller, Gulkit or something, anyways used it a year now and no stick drift. I gave up on other controllers, they feel better button wise but they seem to work less and less long-term than before. Mind you I am using it for Steam right now but I believe it is compatible with PlayStation. Unless they make those changeable sticks with Hall sensing sensors, nope for me. Thanks for confirming that even if it costs more, they still expect you to buy a new one in a year. Same reason I didn't get the pro version Xbox controller. Such a shame.

It doesn't have the touch pad, vibration or comfort of the edge. Plus it's cheap plastic crap. The only bonuses are the switchable modules and it has 4 rear buttons vs the edge that only offers 2 (which to me is a complete deal breaker for the edge. The fact that anyone would waist their time developing a controller that doesn't have 4 rear paddles is just asinine! )

This is better than the edge I have both. The edge just looks better. The BFG is lighter and has four back buttons. And five settings for the triggers vs the edges three. Holds a longer charge life. The app that you use to run diagnostics for the BFG is really easy to use. I just got the edge for the Sony exclusives because of the haptic feedback. I would have easily pick the edge over the big f****** gun I mean BFG if it had four back buttons and didn't feel like a brick in my hand after a long session. BFG is just better sorry.

Usually controllers where you can swap button like that end up having stick drift after just a few months of playing. The ASTRO C-40 was the same way
Buy wd40 contact cleaner my controllers had stuck drift on my vr and PlayStation just sprayed that inside and now it’s fixed
If it’s getting drift that early it’s most likely dirt and requires proper cleaning
Astro c40 you could get new modules for though. So in that case it's fine.

One feature to improve this controller are thick squeezable grips. A problem I have is clenching my controller way too hard in stressful situations, flaring up carpel tunnel. Stress ball grips, so simple!
You'd just do the same thing, you just need to calm down and not let games stress you out

the Astro c-40 was one of the first few controllers to do this and thats over 5 years old, i spent like 400au and it lasted lile 3 months before i had to get it replaced and the replacement lasted about the same amount of time before it got stick drift and stick over-shooting
I wanna get a ps5 soon to replace my Xbox series s but I’m not a fan of the PlayStation controller layout so this might be something that will help me make the decision over getting the series x as i can put the layout the same way as an Xbox controller

I used Xboxes for the majority of my life, then switched to PS5 for VR, and I can say that you do get used to the PlayStation layout pretty quickly. So I recommend trying to get used to that before making the decision to buy something like this
Especially since it’s missing haptic feedback, vibrations, and *maybe* the adaptive triggers (I forgot), all big features of the controller you’d be missing out on

It's about $15-30 less than the Sony DualSense Edge PS5 controller.

I live in America and my father lives overseas. My dad is retired, and all he does is play videogames, I went to visit him 2 months ago and he showed me this controller. And as a PC gamer who enjoys sitting back and relaxing like any console gamer, I loved this controller.

It's really clever the way you can change the layout of the joysticks and face buttons. I prefer the Xbox style for the joysticks so to play games on my PS5 like that would be pretty cool.
