I've been using Victrix Pro bfg for a few months, and It's a bit difficult to evaluate. Very first time, I loved it and then I realized that the trigger deadzone is too sensitive and weired. And also these R2 and L2 feel too cheap. However I found that they have a frimware update with a software, and can be adjusted the deadzone in this software, but it is not perfect though, just okay.
Got this controller about a month ago, mainly for Borderlands 2, and it's been the best change ever. It took a good week or so to get used to the back paddles, and to get the controller layout the exact way I wanted it. So far, it's been nothing but excellent. There are also Hall effect circuit boards you can get, for about $40 for both sticks (epindon brand). Victrix is also supposedly releasing Hall effect modules straight from themselves at some point this year. Also, I have not used any connection other than the 3 meter cord provided, and there's zero latency, as would be expected. Unsure of latency on the wireless or Bluetooth. But that braided cable they provided is super nice quality. Edit: I didn't notice him mention, but the price point reflects what you get. This controller does not have haptic feedback OR vibration/rumble features. That's what you are sacrificing to pay the smaller amount. For my purposes, it's perfect, but I have really only played this controller on a single game, and it's exactly what I wanted in a controller for that one game I generally play.
@@_WalterBlack Article from them about this controller, from around April of last year I think. Said that they were supposed to be out early this year. Epindon has pcbs with Hall effect for it though, may be what they were referring to but I'm not sure. I have not gotten the epindon pcbs yet, as I'm hoping for a Victrix sponsored or branded set. All in all though, I still have no complaints about the controller, absolutely love it for the couple games I play lol
@@barrysandcream I haven't gotten the controller yet but I'll get when I buy a ps5, personally I don't mind that much the absence of vibration and reactive triggers as I haven't used vibration in my ps4 and I obviously never tried reactive triggers so I won't feel like it's missing those. I wasn't sure I'd to buy the controller but jow that I know about these replacements I'll get it 100%
@@_WalterBlack I think this thing's really good, def recommend it. The PS5 version can also play on PS4 and PC as well, it has a little selector switch for all 3. If you still game on PS4, highly recommend going ahead and scooping it whenever you can. It took a good week of swapping stuff around to finally get a good feeling controller for my play style though, and the back paddles (since I never had a pro controller) took some time to get used to. The question is what are you playing (zero or battle Royale)? Are you playing claw or paddles? If claw I would choose the edge, if paddles scuf or bfg (4 paddles)
Yeah besides the duke on the original Xbox. I thought Microsoft’s design was the best and just natural. Would be cool if you could buy one the size of the duke for those with big hands

Dualsense edge, no contest. This comes across as a sponsored ungeniune video. The fact he has scuff as his top choices, when the bulld quality is terrible tells you everything.
