Lean Into Minimalism: Space In The Frame

Leaving space in the frame isn't nothingness, it can inform intention and build a story for your main subject.
Things haven't gone quite to plan this week so this video isn't quite as I intended and I'm sure someone will rightly point out that the photos featured aren't pure minimalist in style but my hope is that it will still provide you with a few minutes escape down at the coast, perhaps with my voice over sending you off to sleep?! The take away point hopefully is clear though that sometimes we have to be brave and leave stuff out. That's not a bad composition rule to stick to, if it doesn't help support the main subject and carry the story, try to cut it out!
