- I was looking for some sound out of my 5.7L V8...and this certainly woke it up. An intake is an easy install, with immediate sound benefits. I was pleased with the price point, and the sounds, but found the 'whistling' at low accelerations to be a bit annoying. Hopefully this video helps those in the market!

have the same on my 2018 5.7, the sound is not bad but was amazed at the immediate MPG increase, .5-1 gal improvement with one stretch of open highway I got 18.4 MPG where 16.5 or so would of been expected
I have seen the same! Mine is a minimum .5 MPG increase and I love it.
I just installed a rough country cold air intake yesterday. It definitely sounds different and I think I have a little more response but this truck came with a huge intake already( towing truck)
I do wish the lights were easier to change. It sucks. You have to take the entire grill off just to replace the bulbs.
Nice! I’ve been liking the intake so far. I did new headlights on my truck so I don’t have to worry about bulbs anymore. Check out my other video, you may like it for yours too.
Also, what size tires are you running? Are those 275/65/20?
285/65/20 - made a video on these too. Totally changed the look of the truck.
What radio is that and do you experience any sort of delay or lag with it ?
It’s a dasaita head unit. I recommend watching my install and review video. It’s pretty rad if you ask me.
did it improve mpg?
As a matter of fact it did. From a month before and after install we are up about .5-.7MPG
Dam that’s good, I’m gonna have to look in to it. I’m in cali so idk if it makes sense putting one on my truck.
