Toyota just bought back a 2007 tundra with 1,000,000 miles on the original engine and transmission.. I think I'm moving in from my traditional Ram and going Tundra next.
Ive learned the hard way, if you want to do some serious offroading and overlanding, side pipes are the way to go. They keep getting pinched out the back. Those Magnaflows are my fav.
I scooped an MBRP 3in single exit for my 07 tundra and couldn't be happier. Little over $500, it's a couple hundred cheaper than the kits you just listed in your video, and sounds way better IMO. There is no drone, just a pleasant rumble at highway speeds, nice sound in the cab. lots of reviews complained of drone but it is just general exhaust noise resonating in the cabin, I wouldn't go as far as to call it "drone" I've driven clapped out shit boxes with straight pipes and fart can mufflers that cause excessive drone. You can carry a conversation at highways speeds. This system is perfect. It makes the 5UR motor ound aggressive on throttle, but nothing like a clapped out hillbilly truck.
Dirty Deeds Industries with the 8" BA Muffler. Credit to the sound of the Flowmaster Super 10 at the end tho, its similar. But you could be losing back pressure with the dual out. I'm open to correction if I'm wrong about that.
Couldn't agree more. I've been running the 8" BAM setup since October 2020 and have been trying hard to find something I don't love about it. (Edited the year as I do not yet own a functional time machine)
I Agree I joined Tundras.com forum and researched exhausts and everyone was praising dirty deeds BAM exhaust. Just installed mine recently and not only had improvements on sound but gained a few extra MPG and horsepower. “Budget Dump” on a 2007 Tundra Limited.
I have a 2007 tundra I am curious which exhaust gives the most power gain. and I am looking to get long tube headers as well any information will be appreciated thanks in advance
I just has a Flowmaster series 40 put on my Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Custom today, not to load, just right, converters left on have 2, no resonators on my exhaust, they just removed the muffler and flapper and welded a extension..I like the sound
I’ve been a Toyota fan for years now and made a mistake in buying my Ram 1500. The best thing I’ve done was adding a Corsa sport exhaust. When I trade my Ram in for a tundra I’ll be going with a Corsa exhaust in that also. Absolutely no drone, stainless steel and 4.5 tips. Best sounding exhaust I’ve ever heard. I’ve had Flowmaster, Borla , MBRP and now Corsa. Corsa hands down the best
I have the best on my 2018 Teeyota Platium. Factory true duel TRD exhaust with TRD chrome turnouts behind each rear wheel. Best looking and sound of Teeyota trucks.
Liked the sound of the 14 inch magnaflow on the video. I had one put on my 2020 tundra. It sounds great until you get up to 70 miles an hour, then it becomes very obnoxious. It's all I can hear in the cab with the Windows up. Can't stand it I will never spend my money on magnaflow again. Stick with flowmaster
How do I get a low rumble without drone or raspy sound? Dual in with larger single out? I don’t want to hear it cruising on the highway but I want it to sound like a truck. The flow master sounds ok at idle but too whiny/raspy for my liking???
I came here to see if I would hear anything better than the TRD Duals. I did not. I guess ill be sticking with them. The single out flowmaster sounds the most similar to the TRD duals but doesn’t look as nice.
Wow that one side in the first tundra 18” was almost touching the spare tire . I bet he will have a flat melted tire . I wouldn’t want mine that close but great job and videos
Hard to pick . I like them all. Neighbors might not like me warming up the truck at 430/5 in the morning. Does messing with the factory backpreasure affect the engine in anyway? I always wondered that.
I love the outlaw ❤. Deeper than a jag, perfect for the truck. the regular super 10 is not bad either. read a comment that said they rust though for some reason.
True Dual is NOT 2 pipes into 1 muffler out to 2, True dual is what I did, dual off the engine manifold to 2 flowmaster FlowFX out the back on a 45 behind the rear tires, its DUAL from FRONT to BACK
I am going to do the Dual in single out on my 5.7 2104 Tundra. I see you listed the muffler (thanks!!). But which tip is being used? Any help is appreciated!
I liked the dual in, single out magna flow the best.
@@tmr8193 LMAO
Kinda quiet for a V8. flowmaster brings out the true sound of it almost similar to V8 muscles to be honest.
Only in a yota would you upgrade ur muffler at 170k miles
Because they are usually the only ones still MOVING at 170k miles
I was thinking the same thing. Put a magnaflow on mine at 130k. Still rolling like the day I drove it off the lot now w 292k.

In 210k for my taco
Straight piped mine at 60k
The #2 14" Magnaflow dual in single out sounds perfect, deep tone without raspy sound 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I like raspy
I like low bass rumble no raspy sound if that make sense
that magnaflow dual in single out is perfect.
First one was the best one of all. Clean sound.
I agree, first one was perfect
That single out dual tip one was plenty enough for me
Super 10 dual in/out at the end for sure!
Agreed! Can't wait to get mine.
my friend as one
It's easily the best imo
No contest.. Super 10 all the way.
Magnaflow sound amazing
What a great series, right to the point with great comparisons. Nice work.
Which muffler tends to drone less, mine drones at 70 with a Flowfx. Would you recommend resonators to eliminate drone?

Video ?
Nice video. Finally one that gives good detail on setup and sound comparison. I really liked the dual into single, not raspy up top!
#2 is probably my favorite but I like the side exit behind the tire.
The dual to single 14” sounded the best imo - deep rumble was nice
I did Banks Exhaust on my 2017. I love the sound along with the S&B CAI.
i love the "cant pass emissions, we can help" sign lol
are u from the south? because i always end up saying teeyota too lol. oreilly's guy was like, a what??
Oh man that 2007 sounds killer. That's the exact truck I have so now I know what I want for an exhaust....
Dirty Deeds Industries with the 8" BA Muffler. Credit to the sound of the Flowmaster Super 10 at the end tho, its similar. But you could be losing back pressure with the dual out. I'm open to correction if I'm wrong about that.
The 4 cats that are being left on will give all the back pressure you will ever need !!
@@bennett53446wrong a 2 into 1 will make more power than true dual
Respectfully you guys should check out the dirty deed exhaust there are many different combinations and trims hands-down the best
That guy knows his stuff about tundras

I got two flowmaster super 44's sounds my tundra sounds real good with em
I got two Super 10s installed on my TRD Pro a couple days ago
Awesome video!!!!! Tundras are underestimated but those who know trucks will agree that pound for pound it’s a force to reckon with.

No more v8 on the tundras. V6s sound like shit with exhausts done
@@MatthewSmith-uf6tr sad really. The naturally aspirated V8 that lasts for 20+ years is now gone.
The hemi with a corsa sounds amazing. I had a corsa extreme on my challenger but sold the car. Tundra next
What's the exact name series of that Magnaflow muffler on that 4th Tundra? Thanks.
On magnaflow systems 15304 and 15367 maybe there’s another way to find muffler by itself
Flowmaster super 10 it is!
I had a 2012 With a dual in single out flowmaster and it sounded awesome to too loud not too quiet.
Do you have a Tundra 5.7 with a Borla dual set up?
Magnaflow > Flowmaster Looks like you guys can really bend pipe. Well done!
#1 is my favorite
I have the bolt on Gibson Metal Mulisha exhaust single outlet on my 2012 v8, and It sounds better and meaner than all of these..Imo
That dual in single out magnaflow
Magnaflow dual to single 👍🏻

Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the info and the sounds helps out a lot!
I have a 4.6 Tundra with 284,000 mls I'll be putting cold air induction and 2 in one out cat back exhaust.
May you put the link for all the exhaust or at least for number 2 one please. Or can someone do it. Much appreciated
Have you done a video on the AFE mach 1 system for the tundra?
Great video thank you. Keep up the great work.

Dual in single out w/ double tip is the best very deep sound.
Do you know what double tip was used by chance? I can’t find it
I just sawed the damn thing off and the best muffler I have is the one not on my truck. On a side dump too
Km km
Gibson metal mulisha dual inlet 4 inch single out.. has drone but it only equals the howl of the tires on the highway.
Thanks brother! Short magna flow it is👍🏻
The tundra's don't sound as deep as the domestic trucks. Is that because of the smaller exhaust diameter?
I like the 4” magnaflow sound the best. It seems to suit the truck better.

I like the FLOW MASTER SUPER 10 OUTLAW
Flowmaster Super 10 duel in, duel out ! Sweet! I know what I am going with !
Have you installed exhaust from stainless works? Curious what you think of their line of exhaust.
They make very good headers.
