    Even if I already know the answer to whatever topic you´re discussing (doesn´t happen often, but this time it actually did lol), I still watch every video of yours. The reason is that I really like the way you explain things and in the best case, I still might learn something new, even though I know the general difference.

    This is why I LOVE the Korean language so much!
    All the nuances and rules to ensure what the speaker is saying is clear to the listener.
    Never thought that a foreign language would improve my own mother tongue and make me a better English speaker.
    Thanks Billy :-)

    한국인인데 여기서 한국어 다시배우는중ㅋㅋㅋ
    외국분들이 배우는 방식으로 보니 확실히 다르네요
    몰랐던 부분들도 많이 알게되고 좋습니다!

    Thank you, this was very useful! As a beginner to the language I find nuance in Korean is 어렵다 but not 힘들다!

    Learned 힘이 들다 from your beginner course. Was really confused about these 2, thanks for explaining!

    What about 열심히? Could it means both? Or there’s a difference between them? -help-

    • @GoBillyKorean
      @GoBillyKorean  2 года назад +4

      That's unrelated, and is only "hard" in expressions like "work hard" or "study hard." 열심히 means "diligently."

    Billy, would Koreans ever use these verbs together, like 힘들고 어려워요? One time a few years ago I was having a largely google-translate-intermediated conversation with a Korean (I know) and something was described as ‘hard and hard (as in difficult).

    • @GoBillyKorean
      @GoBillyKorean  2 года назад +1

      Yeah, you can use them together since they're slightly different.

      My book series teaches all of those, as well as 안타깝다. But I don't have a separate video about it.

    한국말은 억양이 없다~ 그리고 존댓말에 눈치껏 요!만 붙이면~힘든건 결국! 내가 왜? 짜증나는 한국말을 배워야해? 노력할 이유가 없는거지~그저 좀만한 나라 말을 내가 왜? 배워야~귀찮은거~그러니 싫고 짜증나지~
