Wow, I love the way you sumarized this topic at 11:50 , really helps anyone who still is hesitant or has any doubts 🥰🥰🥰 Jokes aside, it's really cool to see this kind of content about Korean, I guess it's something that often gets forgotten to be taught, but it can cause some confusion when you see a word spaced in a different way you learned in your classes (I'm looking at you numbers and counters written together, I never knew which one was was the correct way)

Thanks! I am just starting out and realized I almost need the old-school kindergarten lined pages with boxes so that I can practice my Korean writing. In Special Ed we actually had paper with crayoned-on boxes so the visually impaired students would feel when they went out of the boxes. 😂 Thanks for these videos!

마다 is a word/particle I'm never sure about whether to use spacing or not... there are others too but I can't think of them just now. And then there's 돌어가다/ 돌어 가다...I know they have different meanings but 헷갈린다
The video ended and I swear I sat here for five minutes staring into space trying to understand. Not because of your explanations, but rather because holy crap that's complex. I think I'm still too much of a beginner and will save this video to watch later when I've learned a bit more!

I have been learning to read and write using 'typewritten / print' hangul characters but I was wondering if you knew of any material on styles of handwritten (cursive) Hangul?

I'm not at all familiar with their relationship so I can't tell you the reason for their style of speaking. But yes, one common situation is if you're very close with someone else like dating couples. Or if you're playing a character, and not a real person.

In the US, when writing checks we also write all of the numbers in full letters.
