Just to add to your excellent points, when describing anything that shows progression from left to right, I make sure that I'm gesturing to the audience's left and right. From the speaker's perspective it may seen backwards, but it makes it easier for the audience to follow your story.

very helpful video, I have a speaking part in our christmas play at church standing alone, now I can practice at home and instead of just moving my hands up and down I have practiced letting my hands and arms, one at a time, relating one for behind me for the pasts and the other for the future lifting both up for praising God and lowering them for the meek and lowly, pounding one down for executing justice and lifting both to be said high and lifted up, also moving my body from side to side as a jesture of going and comeing. Thanks for the lesson!

There are also some very funny South Indian hand gestures..
1) Making a thumbs up and pointing backwards and shaking while asking someone about something with aggression.
2) Pointing the index finger at someone and shake it heavily for to make a threatening gesture.
3) Open up your palm with all the fingers wide open and twitch it to communicate that something is not available. 😂
