We’re in a weird spot with all these players that are clearly top 10/20 range like plup, leffen, llod, and slug that don’t come to enough to be active and ranked but make it feel a little weirder to rank the people they do beat

His major win and really good record vs Cody def carries his rank. 4-1 on the 2nd best player is pretty big. I'd say he deserves it.
@@TheWagn156 Wins on Cody are soooooo good right now, HBox and Mango get a lot of mileage on the competition because of it.
It also helps that Mang0 won the most stack tournament of the year and he pick it up big time at Pat’s house 4 were he got 2nd.
Mang0 still have a shot for #1 but is extremely hard compare to Cody and Zain

Llod and Morse haven't gone to enough and probably won't be on the Summer rankings.
And for Junebug this was recorded before Patchwork so not only was he lacking his best performance of the year, but he also didn't meet the "2 majors 2 regionals" rule that Cody had for ranking players for this. And even including Patchwork I personally wouldn't have Junebug top 20. His Tipped Off and Collision runs just aren't really top 20 material imo, in a way he kinda suffers from a similar problem to Magi and Krudo in that his regional performances are really good but his performances at Majors leave a lot to be desired.
have you considered trying your falcon in a tournament setting yet, cody? maybe try falcon vs Hbox, or practice falcon at small tourneys.

Why would Cody try Falcon against Hbox? Since 2021, Cody is up on Hbox 11-5. Both of Cody's losses on Hbox this year were at Collision, which while I don't want to take away from Hbox's wins, make it seem like it's more of a fluke than a thing of Cody just losing to Hbox. Switching from Fox to Falcon against Puff for a player Cody historically beats is very silly

mango beats u all the time and plup won 50% of the tournaments he enters so the fact that he isn't even ranked on here shows unsubtle bias tbh
You're braindead. Mango having a good matchup vs Cody means nothing when he has a losing record vs Amsa, Jmook, Moky and an OMEGA losing record vs Zain. Morsecode wasn't magically the best player last year and neither was Moky just because they had winning records vs Cody, because a good record against one player doesn't matter nearly as much as a good record against most players.
Also plup has gone to a single event all year, wtf are you talking about?
This is not Cody being biased, it's you not having the slightest clue of how rankings work.
Plup goes to 2 things all year and mang0 has like 2 tournaments where he outplaced Cody.
Cody's requirements are based on activity and Plup just doesn't make the cut with such a small arsenal of tourneys.
