There are industry standard dB levels for music, voice over (vo), and sound fx, etc. Look them up and use them as a guide, it'll immediately make your videos appear more polished. RUclips may have it's own recommendations, I can't remember, but it doesn't hurt to be aware of "broadcast" standards.

He needs to consistently be playing tournaments with a high win rate. And then the 3 norms. That could take a year if he is perfect. But 2 is more realistic. And these kids are getting better in quicker time. It’s difficult to say at this stage.

Being good at chess does not correlate with intelligence, it doesn't even correlate with IQ. It just means you played a lot and have some propensity for the game

Magnus cheating is different, whenever he does his little fun streams that go off the rails a bit its still a huge boost to the game of chess. Whenever real cheaters do their shit its always disgusting and hurts the game in the worst way possible.

I use to cheat and Ive heard many misconceptions such as "cheaters have to take 2-3 seconds for each move" which is not true. Arrows pop on the screen immediately showing the top three moves with different colors signifying which is the best move and u just drag where the piece where you want. You can wait extra seconds to give the computer time to think which helps against other computers, but usually less than a second is enough to beat most gms.
cheaters take a consistant time it doesn't have to be 2-3 seconds. Since you don't need to think you make a move in roughly the same amount off time (move a piece the way the arrow tells you) and if you try to fake it you don't know on which moves it's logical to take more time since your mind is not in the game at all
Others said it but yeah it's either a program/browser extension as other said, or it's just fully a trained robot: what Hikaru was playing is an example of that where it just played automated moves every set amount of seconds.
Cheaters never win and winners never cheat. Some people were taught by computer chess boards that you can use and play with. I had one for Christmas in 1990!
There's a famous overwatch clip of a bunch of pros on same team and the enemy team is same rank but all aim-bot hackers, like insta-dead when they see you. It's amazing they make a super shield with a machine gun basically (bastion) at center and win still.
The bastion was the only aim-botter, the team was randomly assigned to each other and the cheating team lost that game. You'd better be re-watching the video again xD

I played at high 15 to mid 1600 level for a long time, then I started trying to improve and I expected to go down a bit, in rating , I dropped steadily 300 points, and I never recovered ,even though I feel like I actually play better now. I eaither get scalded over 1 bad move for the rest of the game, or they have 7 minutes left on their clock in a 10 minute no inc game and I run out of time, it' s disgusting, I have zero idea of why you would cheat playing for fun, but the majority do. Also if you get the white pieces , the new cheaters can't deal with it and abort. I am just going to start playing my chess engine on different players and stop live play except otb

I just dont get this at all. GM's are supposed to be accurate players right? I mean very accurate. Why would they not want to face cheaters? Cheaters use bots right? Like stockfish etc. and bots are prone to horrible blunders. Why do they not just want to play bots insyead of others players?
