I have a 2015 with 230k and still going strong. The majority of the repairs I made on the vehicle were because of two accidents. New rotors because I'm driving like a mechanic, I had to remake the original alternator, replace the ac condenser and compressor and reinstalled new front sway bars because I hit a mattress on the highway, which also caused a slow leak on my ac condenser that led to problems with my ac compressor. The car is a good so I got the 2020 one.

I just 81,000 on my 2015 Camaro V6. Only issue i had is the Air Conditioning failing. And thats super expensive. Cost me $1,500. But everything else i replaced brake fluid, transmission fluid, rear differential fluid, brakes, regular oil changes.
Only thing left to change soonish is the power steering fluid, cooling fluid. Then the car is essentially solid for the next 50,000 miles.

I have a 2013 Camaro LS (v6) with 384,000 miles. It's been parked for the last 9 months or it would have wound up another 10k per month since then. 3 sets of front wheel bearings (easy/inexpensive), new suspension front and rears around 320k (inexpensive), and at 384k it needs a new dual mass flywheel and clutch ($500). A deer ran into the car, so it's currently parked until I get the clutch and body work scheduled. Around 300k miles, the alternator gave out. I also replaced the starter and battery at that time. The lumbar support gave out in the drivers seat early on, but still comfortable. Otherwise, I expect it to go through 500-600k miles on this v6 engine. I change the oil every 10-12k miles since new, it's done just fine. Mobile 1 synthetic.

      ruclips.net/video/SnyTvUnS07A/видео.html
There's a link to my clutch and dual mass flywheel replacement. At the end, I threw an image of the mileage showing 372k miles for a 2013 Camaro LS v6. It's definitely a great car and runs like new now, I think this engine will go for 500k easily or more. I change the oil every 10-12k miles. Mobile 1 synthetic every time, 15k formula. It has started to burn a quart of oil every 8k miles now, so the rings might be getting a bit worn. I don't baby it at all.

Passenger sensors are atrocious on these. 300 bux for the part only. Luckily I have a son thats a mechanic. So no worries there. No transmission woes at all. Although I kind of wish it was an automatic. I'm not a teenager any longer and am lazy, so I hate shifting. Other than that , great car, no other issues. Great review. Thanks...

Well, I have to admit this video is part of the reason I got my 2014. And I am beyond impressed with the cars build quality, and I'll say I planned on keeping it stock... Buuuut, thats not gonna happen so reliability is no-longer a concern as the engine/transmission/suspension is all getting ripped out and thrown in my 88 Dakota, because why the not? lol But anyway the car is beyond what I expected it to be, so I feel confident building it to the moon and back! Anyone whos looking to get one, defiantly pull the trigger these cars are popular for a reason and the majority of them are very well taken care of because everyone who has one loves it.

I've had Borla ATAK on it for the past year and I just ordered my KOOKS headers. So next month is install and tune. Can't wait for more power!

      A. 97 - yes it does matter. Maintenance is important but everything wears out eventually. Many many things can go wrong on a car that have nothing to do with maintenance, especially modern cars with tons of electronics. An old car can get expensive to keep on the road.
But yes, you wont see 400k without a regiment. I have seen meticulously kept appearing cars die early for not being on top of oil changes.

I wanted to quickly comment on the "rattle" - and to folks that may be experiencing similar issue - I may have a solution. I had a similar problem my 2010 SS, and was beating my head against the wall going from shop to shop to figure it out. At the end, it ended up being a protective shield on exhaust that got bent when I bottomed out somewhere. And as you accelerate, at times the system flexes and vibrates against the shield.

    • @nickrod9526

2010 v6 118,xxx miles. Love the car front and back. Purchased with 73,000 miles on it 3 years ago. Purchasing a Car with any miles is always a risk. I got a great deal I couldn’t pass up and was given 3 year bumper to bumper/ rims and tires warranty at a Nissan dealership.. Their big mistake, my good purchase. Everything covered with just a signature luckily but had all hub bearings replaced couple months after purchasing. Ac repaired twice* rim cracked, causing tearing in tire no more than a month after I got the car. Biggest problem that is a known problem with that year is the timing. Had check engine for timing belt and cat at 96k miles. $2,000 repair covered, with the last and fourth hub bearing replaced at the same time also. I have the same exhaust as he does in the video, as well as cold air intake, black car with 5%tint. Cars a head turner for sure, from the murdered out look/ the exhaust note. Countless compliments. Would recommend it to anyone looking into purchasing a 5th gen. Blind spots are known, tint does not help one bit especially at night but you know your car you’re driving. Or should. Not bad at all once you get used to it
