Thanks a lot, turns out my timing chains have stretched and im just about to tear it all apart, wanted to do some research before going at it but it really seems like it has to be
@@traingp7Is it just for the heated seat harness/wires? The power seat wiring and harness should be fine? I have one, but I’ve owned it for barely 2 years, so I’m not sure. I rarely use the heated seat as it is, but I’ve used it in dire situations.
My 2011 Camaro v6 rs airbag sensor has been on for 6 years now, to fix is $900 and I noticed few of my friends having the same issues too. Chevy!!! This should’ve been recalled, what a scam! These are the reason why I never upgraded to a new Chevy. Rear speakers tattering still since I purchased the car brand new. No fix at all took to dealership 4 times. Timing chain replaced once$2,500 Catalytic converter both replaced once5 yrs ago , now the engine service light on saying replace them again. $1800 Wtf
You can always bypass that seat sensor. The airbags on the seat won’t work and didn’t work anyways but at least toy won’t have that stupid light. The bypass could be a small 2 ohms that cost Pennies
Heater went out cost 3000 and now it's coming on when it wants to hate to take it back to the dealership because they they keep my car for several weeks
I got a code P2176 indicating idle learning for the throttle control is needed, and needs to be initiated using a scan tool or possibly from a service mode button on the console. Is there one on a 2011 Camaro v6? Came up after trying start with a low battery, which apparently reset things. I may just try disconnecting the battery to initialize the idle learn if there's no service mode button.
so my 2014 ss, when im in low gearing 1st and 2nd the clutch sometimes makes metal grindy sound( not a lot but like verry faint) and also kind of through out 1st, than the shift 2 second too. after that all gears are fine and smooth. anyone might know what this is?
Could be syncros going bad in the transmission/could be you or the previous owner don't know how to drive stick and have been beating em silly...could be springs in the clutch going bad... or throw out bearing (doubt it).. 11 year old car when have you done maintenance on your Trans and rear end...how many miles...could be do for a new clutch, throwout bearing, Trans flush, rear end flush, master cylinder flush. It is an SS sports cars are like trucks maintenance is sooner and makes a hell of a difference!
Does it get worse/increase with speed? Have you checked things like your brakes? Maybe check out your driveshaft and rear axles and differential; and then change the gear oil in the rear diff while you’re at it.
@@Wafflecombo54 Sorry, that won't help you. Skip American made if you don't want garbage. Lazy workers, and greedy / cheap manufacturers. Better get a Toyota if you don't want junk.
I don’t know how you did this in less than 5 minutes with solutions but you did.
I like how the V6 Timing Chain is three whole chains, meanwhile the V8 just looks like a single bicycle chain.
Straight to the point advice brilliant

2010 2SS also prone for wires breaking on the heated seats. I got one. I know.
One of the reasons you never buy the first year of a new generation of car.

Can you tell me on how many miles you change the chain?

Transmission leak from bell shaft / torque converter?
Do you have a source to find rubber coupling for the driveshaft? I don't want to buy a whole new driveshaft yet.
5th gen 6spd here, you will not find it anywhere, only used on ebay. Save that money and buy an aluminum one from the driveshaft shop

Great video
I just got a 2012 Camaro ls and it shuts off and won’t crank back up but outta no where cranks likes nothing wrong it’s pissing me off
Heat soak on your starter. Needs a 0 gauge ground wire from starter to bare metal.
Check all your grounds. Especially the ones for the pcm. A bad ground will have you running in circles trying to diagnose an intermittent issue.
I like how everything is basically replace oem with aftermarket 😭 so stock is shit pretty much
You lost me at “active fuel management” - I stopped watching - that one problem is enough to keep me from buying one of these
It’s only on the automatic SS L99 engine cars. The LS3 manual cars don’t have cylinder deactivation thankfully lol I just picked one up
So basically stock is garbage and I shouldn't buy 1 thanks
Yeah man looks like a pain in the ass on the V6 definitely would get the ss
