My 2014 camaro v6 keeps going into limp mode with code p2138 and p2127. Ive already replaced pedal assembly, throttle body with sensor, and put in a new ECU and programmed it but I still keep getting limp mode. The code keeps popping up randomly after I remove it with my scanner sometimes it will last a day before or less before the code pops up again
pedal position sensor switch E has a low input. This looks to be a grounding problem, How is your battery? have it tested... You replaced about everything that is working around that trouble code. so LOOK at your body grounds, Thanks...

Have you checked your starter relay in your fuse box? You have to have a key in the door and unlock it 3 times back and forth to reset your anti theft.
2016 Camaro ss starts an idles for 5/10 seconds then says anti-theft then dies. Have & programmed new key starts the car up but doesn’t unlock doors. All keys lost.
Just say remove number five and number 20 fuse for 15 minutes to a half hour resets the computer in case you get bad gas and put it back to 91 tune if we pull out five and 20 fuse resets it back to 93 tune if that’s what you have
I have my camaro set for when i open the door after shutting engine off, the dash lights turn off right away, (i dont need them on for 30sec or 1 min etc..) but now when i open the door to get out they stayed on even though in the settings i have it set to have the lights off right away, what could this be?

I recently bought a 2012 Camaro with a 3.6 V6. The check engine light came on and the door ajar warning came one and stayed on. The alarm quit working and the drivers window wouldn't roll up. I replaced the door locking actuator and everything went back to normal but the window. I replaced the switch and it worked for a few minutes and quit. Now I'm back at square one. When the check engine light was on I took it to AutoZone and they said the ECM was bad. What can I do to fix the problem I'm having??
Just to verify I’m doing this right, I leave the key in the on position the entire time disconnect the power cable and remove those 2 fuses and leave it set for 15-30 min before connecting the power back?

Wow those are hard to figure out sometimes. Have you cleaned the throttle body in a while, may not fix it but just another thing that's not a problem. Those things cause so many problems but they throw codes also. Thanks
Based on your description, it seems like there could be a problem with the blower motor or the blower motor resistor 1. The blower motor is responsible for blowing air through the vents, while the blower motor resistor controls the speed of the blower motor. If either of these components is faulty, it can cause the blower to make loud noises and then shut off 1. what year model is your car.. thanks
I have see that problem before, check your throttle body. Clean or replace, if you have a tb you could try out from another car so you can know that's the problem. Thanks

I had codes for all my wheel speed sensors and I replace them today, but it was still seeing the codes and it also said incorrect immobilizer identifier received.

If I choose to do the reset with the negative cable on the battery in the trunk. The key should also be turned on to power correct ? Same as turning it on when doing the reset using the positive post under the hood.

Stumbled upon this video while searching for codes P0641 & P0068 solutions. I've already replaced the MAP sensor, MAF sensor, Gas Pedal, throttle body and im still getting these codes while the car goes into limp mode. I have noticed I'm able to move my negative battery cable on the terminal even though it's tightened down as much as I can. I find that odd as im not removing the cable so often that ahould occur. And honestly it strange how it occurs. I can drive my kids to school, drive to work, drive home for lunch, back to work, then go pick my kids up. But as soon as i pick them up and start making left hand turns the car goes into limp mode. It literally always happens in the same areas on the way home. I ran into this issues about 8 years ago and i ended up replacing the Throttle Body and that fixed the issue. However it hasnt this timr around. Any advice given would be appreciated if you ever do respond. Thanks!

You may have a short too ground those sensors are all on the same circuit meaning they share power and if one of them is grounding out they all lose power making you think it’s a bad sensor check over your engine harness for wear spots I suggest printing out the engine harness diagram

My 2010 SS 6MT threw a “AC off due to motor temperature”. I have a sct flash tuner to check the temps and everything is nominal. Plan on changing out the temp sensor but others have suggested resetting the ecu. Thoughts?
@@antoniowilson9855 i am almost 100% sure this issue is a software interruption caused by my SCT handheld. If I run the car without the flash tune, no problem. Its too bad my JLT short ram requires that tune to not run too lean. Yesterday the message came back on so i ignored it (i could not pull off the road and reset the ecu) and about 20 min later (the car now had a chance to reach op temps) the message went away and the gauges went back to normal. Anyways, i will get a professional tune once i bolt the headers on but until then, thanks for the input guys!
If I unplug my ECM plugs (2) will I mess anything up as far as programming...I want to do this to clean the connections. I'm getting a random starting issue. My 2010 3.6L will start but after fiddling with fuses.

For some reason everything is leading back to the fuse 26 (front windows) perhaps something is grounding out ...The car will start after awhile but no signs of deficiency or constant drowning crank...It will just turn on randomly that is why it always leads to fuse box or ecu for me.

Could doing this help with my blinker not working even after replacing entire tail light assembly? Blinker went out, we replaced and did upgrade and the blinker still doesn’t work. Checked the harness and the pin that matches turn signal isn’t lighting up with a test pen. Can’t seem to find a fuse that would be the problem so I’m wondering if resetting computer might help???

That is your sensors in your back bumper when you get close to something it will sound. I would just check and see if it's still working. May have a sensor you need to replace. You can get them from ebay or your local Chevrolet dealer. Thanks.

Well I have a weird problem that just started yesterday. I turn my car off and it stays on for a minute without the key in it? Why did you look up this video if you weren't all ready having a problem with your car? I said one or the other, remove the negative or positive power from your battery, wait 15 minutes and try it again. Also check your throttle body and clean it.

Hi, I have a 2010 Camaro SS that I’ve been fighting with a P0300 and P0205 codes for quite some time. I understand it to be a misfire from a code reader but have replaced all spark plugs and wires. Replaced cylinder 5 injector as well as the coil pack for cylinder 5. The car throws the codes after engine is warm and is driven for about 10-15. It seems like after the motor is warm on left hand turns or under heavy load I hear a misfire and it goes into LPM. Service stabiltrak comes on as well. Any insight you have on this is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
@@camaromodschannel unfortunately, cleaning the TB did not help in this instance. I drove the car about 10 minutes and CEL came on started flashing and the car almost stalled at a red light. Same codes being thrown. Any other thoughts as to what it might be? I know it may be a long shot, but the battery in the car is about 9 years old. I have read some forums where that could be a cause?! I’m reluctant on that thinking because it starts and idles fine until it’s up to temp and driving on the road. Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

Error Code P0698 is defined as Sensor Reference Voltage C Circuit Low, What the P2119 code means. This code indicates that the throttle valve is not in the position the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) expects it to be in What the P2176 code means. The P2176 trouble code indicates that the Engine Control Module (ECM) has detected that the throttle body actuator/motor has failed to learn the correct position at which the butterfly valve within the throttle body should be in order to produce a smooth idle for the engine.What Does the P2101 Code Mean? Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P2101 stands for Throttle Actuator “A” Control Motor Circuit Range/Performance. It is usually triggered when your vehicle's powertrain control module (PCM) detects that the actual throttle position does not match the desired throttle position. also make sure you have a good battery. I would try swapping the throttle body, and see if that helps, or get the computer that goes with that engine.and try that. thanks.
@@camaromodschannel yes indeed I have checked most of the DTC’s that I can read with my obd2 scanner and recently today replaced the throttle body with a cleaned out one but the same 4 codes pop up still,so would this be for sure a computer replacement situation or could I still salvage the one already hooked up by resetting it?
5th gen camaro, new starter and new battery, added grounds. Hot start issue which throws the stabilitrack codes. After cooling off it starts fine. Been happening for years. 😅. I really do wish I could find the fix.

On my 2010 Camero ,the mechanic cleared the couple amber lights such as tire pressure and traction control lights with the computer ,now the car runs rough.it will starts and cut right back off giving Throttle body code . I know it has to do something with ECM?

I will try this because my check engine light is on . The code said oil pressure sensor. I change it out had the mechanic clear the code out and drove it for about a week and now the dam check engine light is back on. I checked the oil it’s good Now I am at a lost to what it could be now. I had AutoZone put it on the code reader and it said engine oil pressure sensor range/ performance. I went and bought another new oil pressure sensor because I was thinking maybe the one I bought was bad also. So any way if this has happen to anyone or if anyone can help me I would be thankful. I have a 2015 Camaro Ls I crashed the got it fixed but the guy didn’t mount up my computer for the car. It fell and burned a few wires. I fixed the wires but car does not start. The key turns but the car is dead. Battery is good. Can’t find any fuses blown. Can I get some advice please
Sounds like you had a short and burned something up, you say its dead, and won't turn over? You need to get it to turn over before I would recommend getting another computer.
Sounds like something broke, not sure. Make sure your car is on level ground. Might be a micro switch in the shifter stoped working. Have you had trouble with your shifter before?
Not a code issue but I’ve been chasing a problem for awhile. Maybe you will have time to respond. Right brake and blinker out Left front blinker out. All bulbs are good Don’t seem to have power to the harness on the right rear that controls the brake and blinkers. All running lights are good
Funny thing is it’s just my blinker. All other functions work. Inside the harness it’s a 10 pin bc it’s an RS. On the pin that worked the turn signal I used a test light and it’s NOT lighting up. I don’t know where to start
I forgot that I posted this. Anyway I took the car to the dealership and although I checked every existing fuse on this car, even in the trunk they found that an entire fuse had fell from the fuse box. It was completely missing!!!!! They never found it but put one in the empty slot and I was back in business

Hello, How old is your Battery? sounds like you have some problems with your car. are you running at reduced Power? I think your sensors are fine, sounds like a power problem. Battery or bad ground. ect. Faulty CAN communication system, posible replacement. CAN System harness is open or shorted CAN System circuit poor electrical connection, Check your grounds. also check your throttle body any problems here can throw all kinds of codes.. Thanks. Roger

I have two check engine codes for the upstream o2 sensors i replaced them twice still have an issue. Delayed response it says. As 1500 rpm the car will jerk and hesitate on decel and light throttle but not on more throttle. Cleaned the maf sensor as well. Car is stock besides cold air intake and scoop no headers. Don’t know what to do to fix it. Freeze frame data for the 02 sensors will always show speed of 120 to 140mph when I wasn’t going that fast and will show intake air temp of 0’degrees or really cold when it’s summer out… also short term fuel trims are 29. My Speedo seems fine and outside temp gauge works what’s wrong?
How old is your battery? A bad battery can cause allot of problems. Or a bad ground. Hard to diagnose over the internet. May have to take it to a shop that can fix it. Especially if its not running right. Thanks

So my friend has a camaro... its randomly throwing a stabilitrak service light. It also will just randomly die while in drive. When he went to use his turn signal the vehicle locked it's doors. No turn signal came on. Just random electrical things. And it randomly happens so it's hard to get it looked at. No codes can be found. Unplugged both positive and negative cables to battery. Looked at the fuses they were fine. Sprayed the wheel sensors with air and the cold air intake with air. It just started a week ago. And his dad can't figure it out. Do you have any ideas?
Insert the key in the door lock all the way and then turn the key to unlock your car door, but don’t release it. You want to hold the key in the unlock position for twenty to thirty seconds. This lets the car recognize that you have the right key and will disengage and reset the system.
So what if I replaced the throttle body with new sensor and pedal position sensor and also replaced 02 sensors and did the reset and cleared the codes with handheld scanner and still get the same codes???

Pulled the positive cable from the hood , key forward , still have power to the car lights , and door ajar going off
You will have to pull the positive post off the battery to make sure you have no power. I don't know how you still have power. Thanks.

Any idea why when I turn on heat to the lowest setting the blower sounds like it's on high and then it shuts off? Seat warmers also won't come on.
Based on your description, it seems like there could be a problem with the blower motor or the blower motor resistor 1. The blower motor is responsible for blowing air through the vents, while the blower motor resistor controls the speed of the blower motor. If either of these components is faulty, it can cause the blower to make loud noises and then shut off 1. what year model is your car.. thanks

I had codes for all my wheel speed sensors and I replace them today, but it was still seeing the codes and it also said incorrect immobilizer identifier received.

If I choose to do the reset with the negative cable on the battery in the trunk. The key should also be turned on to power correct ? Same as turning it on when doing the reset using the positive post under the hood.

My 2013 v6 I get stabilitrak and then it misfires on cylinder 1. Runs rough. Also, sitting in park while it is running rough I put the accelerator to the floor to see if it would rev and it revs up and down on its own with peddle all the way down. What is wrong with this sob?

Stumbled upon this video while searching for codes P0641 & P0068 solutions. I've already replaced the MAP sensor, MAF sensor, Gas Pedal, throttle body and im still getting these codes while the car goes into limp mode.
I have noticed I'm able to move my negative battery cable on the terminal even though it's tightened down as much as I can. I find that odd as im not removing the cable so often that ahould occur.
And honestly it strange how it occurs. I can drive my kids to school, drive to work, drive home for lunch, back to work, then go pick my kids up. But as soon as i pick them up and start making left hand turns the car goes into limp mode. It literally always happens in the same areas on the way home.
I ran into this issues about 8 years ago and i ended up replacing the Throttle Body and that fixed the issue. However it hasnt this timr around.

You may have a short too ground those sensors are all on the same circuit meaning they share power and if one of them is grounding out they all lose power making you think it’s a bad sensor check over your engine harness for wear spots I suggest printing out the engine harness diagram

My 2010 SS 6MT threw a “AC off due to motor temperature”. I have a sct flash tuner to check the temps and everything is nominal. Plan on changing out the temp sensor but others have suggested resetting the ecu. Thoughts?
I would change out the temp sensor, you can reboot the ecu by disconnect the battery cable 15 min. If its normal i wouldn't worry about it. Thanks.

@@antoniowilson9855 i am almost 100% sure this issue is a software interruption caused by my SCT handheld. If I run the car without the flash tune, no problem. Its too bad my JLT short ram requires that tune to not run too lean. Yesterday the message came back on so i ignored it (i could not pull off the road and reset the ecu) and about 20 min later (the car now had a chance to reach op temps) the message went away and the gauges went back to normal. Anyways, i will get a professional tune once i bolt the headers on but until then, thanks for the input guys!

No it is an eprom chip that the code is burned on so as long as you don't short it out you will be fine. Just disconnect the battery. Thanks

For some reason everything is leading back to the fuse 26 (front windows) perhaps something is grounding out ...The car will start after awhile but no signs of deficiency or constant drowning crank...It will just turn on randomly that is why it always leads to fuse box or ecu for me.

Could doing this help with my blinker not working even after replacing entire tail light assembly? Blinker went out, we replaced and did upgrade and the blinker still doesn’t work. Checked the harness and the pin that matches turn signal isn’t lighting up with a test pen. Can’t seem to find a fuse that would be the problem so I’m wondering if resetting computer might help???

That is your sensors in your back bumper when you get close to something it will sound. I would just check and see if it's still working. May have a sensor you need to replace. You can get them from ebay or your local Chevrolet dealer. Thanks.

Why did you look up this video if you weren't all ready having a problem with your car? I said one or the other, remove the negative or positive power from your battery, wait 15 minutes and try it again. Also check your throttle body and clean it.

Hi, I have a 2010 Camaro SS that I’ve been fighting with a P0300 and P0205 codes for quite some time. I understand it to be a misfire from a code reader but have replaced all spark plugs and wires. Replaced cylinder 5 injector as well as the coil pack for cylinder 5. The car throws the codes after engine is warm and is driven for about 10-15. It seems like after the motor is warm on left hand turns or under heavy load I hear a misfire and it goes into LPM. Service stabiltrak comes on as well. Any insight you have on this is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I would clean the throttle body first thing. those TBs can cause so many codes by just being Dirty. and Service stabiltrak is one of them..Thanks

@@camaromodschannel unfortunately, cleaning the TB did not help in this instance. I drove the car about 10 minutes and CEL came on started flashing and the car almost stalled at a red light. Same codes being thrown. Any other thoughts as to what it might be? I know it may be a long shot, but the battery in the car is about 9 years old. I have read some forums where that could be a cause?! I’m reluctant on that thinking because it starts and idles fine until it’s up to temp and driving on the road. Any help is appreciated, Thanks.

Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P2101 stands for Throttle Actuator “A” Control Motor Circuit Range/Performance. It is usually triggered when your vehicle's powertrain control module (PCM) detects that the actual throttle position does not match the desired throttle position. also make sure you have a good battery. I would try swapping the throttle body, and see if that helps, or get the computer that goes with that engine.and try that. thanks.

5th gen camaro, new starter and new battery, added grounds. Hot start issue which throws the stabilitrack codes. After cooling off it starts fine. Been happening for years. 😅. I really do wish I could find the fix.
What codes you getting? The throttle body likes to throw them codes. Something you could try if you have one you could borrow.

On my 2010 Camero ,the mechanic cleared the couple amber lights such as tire pressure and traction control lights with the computer ,now the car runs rough.it will starts and cut right back off giving Throttle body code . I know it has to do something with ECM?
No a throttle body code is a throttle body. Do you have one you can swap it with? Another throttle body.

I will try this because my check engine light is on . The code said oil pressure sensor. I change it out had the mechanic clear the code out and drove it for about a week and now the dam check engine light is back on. I checked the oil it’s good Now I am at a lost to what it could be now. I had AutoZone put it on the code reader and it said engine oil pressure sensor range/ performance. I went and bought another new oil pressure sensor because I was thinking maybe the one I bought was bad also. So any way if this has happen to anyone or if anyone can help me I would be thankful. Sounds like you had a short and burned something up, you say its dead, and won't turn over? You need to get it to turn over before I would recommend getting another computer.

Sounds like something broke, not sure. Make sure your car is on level ground. Might be a micro switch in the shifter stoped working. Have you had trouble with your shifter before?

Funny thing is it’s just my blinker. All other functions work. Inside the harness it’s a 10 pin bc it’s an RS. On the pin that worked the turn signal I used a test light and it’s NOT lighting up. I don’t know where to start
I forgot that I posted this. Anyway I took the car to the dealership and although I checked every existing fuse on this car, even in the trunk they found that an entire fuse had fell from the fuse box. It was completely missing!!!!! They never found it but put one in the empty slot and I was back in business

are you running at reduced Power? I think your sensors are fine, sounds like
a power problem. Battery or bad ground. ect.
Faulty CAN communication system, posible replacement.
CAN System harness is open or shorted
CAN System circuit poor electrical connection, Check your grounds.
also check your throttle body any problems here can throw all kinds of codes..

Following up on this! Turned out to be a bad ground wire by the fuse box tightened her up and back at 100%!

I have two check engine codes for the upstream o2 sensors i replaced them twice still have an issue. Delayed response it says. As 1500 rpm the car will jerk and hesitate on decel and light throttle but not on more throttle. Cleaned the maf sensor as well. Car is stock besides cold air intake and scoop no headers. Don’t know what to do to fix it. Freeze frame data for the 02 sensors will always show speed of 120 to 140mph when I wasn’t going that fast and will show intake air temp of 0’degrees or really cold when it’s summer out… also short term fuel trims are 29. My Speedo seems fine and outside temp gauge works what’s wrong?
How old is your battery? A bad battery can cause allot of problems. Or a bad ground. Hard to diagnose over the internet. May have to take it to a shop that can fix it. Especially if its not running right. Thanks

So my friend has a camaro... its randomly throwing a stabilitrak service light. It also will just randomly die while in drive. When he went to use his turn signal the vehicle locked it's doors. No turn signal came on. Just random electrical things. And it randomly happens so it's hard to get it looked at. No codes can be found. Unplugged both positive and negative cables to battery. Looked at the fuses they were fine. Sprayed the wheel sensors with air and the cold air intake with air. It just started a week ago. And his dad can't figure it out. Do you have any ideas?

Insert the key in the door lock all the way and then turn the key to unlock your car door, but don’t release it. You want to hold the key in the unlock position for twenty to thirty seconds. This lets the car recognize that you have the right key and will disengage and reset the system.

So what if I replaced the throttle body with new sensor and pedal position sensor and also replaced 02 sensors and did the reset and cleared the codes with handheld scanner and still get the same codes???

What codes you getting? First thing I would check is the throttle body, get some throttle body cleaner and clean it good.

Appreciate your videos. Question...randomly getting check engine light, but OBD scanner often says "no codes". Yesterday while highway driving at 70 mph sudden misfire and a 0007 code...misfire went away...cleared code and car began running better than it has in months. Any ideas?
