Bought a new car last year. The first thing I did was remove all dealership stickers and license plate frames, etc. If they want to have their ads all over my car they can pay me.
I consider it a form of vandalism. I've always had my car purchases state in writing "no dealership stickers". They wanna give me a licence plate frame? Sure, I can remove that easily. But a sticker is sacrilege.
I like Dealer stickers! when I see a rusted out heap I can always laugh about it coming from the Rust Belt Salted road zone (mostly couple hundred miles either side of I-80 )

Come to Michigan,USA and there's no place un-sealed that is "rust free".3 years and a Shock Absorber needs shop tools to remove,.Mostly a Torch.An 'Exhaust System' is usually 1 piece after a winter.

@@fiffe7782 Yes, but we all know the *removing* the engine cover also provides +50hp, or all the car guys wouldn't do it. You can alternately add and remove the engine cover for infinite horsepower, btw. But you have to be careful of creating a rip in the space-time continuum.

Yeah I bought a Saab that lived it's life in Ohio. Rebuilding the entire suspension was hell. Half the nuts were rusted round and everything was seized on.
@@kirbyswarp Yup.. Brakes, suspension and exhaust are just horrendous. Unless you are in a bind and have no other option, I would never buy a used car from the rust belt if you plan on keeping it. Use carfax. It's not perfect but you can weed out the likely nightmares.

I've been watching this #CheapCamaro series and have been impressed about how you brought this beauty back to life. One thing I've noticed, or actually haven't noticed you doing is the the mod on the PCV system. If you don't do it you're going to find your now pristine clean heads all gunked-up with sludge again within about 30-40k miles. The GM 3.6 High Feature V6 are notorious for their heads gunking-up, which constricts oil flow and contributes to the timing chain / VVT / oil consumption issues. It's actually a simple mod where you enlarge the 3 holes on the PCV hose to valve cover connector (it looks like an old school PCV valve on the valve cover). While you're at it you might want to add a quality catch can to further aid in reducing the oil consumption issue. Look it up there are many tutorials for the mod online. Best of luck!

Best gauge upgrade ever! All cars should come with oil pressure, fuel pressure and voltage gauges. But then again, they make less money when your car lasts longer with proper maintenance.

The 2012+ V6 Camaros were rated at 323 horsepower at 6,800 rpm and 278 pound-feet of torque at 4,800 rpm. with the removal of the exhaust manifolds, changed MAF sensors and other components to boost HP.

A v6 Camaro with an ss package is still just a v6 Camaro. Sounds like a v10? I had a friend that had a v6 Fiero. He said it sounded like a Ferrari. I'm glad to hear your car makes you weak in the knees. Never really experienced that with a car. My other friend loved Nascar. He would get excited over a v8 with loud exhaust. There is just something about a large displacement engine. :)
This is a really great project. I love the gauge addition. Personally, I don't feel the exhaust is worth the price. It just sounds marginally better than the factory one
this was a good segment JR, like the gauge package upgrade, can never have enough gauges and the exhaust was a good touch also...this should make a great choice for someone wanting a Camaro and not needing all the HP and maybe someone who can grasp the need for routine maintenance unlike the previous owner of this car..I still can't wrap my head around that....lol
I own 1993 Ford Sapphire GLX with uprated V6. The sounds are awesome. So addictive sound. Couldn't match other V6..... It makes my knees weak. The exhaust system is Doug Wallace exhaust system. Sounds great.

Seat belt light is the passenger seat and sometimes the drivers seat scales they need calibrated or replaced depending on your money situation its cheaper most times to just replace them in the rural areas
I would Sure wear eye protection when working on exhaust under the car, didn't 1 time so took a trip to the Opthamologist for rust in my eye and a scratch on my cornea. Cost double the price of the new exhaust. Glad you weren't hurt.
I like how everyone says, this sounds like VQ motor. It kinda does. But if you really think about it. Most (DOHC motors) sound like this. Not all....!!! Now if you want that sound of a V8 motor i.e. "that rumble sound." The only way your going to get that, is if your car has a (OHV motor) or what is known as a pushrod motor. For example the LS's/LT's of this world from GM or the Hemi's of this world from FCA i.e. Mopar/Dodge are some examples...!!! So... Love the video, can't wait for more...!!! 👍
Nice sound, but it doesn't sound like a V10. A six cylinder has more degrees of crankshaft rotation per cylinder firing than a V10; therefore the optimal cylinder bank angle on a V6 would be 60 degrees or 120 degrees, whereas a V10 would be 72 degrees or 144 degrees. So it can't sound like one no matter what exhaust you install. But I like it!

Cars have little rust, if any, around Wichita. It gets only a minimal amount of Salt in winter. Above I70 is Rusty, above I80 is insane rusty

I like how everyone says, this sounds like VQ motor. It kinda does. But if you really think about it. Most (DOHC motors) sound like this. Not all....!!! Now if you want that sound of a V8 motor i.e. "that rumble sound." The only way your going to get that, is if your car has a (OHV motor) or what is known as a pushrod motor. For example the LS's/LT's of this world from GM or the Hemi's of this world from FCA i.e. Mopar/Dodge are some examples...!!! So... Love the video, can't wait for more...!!! 👍

Nice sound, but it doesn't sound like a V10. A six cylinder has more degrees of crankshaft rotation per cylinder firing than a V10; therefore the optimal cylinder bank angle on a V6 would be 60 degrees or 120 degrees, whereas a V10 would be 72 degrees or 144 degrees. So it can't sound like one no matter what exhaust you install. But I like it!

Sounds pretty good. Much more throaty. I like how quick the gauge pack went in. Try doing that with a '69 Camaro!
