I'm gonna suggest a show on the blues driver itself. If the tubescreamer can get its own show, the blues driver is also worthy. You can talk about the various popular mods, the stock version, waza craft version, its various uses like the great near clean playing from mick at the beginning of this video, and you can honk for Andy Timmons throughout the episode.
you probably dont give a shit but does anyone know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb forgot my password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me
@Colin Ashton Thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Geez, Mick just killing it during the intro. And I love how Dan totally is memorized. So cool to see how you guys mutually are fans of one another. Great video as always guys!
By the way I love how this video is an in-depth review of a pedal, with comparisons and has a bit of a tutorial feel to it! The longer format of your show really works with an in-depth review like this! Love it!
Micky 2112 me too. Was listening to one of his albums only yesterday thanks to the horn. May not have tickets to see Steven Wilson at the RAH next march if it wasn’t for the horn too...
I've been trying to think of how to phrase it without sounding like a back handed compliment, but your playing lately has been extra tasting. Like you've found a new level and are stretching your proverbial wings into a cloudless sky.
Did anybody look inside or get some confirmation from Boss that this pedal is still two analogue drives in one? I fear boss made more than the switching of pedal order to be digital based on the current draw of the pedal.
+MetObsessed What are you on about? 50mA is entirely believable for two analog drive circuits being run into an analog summing circuit (e.g. the standard BD-2 draws 20mA by itself, and the LS-2 draws 25mA by itself).
You guys has been my teachers for quite a while... such a good taste of tones, techniques and sense of humor. Playing guitar is my hobbie, but you guys made me a better player for the last year just by watching your show! Cheers! :)
That pedal sounds massive and combines two immense pedals together!! Genuinely shocking how good it actually sounds and very excited to purchase one myself!! Only just got into the blues driver and it is immense as a solo boost, but this is just a killer combination!!
As soon as I got cell data back, you guys were the first channel I went for. You made me crack up for the first time in a week after Hurricane Maria destroyed half of my house up in the mountains of Puerto Rico. Thanks for all you gentlemen do. The world is a better place.
Thanks for asking. Yes, family and friends all ok. On Tuesday, I shuttered my place and moved to my mom's so that I could help her out and take refuge from the storm. Good thing I did because the winds were so strong in the highlands that a narrow wall of the house was hinged open. From that moment on, the force of the winds blew open the roof structure as if an explosive charge had been placed in the living room. Miraculously, the other half of the house held and 99% of my belongings were in perfect shape. I am one of the very few fortunate ones. On Friday 22nd, I heard over the only AM radio station that was left standing that Road 156 was "open". So I decided to head up on Saturday. The farm looked as if it had been bombed, but as the initial shock faded a bit and I walked into my house by the collapsed wall I noticed something remarkable. My grandfather's classical guitar that hung on that same wall, had been gently placed on the ground and was in perfect shape. Did not even break a string. I took that as a very good omen. As I write this, it has been 10 days since the hurricane, and I just noticed that all the trees that I can see from here, have little green shoots coming out of the branches that survived. So the takeaway from all of this is that as long as we are alive, everything can be rebuilt. Perhaps we should repurpose that oft quoted saying: keep calm and pedal on.
Ramón Gómez Aponte That is touching and please don't think I meant this sarcastic in any way. I sincerely hope you can rebuild your home to a satisfying level. I can't do anything for you and Puerto Rico, since I am on the other side of the pond. Thoughts go out to you, your family and those in need. Thoughts and some coins I have.
I spent years thinking the only overdrives for me were various incarnations of a tube screamer but on the recommendation of this channel I bought a blues driver this week and I am never looking back!
+Chris Wills Mick and Dan have long espoused the Blues Driver: check out their three-part “Ultimate Overdrives” series, which they made in collaboration with Guitarist Magazine (you can find it in my “That Pedal Show” playlist).
+Chris Wills Cheers Chris, and Rob. One of the main inspirations for the D&M Drive was to have both styles in one box. Not exact clones - far from it - but both ballparks. They’re so complimentary.
Hey dan and Mick. I doubt you remember me, but I was the guy asking about the AC15 taking pedals well. I am happy to say that I have bought one and I love the tone. It completes my rig and sounds fantastic with my HOF, plimsoul, EP booster, and it, perhaps surprisingly, sounds great with a golden brownie! Cheers guys!!
The AC15 completed my sound. I tried a bunch of amps and never thought I wanted a Vox until I tried one because I thought they were too harsh on their own, but it sits in a mix like nothing else for me.
AC15 is the best amp under a grand. It can get boomy and muddy with pedals unless you leave a bit of headroom, or unless you plan for that compression with something like an treble booster or klon/clone like a tumnus.
Hi, I'm Frank, and I'm a pedal addict... thanks to Dan and Mick! Jeez, I've just gotten past the seed planted on Joey Landreth's last visit- by ordering both a Jesse Davey "Duellist" and "Vintage Fuzz"... and now you bring this little beast on the show! Gotta say, this "Angry Driver" has some very cool tones in it! Also, really enjoyed some of the panel discussions from GuitCon this past week. You gentleman represented the pedal community proudly
I'm watching this while changing strings to my Strat...Mick, you always sound great, but I have to say...you must be in a really good shape here, because you sound amazing! Thank you both for your amazing work!
Keep the horn fellas! Have to say that you guys are the only pedal show I recommend to our students at Passion Academy. Thank you and keep up the good work.
+Gummmibaer Wr has w wonderful time. Massive kudos to Henning Pauly, Mr Wilfer and everyone at Warwick for the fantastic hosting... and indeed the vision for doing something different. :0)
First of all, definitely keep the horn. Second, just want to thank you guys for such great and informative videos that also keep things fun. Took the plunge last week and got my first pedal board along with a Blues Cube Hot and have been really enjoying it. Went with a Mini Wah>Electric Mistress>Soul Food>OD Glove>Canyon Delay>Hall of Fame Mini to start with for pedals and it's been a blast experimenting with different combinations. I've definitely got the bug now and the Angry Driver looks amazing as a possible addition at some point.
The upper mids and compression on the Guv'nor, especially with any chord or multi-tone thing, is so impressive and valve like. They really nailed that combination of sag/compression/harmonics
On that note - I just picked up an analogman KOT (finally, wait was up) and courtesy of this shows information, and that pedal does that too. It really splits difference between pedals that work for a sound and pedals that work for YOUR sound
The Xoctic BB plus also allows A into B or B into A and separate controls for hard or soft compression on each side also and that's been out for a long while Awesome show guys \m/
Oh yes! That’s been my main distortion for years so I just picked up an Angry Driver to compare! I love my BB Plus, but it tends to be pretty noisy so I’m hoping to get the same tone with this but cleaner.
Thanks so much for this show. I added the Angry Driver to my wishlist when it was announced a few weeks back. This video convinced me to move it up higher on that list. Cheers!
Another GREAT vid! I know you've already done a video for the Electron Analog Drive, but I think another one to see if it could come close to your all-time favorite boosts/drives/distortions pedals would be awesome. And....KEEP THE HORN!!!
Dan complains about the sound of a parallel drive with the gain up, followed by one of the greatest overdrive sounds I've heard on a demo. Dan: "Never mind what I said. That sounds awesome!" I agree!! Great pedal!
Seven years later and this pedal has proven its one for the ages. I think it’s gonna be my first drive pedal. I started on a katana and moved to a helix stomp, but I want to get some analog gain stage in there (not that the katana and helix aren’t wonderful in their own ways.) - I love both circuits and the parallel sounds really freaking awesome. I usually run parallel amps in helix for that reason. Two amps are better than one.
I think both of You guys played really really well on this episode. You seem fresh and inspired. JB-2 sounds great. And that old Guv'nor.....amazing....
Only recently came across the Blues Driver, and have to say,- something you confirm here,- I prefer it over all the MANY boutiques I've tried in the past decade. The only thing I've been equally impressed with are the Bondi Sick As(gold AND blue versions)and more recent Breakers. Not sure which will ultimately win out, but ,- sort of ironically here,- it's a rather pricey JHS that they'll be bumping.Interesting enough, I find my board condensing and becoming less dear, the more I learn and experience.
In case this helps anyone watching: I have a JB-2 and a non-modded regular blues driver as well as a Waza blues driver. In my opinion, the two blues drivers sound almost identical except the Waza one has an extra mode and a better buffer, which makes it sound slightly clearer when on, and invisible, to my ears anyway, when off. I think the blues driver side of the JB-2 perfectly nails the sound of the blues drivers, but I think the JB-2 has the better buffer. I can't comment on the accuracy of the angry charlie side, because I don't own an angry charlie, but I really like that side of the JB-2 and the two sides compliment each other well. :-)
I'm stunned by the sheer range of playable sounds the JB-2 can conjure. With both the Blues Driver and Angry Charlie sides on, plus the AC side dimed, you're getting into real Smashing Pumpkins territory. Modern pedals like this (along with the D&M drive) exhibit an immediacy yet functional flexibility that allow a player to construct very idiosyncratic sounds without diving into endless menus. Stomps that combine two distinct but interactive elements like this could sit at the very heart of a guitarists board and change the wider game in a subtle but profound way. Magic stuff. Plus, what you do with your horn is your own business. :-)
Mick - you have become a Really Incredible Guitar Player ( since the earlier episodes of TPS ). Really Tasty Guitar Playing. You 2 are so Amazing together. I Hope & Pray - This Show Never Ends. Love you guys & Enjoy every Informative episode. Keep the Horn ( be True to what made you this Successful, & so well liked ) . - Michael Caz - NYC -
The intro to every That Pedal Show: Tasty licks, fiddles with the pedals a bit, "Gary Moore" face, playing ends, pause... chuffed nod at each other and a polite compliment.
With what (I hope) they got paid to endorse that BOSS JHS POS... Hopefully they've removed the rubber bit and are snorting copious amounts of peruvian pink through it.
@@007Elvisofnazareth it sounds pretty good to me .... and they probably only got a few free pedals out of it (which they obviously need, for wallpaper!)
Mick, Dan, hellooo .... you have to not get rid of the horn 😊!!! Was fairly sure I wasn't going to buy the angry driver .... then you went & put the Boss BD2 > JHS AC & then parallel ..... damnnnnn !! 😮 ... thought we might have heard a bit the guv'nor 'still got the blues' at the end 😊
I was hoping you guys would do a demo of this an you did... 👍👍👍I was like a kid on Christmas when I received notification on this video... 😀😀😀...you guys said it best 20 minutes in "such a inspiring sound, Mick your fingers we're inspiring in this video... Bravo, an Dan your sound today... Man I thought Tom sholz,... Was there... Awesome video.... 👍👍👍Gotta get me one... 🔥 an the horn, has to stay it's ahmage to inspiration
Fantastic demo. Exactly what I wanted to see. I want to believe in Boss again, but I got really burned a few years ago with COSM, and the "never again" is difficult to overcome. Also, you need a t shirt: "All I need is horn. Horn is all I need."
I just snagged one of these this past weekend. Looking forward to messing around with it after work today or tomorrow at band practice. That parallel mode sounds great. Just what I'm looking for
I have 4 different rig/pedal set ups with each board having betreen 5-12 pedals. After injuring my back I can't do the "pedal stoop" and its also a good way to ding your guitar. I placed the largest board on a 3 ft table in front of my confie chair and tweak away. No more top of the head shots and all that bending over. U guys should try it.
I built a DIY Gov’nor after seeing it on this show. This week I bought a Waza BD after watching enough of your vids. Now this. Guess I need to work out a small mixer so I can get that parallel tone happening.
The JB-2 is absolutely brilliant, that parallel mode sounds incredible (great playing from both of you helps quite a bit make it shine btw) ! Interesting how Rabea's demo showed another (equally good side) of the pedal. And the Guv'nor...well, it's all over Still Got The Blues. Which in itself is reason enough to consider it a legendary piece of item. Still the best Marshall-in-a-box pedal ever produced, IMO.
Man that opening solo that Mick did sounded really good. Really nice straight up guitar tone. Best sound I have heard him use. Good playing too. I agree, "fine form".
I just have to say Mick! your guit-con hey joe rendition was brilliant! blew me away. well done. And Dan slapping the bass excellent seasoning! well done guys please pepper us more often with delicious live performances. cheers.
Can't believe with all that Marshall sound going on in the pedals and with the one sitting right behind you, and turned on, and an attenuator that you guys didn't compare the "Amp Cranked" to the pedals.....Especially since last week's show was about attenuators.....I mean C'mon.....Hahahaha....By The Way Keep the Horn I Love it and Love you guys❤️
I love parallel drive, especially for bass distortion. On my rig, I have a mid-pushed fuzz and a slightly mid-scooped overdrive in parallel, and the sound is huge
Cool, I love the Blues driver because it can be really clear and is great to be used as a boost to cut thru the mix. The Blues driver is also my secret weapon on my Acoustic board. I just took my TS off my electric board and replaced it with a Blues driver. Did that because Dan in one vid said he still had it on his board. It just works. I stack it with an OCD if I need more. Really interested in this video of combining a couple of your favorite pedals into one.
Great playing & sounds gents (as always), the parallel mode on that JB-2 is something special for sure! Time to get onto Mr Keeley & see about a D&M Drive V2 with parallel ability 😉 Also, DO NOT GET RID OF THE HORN. Mount it! 📯
Original Guv’nor seems to have (excuse the ‘technical talk’😏) a plexi style rasp when pushed that the others don’t duplicate. They seem to go more to fizz.... Must disclose that I have own 2 Guv’nors and haven’t played the others. Great show as usual!
I have an old Boss dual drive pedal which is laid out in the same way as the Angry Driver with the concentric knobs and remote switch. Don’t know whether the sounds are similar but it seems familiar to me.
The horn is a kind of an acoustic hyperlink mark to almost allways good music I would probably not come across without your show. And without the honk I would not take note of the names in all the great information coming across. Definitely keep it! For the sensitive ears and pets you could insert an old trumpet or sax damper.....
Visual Sound / Truetone was doing their V3 dual pedals (which they helped popularize in the 90's in the first place) with the switchable order feature 5 years ago. No one noticed, because no one ever gives them a fair shake. Funny to see so much of what they already did "trending" so often.
I love this kinda episode: I can pedal-geek out, thoroughly enjoy the episode, but I don’t come away wanting to buy anything new. That’s pretty handy since this week I already blew more money than I have for any of the foreseeable future on half-a-guitar and a massive sack of bits from the US of A to complete it. 😝
As a suggestion, try the Sarno EarthDrive, compare it with Klon or BD-2. I think the ED is fantastic and there are very few reviews online. Keep up with the great work, we are amazed of how good you are. cheers!
That parallel mode is killer! I could see running the JHS side a little hotter and the Blues Driver almost clean with more volume, to give you some edge without losing your fundamental! Also, when Mick picked up that Telecaster my brain exploded.
JHS has also done a collaboration pedal with Keeley called the Steak and Eggs. It's an Angry Charlie on one side and I think one of Keeley's overdrive pedals on the other. I'm not sure which one, though.
Great show as always, guys! Really love the sound of the parallel mode on that Angry Driver. Could you maybe do a show on parallel sounds using a Boss LS-2 or something? You could try different drives, compressors, etc, in parallel with each other and see if you find some interesting results. And while we're on the subject of show ideas, I know you guys are very much guitar-centric, but any chance you could do a show on effects for bass and some things to look out for when designing a bass pedalboard? I'd guess you'd want to get in an actual bassist as a special guest to help, but I'd love to hear both of your opinions on what makes a good bass tone. Cheers Mick, Dan & Simon!
I thought that parallel mode was the only inspiring sound from that pedal and makes for a great rhythm sound. Otherwise I prefer the flexibility that the three band eq On the AC v 3 offers. Cheers guys, thanks for doing that.
Any chance you guys would do a dedicated Vox video? I'm mad on my AC15 (and pretty much every other Vox I've played), but would love to get you guys' perspective on how to EQ them/what pedals they take well, and potentially some Vox-style drives? (Wampler comes to mind). Thanks! Great show as always!
Just wanted to add that I dig that idea. Maybe do some amp-centric episodes. Have an episode on Fender, Vox, Marshall, Orange etc. I play an orange and I love it but they aren’t the easiest amps to get pedals to play nicely with and I’d love to hear their feedback!
+James Gregory Yep. Was talking to Vox just this week who are sending us an AC15 so we can begin. Both Dan and I love Voxes and think they’re much misunderstood. Hopefully we can shed some sonic light on that opinion. :9)
BD-2 has been my favorite drive pedal for a while. Never had any of the mods. Would like to see a comparison.
BD-2 , BD-2W ...OD-3 and Modded OD-3 ,( Pedal Mods UK ) , Modded SD-1 ( Pedal Mods UK) and SD-1W
you probably dont give a shit but does anyone know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account..?
I was dumb forgot my password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me
@Xzavier Dariel instablaster :)

Day off work, pizza, beer and That Pedal Show. What could be better?
Keep the horn.
+Martin Perry Cheers!
13 hour day. Fight with wife. Now I'm watching this with a bottle of wine, and a crap load of sushi😉
By the way I love how this video is an in-depth review of a pedal, with comparisons and has a bit of a tutorial feel to it! The longer format of your show really works with an in-depth review like this! Love it!
+Pat Flanigan Thank you Pat - glad you find it useful!
I found out about Andy Timmons through your use of the horn. It's doing valuable service, keep it in guys.
Micky 2112 me too. Was listening to one of his albums only yesterday thanks to the horn. May not have tickets to see Steven Wilson at the RAH next march if it wasn’t for the horn too...
+Piplodocus We’re so glad to be of help!
Mick, your playing is particularly stellar today....well done indeed.
+Nicko30able Thank you kindly Nicko. :0)
I've been trying to think of how to phrase it without sounding like a back handed compliment, but your playing lately has been extra tasting. Like you've found a new level and are stretching your proverbial wings into a cloudless sky.
Holy crap that JB-2 sounds awesome to me! After hearing that thing in parallel mode my jaw dropped, the sound.. I.. no words!
Dan, I was the fanboy that came up to you and asked you about the JB-2 when I saw you in Anderton's the week before last. Apologies!
+Matt Stanley please, no apologies Matt, was great to meet you :)
Did anybody look inside or get some confirmation from Boss that this pedal is still two analogue drives in one? I fear boss made more than the switching of pedal order to be digital based on the current draw of the pedal.
This seems to be asked in every video posted on the JB2 -- and the replies from both Boss and JHS allege that isn't the case.

The Angry Charlie is just about all of those tones in a single enclosure. This pedal is in my top 5 drives. I really enjoy it.

Mind blown at 14:58. I didn't know a Blues Driver had that tone inside. Gain up, level down. Even more versatility.
Hi, I'm Frank, and I'm a pedal addict... thanks to Dan and Mick!

This is such a great pedal for my nano board. Lots of sound in one pedal. Plus having the Jack for a switch to go between the models is awesome. ❤
Yes! Glad you're doing a video on the pedal and comparing them! Super pumped about the angry driver!
That's the show that I'm looking for all week!!! Can't wait all week, as always and then chill with a beer at home on friday with You chaps. Cheers!!!

+Simon Godfrey Eloquent and bang on the money Simon. Gain stacking is everything. :0)
Great upload and a TOP review
Btw Since my Angry Driver have sold off SD1 OD1w DN2 and BD2 -
That was some awesome playing by both of you guys but especially Mick. The JB-2 is an awesome pedal, I want one :)
excellent video and great inclusion of the extra pedals. extremely upset about going to have to miss Minnesota.
Another great show! Thanks guys :)
- Michael Caz - NYC -
The intro to every That Pedal Show:
Tasty licks, fiddles with the pedals a bit, "Gary Moore" face, playing ends, pause... chuffed nod at each other and a polite compliment.
Mick your rifts have been extraordinary lately. I re-listened to the opening bit, such a nice bit of noise
+Angelo Sorce Thank you kindly sir. It was an inspiring sound today. Same old licks, but it’s okay. I’ve decided to just do what feels right. Cheers!
put the horn on a t-shirt?
+Jim Griffin Thanks so much Jim. We love the ☎️⏲🕯⛺️
Mick, awesome job on the AT version of She's Leaving Home! I love that version!! Nice playing as always.
+Jim Valver Ah, when I’m awake I can make it sound half decent. Long time! Andy’s version though. Holy moly. Brings me to tears.
Very moving piece of music. Love the show, you guys are great. On the edge of my seat hoping for a Greg Koch episode. Cheers!
You guys were killing it man! Nice!
Fantastic demo. Exactly what I wanted to see. I want to believe in Boss again, but I got really burned a few years ago with COSM, and the "never again" is difficult to overcome. Also, you need a t shirt: "All I need is horn. Horn is all I need."
+billphillipstube We like this. :0)
YES!!! COSM pedals sucked..... the tone
The bit when you had both running into each other with high gain was the best sound
I just snagged one of these this past weekend. Looking forward to messing around with it after work today or tomorrow at band practice. That parallel mode sounds great. Just what I'm looking for
Local store just ordered one of these bad boys. Can't wait to check it out myself!
I just have to say Mick! your guit-con hey joe rendition was brilliant! blew me away. well done. And Dan slapping the bass excellent seasoning! well done guys please pepper us more often with delicious live performances. cheers.
Definitely don't see enough of the Lester these days! Great to see and hear it back
If you guys get rid of the HORN, I'm jumping off a cliff...You guys are LIVING my DREAM. Please keep continuing on...
+Greg Doerr ah, easy tiger ;) horn is staying 👍
Can't believe with all that Marshall sound going on in the pedals and with the one sitting right behind you, and turned on, and an attenuator that you guys didn't compare the "Amp Cranked" to the pedals.....Especially since last week's show was about attenuators.....I mean C'mon.....Hahahaha....By The Way Keep the Horn I Love it and Love you guys❤️
Honey Nut it's literally a pedal show. Not a gear show. But yeh a fair point.
Some nice licks all round tonight gents. Much enjoyed
Awesome jam with Phil X at GuitCon, you guys sounded ace. Great vocals as well Mick
You guys always does a great work! Thank you very much guys!
+Ryu Yamakawa you're very welcome :)
I love that modded Blues Driver, we need an episode on it!
I love parallel drive, especially for bass distortion. On my rig, I have a mid-pushed fuzz and a slightly mid-scooped overdrive in parallel, and the sound is huge
I love that strat so so so much
+Luca Ldf Me too. Thank you!
The only good reason to get rid of the horn would be for a bigger horn.
YES!!!
Or for Cowbell....
+Alan Angel Ooh. Maybe with a girthier tone. Now we’re thinking,
Perhaps a horn with humbuckers... (Hornbuckers?)
Plug the horn into the Angry Driver
Nice impression of Andy's style and arrangement Mick, it sounded very good.
Boss Angry Driver seems like a steal. And yes PLEASE keep the horn! love it!
dudes cheers from hawaii
you guys never disappoint me
+DUSTY THOMPSON Aloha Dusty! Mahalo.
So many great tones! KEEP THE HORN!
The JB-2 is a superb pedal which has it all. You need the remote switch to fully utilize it.
Great playing & sounds gents (as always), the parallel mode on that JB-2 is something special for sure! Time to get onto Mr Keeley & see about a D&M Drive V2 with parallel ability 😉
Also, DO NOT GET RID OF THE HORN. Mount it! 📯
Mick!!!! What a opening lick man!! Killer
+Carmen Rago Thank you Carmen, much appreciated.
Original Guv’nor seems to have (excuse the ‘technical talk’😏) a plexi style rasp when pushed that the others don’t duplicate. They seem to go more to fizz....
Must disclose that I have own 2 Guv’nors and haven’t played the others. Great show as usual!
+Justen Stoodley Yep, definitely has something cool going on with it. And we exactly what you mean about the Plexi rasp. :0)
Thanks guys! Very helpful!
I have an old Boss dual drive pedal which is laid out in the same way as the Angry Driver with the concentric knobs and remote switch. Don’t know whether the sounds are similar but it seems familiar to me.
I steal a lot of riffs from this show lol. Keep them coming!
Killing it again, Mick!!!
And Dan, where did you pull those runs out from at 18:24?
The horn is a kind of an acoustic hyperlink mark to almost allways good music I would probably not come across without your show. And without the honk I would not take note of the names in all the great information coming across. Definitely keep it! For the sensitive ears and pets you could insert an old trumpet or sax damper.....
I love fridays! Awesome playing today, will check out mr Timmons! Oh, and keep the horn, please.
+Geirmund Sjødin Please please please listen to Andy’s Sgt Pepper. It’s astounding!
+Geirmund Sjødin Please please please listen to Andy’s Sgt Pepper. It’s astounding!
Love your show guys keep up the great work
Visual Sound / Truetone was doing their V3 dual pedals (which they helped popularize in the 90's in the first place) with the switchable order feature 5 years ago. No one noticed, because no one ever gives them a fair shake. Funny to see so much of what they already did "trending" so often.
+ 1 vote for keeping the horn.
P.S. I always get the horn for you guys, keep it... 😂
+Piplodocus That sounds like fun! Good luck!
As a suggestion, try the Sarno EarthDrive, compare it with Klon or BD-2. I think the ED is fantastic and there are very few reviews online. Keep up with the great work, we are amazed of how good you are. cheers!
+Hugo Martinez Ruiz Thank you Hugo, very kind. A few people have mentioned Samo.... we should get on it. Cheers!
That parallel mode is killer! I could see running the JHS side a little hotter and the Blues Driver almost clean with more volume, to give you some edge without losing your fundamental! Also, when Mick picked up that Telecaster my brain exploded.
Not sure if anyone else caught this but I'm pretty sure that where you've seen series/parallel between drives in a pedal is the TC Nova Drive
Those Eric Johnson arpeggios are getting faster! Nice work Mick.
+yetanotherbassdude +That Pedal Show That sounds like a great excuse to get Dave Hollingworth on the show (Bea can put you in touch)!
My, you two are on fire today!!
"I was having a schwang with it before, sounds ace!" Haha good one Dan.
+James Gregory The following episode of That Pedal Show (uploaded June 19, 2015) touches on that a bit:
ruclips.net/video/vWQKq1Yy7TU/видео.html
Just wanted to add that I dig that idea. Maybe do some amp-centric episodes. Have an episode on Fender, Vox, Marshall, Orange etc. I play an orange and I love it but they aren’t the easiest amps to get pedals to play nicely with and I’d love to hear their feedback!
+James Gregory Yep. Was talking to Vox just this week who are sending us an AC15 so we can begin. Both Dan and I love Voxes and think they’re much misunderstood. Hopefully we can shed some sonic light on that opinion. :9)
That Pedal Show Excellent! I can't wait to see that. I'm thinking of getting an AC15 and would love to see that.
That Pedal Show PS- keep the horn! It's your thing. Who the hell doesn't find it entertaining? I always get a kick out of it.
A used guv'nor 2 is the best bargain ever. it should be in every pedalboard.
Great show again...
