That just goes to show that drivers in other countries are much more prepared outside of the US. the US probably has the most unqualified drivers in the world. The driving tests are so damn simple that unqualified people pass them and we have dumb tragedies happen in this country. In Germany the driving tests are much more comprehensive, and take longer for you to get licensed, that's why they are more competent like in this case autotopnl is. Drivers in Germany have proper driving etiquette and respect all the rules. I wish more drivers were like that here in America 😓

I like that the LCD dashboard framerate is fast the way it should. Early LCD dashboards used to be so slow and laggy, sometimes as slow as 2 fps which made me strongly favor traditional analog dashboard. I think they really cheaped out on the processing power of early ones.
I watch alot of these reviews from AutoTop and am always amazed at how newer supercars are so composed when there at such high speeds. This thing looked like a complete nightmare and would have had me crapping in my pants. The suspension just looked brutal

Mclaren and the Germans plays with the rules to make it look like theirs cars are more efficient and more refined than the conccurrence but in reality their cars are just more powerful than the announced power, that's it.

They show you the top speed of supercars or just cars in general, Majority of car channels cannot do this especially here in America. This McClaren 765LT is extremely quick. Max is one of my favorite test drivers, when he says Holy Moly you know he is moving at a high rate of speed. Lol!
The 765lt already does 9.3 secs quarter mile on stock tires from the factory with rwd and not even made for drag racing put some drag tires on it and it’s easily doing high 8s

Edit : The 765LT pulls violently and perpetually, no matter the gear.
A friend of mine has a gocart chassi with a 600cc motorcycle engine on it, this reminds me a whole lot about that thing. Acceleration and sound is quite similar!
This car is clearly limited at 330 km a car with 850 hp and weighing 2,985 lbs can easily do 350 plus km or even more the gt2 rs did 225 mph with a giant wing and a lot more downforce
The Gearing is shorter since the car is all about acceleration and not Top speed, thus 7th gear has a lower top speed. As far as I know the gearing is 15% shorter than the 720s.
@@mrmorrisniceguy987 Well if they shortened the 7th gear just a bit, it could reach a higher top speed..but then you would lose fuel economy on the 7th, which is the cruising gear. And seeing as this is pretty much a revamp of the 720s, I doubt they would bother to engineer a whole new 8 speed transmission as this would add weight regardless of what they do. Plus the majority of the market won't notice this top speed issue because they can't legally drive that fast anyway :p

weight doesnt play a big role on vmax. its all about power and aerodynamics
The Gearing is shorter since the car is all about acceleration and not Top speed, thus 7th gear has a lower top speed. As far as I know the gearing is 15% shorter than the 720s.
