- Expensive, intense and shockingly fast: the McLaren 765LT is no friendly supercar. Chris Harris is kept on his toes by this 750bhp track special with monster racing pedigree that's capable of speeds over 200mph. Definitely too fast for the road - but is it a fair contest when up against the Aston Martin V8 Vantage F1 Edition and the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm in a Top Gear drag race?

This machine has been getting some bad reviews from " some" but i think the car looks absolutely badass...and it looks like it drives like a total dragon.
Bro it's the build quality, literally the worst, screws missing and all sorts, the panels dont line up, if u r unlucky to get a "Friday"! car you are knackered.

Most of the 765LT reviews have been positive. Chris Harris review about the car is positive. But I think he prefer the 720s. And speaking of 720s, there were some negative reviews about the car when it was first released. But overtime some of the same reviewers have a different take on the car.

Chris Harris is the only thing worth watching from TG since ‘The 3’ left.
You can tell he really likes cars, it isn’t forced humour with a folksy accent. Just a great driver who can present well.

Finally Chris Harris is back on RUclips. I’m in America so it’s impossible for me to watch Top Gear. The real Top Gear lol. He does the best most honest and insightful reviews on cars. Hands down the best to me.

Dyno results suggest that the name of this model should have been 865LT since this car makes 850-870 break horsepower, depending on octane numbers...
McLaren underrating their car's HP numbers just so It could fall Into the category of 'slower' supercars and 'demolish' them even tho It's not even a same category, what's new? Has It snowed In Sahara?

Please do not quote ridiculous quote me happy figures from RUclips channels in the USA! Like dragtimes… I hate misinformation, Brooks should have known better! He knows what these produce on accurate dynos and it’s around 770 crank hp.

It makes me so proud to be British seeing McLaren's. As all other car makes come out with something, then McLaren just blow them in to the middle of last week with their new model. They are the greatest all round supercars in the world right now!
The Artura does not stack up well against the Fezza296GTB. Wait until the spider comes out. The 2023 mid year sales figures will crucial.
@@kevinburke6743 it's 60k cheaper than the 296. They aren't direct competitors with that price difference. You could buy an Artura and a new M3 for the price of the Ferrari.

That 765 is one of the only things that comes close to the sf90.... And on some conditions... Even beat it !!!!
And the SF90 will cost you about $150,000-$200,000 more than the 765LT which dare I say it is a bargain. The fact that McLaren 765LT can hit 9 second qtr. miles without any mods is insane. You have to know what you are doing or you are a very experienced driver to handle the power of the 765 or it will kill you.

The 765 LT is a hyper cars killer , the cars had been on the Dyno for a test and it makes 765 HP to the wheels which mean 800 HP crank and it’s super light i saw it on a video going neck a neck with the P1 from Roll , this car can beat the LaFerrari or 918 from a roll for sure
Easily tuned as well.
@@m1l3s27 yes car did 9.3s one the 1/4 mile bone stock, and 8.9s with just downpipes.
It'll never sound as good as the P1. If you want to hear what a proper hypercar should sound like, listen to the P1. What a monster.

765LT will also beat both the LaFerrari, P1 and 918 Spyder in a drag race from a standstill.
Just look for the SuperCar diaries of this car... Define impressive, without saying the word impressive.

I said before the 765LT came out that it might be the most important car McLaren has released since the original McLaren F1 and the P1
This car will only go up in importance and value over time when people realize how special it truly is. The Senna will probably lose some of its importance to this car

It’s a hyper car for the price of a super car
You don’t need to spec this at 400 grand like the one he drove. Brook from Dragtimes has a very low spec 765LT and still destroys

This is just another track version of a supercar McLaren makes. What makes this one special in the future? The P1 was the 1st hybrid hypercar, the Senna was the 1st of its kind track focused from McLaren, the 765LT blends in more in the long run.
