When I was a cadet at West Point, in the dining hall where the 4000 were fed at one sitting, a banner hung saying self discipline is the key, how true.

Thank you for posting this!! Out of a thousand videos I've watched, this one is the best, honest, thorough, pure information a man's journey in life. Also I wanted to add the word 'humility' to the conversation. If that is one of your goals, know you have progressed very well in that regard as it is palpable to viewers. Your words grab both the ears and the Heart. It is to God's glory that you present yourself in such transparency.

I've been watching your videos for a while now. I bought a used Timberking 1220 this spring and got it back in shape. I'm planning to build some little farm buildings. I have reformed Baptist type beliefs so your videos have been very helpful and interesting. I live south of Corydon, it's a small world. Keep putting out the videos, I'm a big fan. May God bless you and your family.

Thank you. The one thing I will say about it is that if you are in some kind of group where people are going to be accountability/ challenging your fasting, then be careful how you go about it. Just like any exercise or discipline you need to build up to it. Start 3 meals a day, then 2, then 1. That may take a few months. Prolonged fasting for several days is something that takes training and can have very bad consequences if you don't enter into it and ease back into food the proper way.

Good video, moderation in all things and attitude determines altitude. Our bodies are a temple for our Spirit to dwell during this probationary period. It is a free gift from God.

Dr. Berg is awesome! Thanks for sharing your story. Nutrition is fundamental to how you operate, and it's always best to operate from good fundamentals if you want good results. Now discover the benefits of cold showers and cold baths; you talk about game-changers! Cold exposure takes away all your aches your pains and makes feel like a boss. Good for you! Thanks for your inspirational story. Best regards.

2:25 I understand that "looking a certain way" for the public is vanity. What I don't get is that, it's not for your wife either? I'm not married so maybe that's why I don't understand. Everything else in the vid I agree with.

    • @southernindianasawmill1367

I would say that no wife, regardless of what they say, wants an unhealthy man. Of course, what is good for me is also good for my wife, my family, etc. I think a little observation shows that married couples often let themselves go when they settle down and get comfortable. Although there is no guarantee of longevity, the years we have can be made much better if we are healthy. Thanks for watching!
