I love it when people post videos, half of the comments are all about “hey whoever posted this, can u reach out to every band member, go back in time, grab a GoPro, film, record, and post so I can hear it from the angle of the instrument I used to play and want to live vicariously through that video since I quit and never played for a band this large? Thanks that would be great!” 😂. I won’t be THAT guy. As a former baritone horn player back in the 80’s, I’ve been obsessed with DCI and large high school bands like this. To the clarinet player who posted this, incredible job, and wow, your tone and all those super high notes were amazing! I have a much higher appreciation for the clarinet after this video, forgetting how the high notes can make a huge difference at the ending of each phrase/song…in fact I’d encourage the directors to allow the clarinets and high woodwinds to hold the higher notes a split second longer at the end of the song 🎵 so the audience can feel that explanation point…you’re super talented and I admire your perseverance to get to this level !!!
Ikr. I marched Tenor Sax and Clarinet in HS and bruh, it was so difficult to maintain clean high notes, not to mention playing music that was 1 or two levels lower than what these guys are playing OMG
Correction: at m171 the notes should not be written as cue notes
4:47 is so serene. Your tone is NUTS btw. And hitting double A that clean while marching is super impressive, new favorite hs marching band.
I think thats an f
I was about to flip absolute candles if that was an actual double high A
@@thatrandomguygaming324 2:55 is an A to B 😲
No hate but thats easy and im a sophmore @ivanperez6961
Good job man, this is super spot on
uhhhhhh is there a 2nd clarinet part 😭
Yeah but there probably aren’t videos of it
There is. I’ve got all, and included other things not shown on this transcription for the top 3 clarinets.
No. Learn to play altissimo.
@@woke_vegetable facts
Im learning but I’m still working on lower altissimo like E, F, G, those notes really

0:32-0:41 dang no wonder he was struggling. As a former, part-time clarinet player myself those fingerings are hard to hit cleanly😭

bro those are pretty easy fingerings. what are you talkin about lmao
Whoevers behind hailey is dragging their feet
3:52 iconic Alto Trombone moment
And whoever’s behind Hailey dragging their feet
I’m confident that maybe 2 clarinets out of 9 could play this in my band
I’m confident that 0 could in mine
We now have 14 this year and still only 2 could play this
I would say we had 2 last year, 1 fs who could play it, but now we don’t get anyone who can 😅
2:44 Akchually it's a Mello 🤓
If possible could you have the baritone cam out soon?
it's out now
If only our woodwinds just practiced like, 30 minutes more, maybe they could the first 3 notes....
Haha the first 3 notes are really easy after about 1.5 years of playing😁
never in my life have i ever seen a fortississississimo
Flight of the silverbird! ITS SO GOOD
As a trombonist and never really being able to hear clarinets they are hella pretty 🔥
NAHH MARCHING AND PLAYING THIS IS CRAZY I CAN’T EVEN PLAY IT ALONE🫡🫡
Can you do a soprano sax transcription of this
Im pretty sure there is no video besides the soprano feature
Soprano sax is in the same key and register, so you can just play this
@@woke_vegetable same music too
Soprano is the same music and key
No shade but there’s no way everyone in the section is playing this together accurately, I love the music but it’s hard to make it sound good
Lots of slop - I'm assuming this was fairly early in the season?
Euph cam next!
thank you.
Can you do the piccolo solo
fr there are no flute or piccolo marching band transcriptions out there😢
Trumpet cam coming out?
0 to 7:30 I can’t do this😅
Yeah, I think Hebrons shows were a bit harder than mine
7:06🤣🤣
So dirty but at least it sounds clean on the field lmao
clerint
You got soft hands brother
How it feels to have a band larger than 26
i love you
