Double G on the marching field in highschool is CRAZY
This will go down in history as probably the best high school marching band program…ever. What your ensemble performed was nothing short of incredible. You put most of DCI to shame. Bravo!
As a snare player I don't know how I didn't notice you lost a lot of air while marching in playing, actually kinda impressive.
i wish my marching band had music like this! we did have a trumpet screamer though so its not all bad lol
If I'm gonna have to play this in high school then I'm definitely gonna need to learn how to get a better embochure for high notes. Highest I can go is a high d, on rare occasion.
These guys take Marching arts seriously and it is so cool to see. Amazing show. Great playing. Stunning visuals. GR Mouthpiece in a Marching setting is new to me, as well. Sick transcription.
Damn, I’m actually jealous. I always wanted to be in a high school marching band that was this serious about its craft and production. Y’all were amazing, congrats!

I’m actually from a different HS, but we faced Hebron at UIL in 2021. We didn’t place, but Hebron put on a hell of a performance there. Pretty sure they placed they placed top 10, but I can’t remember if they won. I’m fairly certain they did though.
Honestly, when comparing this to the version posted by the HHS Band themselves, you can REALLY see just how big this performance was. Despite everyone sounding late, light moves WAY faster than sound will in a performance like this. That's why so many parts sound late in this footage but sound perfect in the final cut. It's honestly incredible that stuff like this is possible. I'm amazed that this is a high school group. As someone going into marching band next year, this honestly inspires me to go the extra mile and really try to add something to the band when I get there. Seeing a band that takes their marching and playing THIS seriously is honestly a huge inspiration. Cheers!

i remember going to state and seeing this program.. one of the best performances i’ve ever witnessed in a marching band and they got much deserved first place.
