Their 2019 show is so so so underrated, probably one of their best blends of sound in regards to sweetness, power and variety, and their rep is fantastic in this show! Their 2022 show also deserves a watch as well
I’m so glad you enjoyed the show! I was apart of this program from 2019-2023 and this was my freshman year show. I always say that if I could go back and be apart of any show, I would choose this one. This show was so special and I was so excited to see this pop up on my feed :)
Hebron won music that year but got 3rd overall. Vandergrift won grand nats that year (you reacted to their show already), and Avon got second. I liked this show best and while I wished it placed higher, I think that the top three all had phenomenal performances that night. Hebron 2022 and 2023 and Broken Arrow 2021 are also some amazing shows to check out
Both of my kids were in this show, and I was down on the field helping with the pit crew, it was great to see live. It was one of our best, for sure. We didn't win, got 3rd place, but won music and got the Rose Bowl invitation from this show.

There are a ton more and I have videos of some of these if you need them!
Amazing, so who was better in 2019? Reagan or Hebron? It would be good for him to review REAGAN. I think people might begin to understand why DCI vets prefer Hebron
@@user-ml2re8ek7bReagan was significantly better visually and hebron was slightly better musically. It's pretty general consensus that reagan would have won nats that year had they gone because they beat the grand nats winners (vandy) by about a full point just one week prior

hebron does the best job out of any band with dynamic contrast in my opinion, I love hearing more mezzo dynamics rather than just loud or nothing, no in between - amazing contrast when compared to other top groups
2010 Tarpon Springs is my favorite HS marching band SHOW of all time. I do prefer Hebron for music - 2019 opener is my number 1. 2021 Hebron show top-to-bottom is a perfect show. Also adding another vote for 2023 Tarpon Springs. I saw that show live and it was as phenomenal as it was entertaining and enjoyable. So many cool and innovative visuals. If you haven't watched 2023 Tarpon, go find it now.

My granddaughter is a sophomore this year at Hebron. They start practice in the summer at 6:30am until 9pm. Even after school starts, it's early 6:30am for practice. It's very competitive within to be able to play or be a prop person. There are 3 bands in Lewisville ISD and they compete against each other as well. Flower Mound and Marcus. All 3 are great bands.
it’s just wild that they can get high school kids doing this. when i was in school you had maybe like 2-3 people that could play with this kind of technique. incredible how texas bands have progressed over the last 20 years.
totally agree on the Drumline. I'm so spoiled by SoCal Drumline but their drumline was pretty solid. Smaller than I expected for the size of the band as well. Hebron band is next level though. They have so many DCI sounding moments.

Avon 2010 is what I’d consider to be the greatest show of all time. HIGHLY recommend watching it plus some other fantastic Avon shows like 2008, 2009, and 2023 with which they won Nats with all of them. Plus their indoor winds shows are amazing. 2022 they got a 99.175 and is probably the cleanest and most difficult marching any high school has ever done

Hebron got 3rd in 2019, followed by Avon in 2nd and Vandergrift in 1st. This show absolutely blew me away musically, but watching the other shows you can understand why Hebron didn't win.
2019 Ronald Reagan was one of my first wow moments when my kids started band. I was sitting in one of the first rows at state for penstriped in 2021 and I’ve still never heard a wall of sound like that. For a different fun show check out The Woodlands show on 2021 called Life is a Caberet. They’re one of Houston’s best bands in recent years
So, marching season of 2024 technically ended besides Grand Nats, and there are definitely some must watches. Some include, Flo Mo, Hebron, Marcus, Vandegrift, and Pearland. There are way more bands too!
the top 3 shows i recommend watching the most are (2023 Vandegrift)(2021 Broken Arrow)(2022 Hebron). there are a ton of really great shows from over the years but these shows are the most likely to compete for “GOAT” HS Marching Band
It’s not on RUclips yet, but James F. Byrnes High School’s 2024 show, Headline, is one of the greatest I’ve ever seen. They won their first BOA regional in 25 years with it, and I believe they currently have the third highest score in the nation. It would be really cool if you checked it out!
Basically any Hebron show since 2015 is worth a look, a lot of Vandegrift is pretty good, Marcus, Claudia Taylor Johnson, just a massive list of amazing 6A High schools

I like how everything is just hebron being recommended. Personally, they are the best because the music. I'm also from texas we honestly simply care about the music. Man if hebron were clean visually they would be unbeatable
Here is Hebron’s 2015 show “360”. This was the parents night, the night before they left for Grand Nationals. It was really cold and affected some tuning, compared with the pit. BUT The Mellos are beyond strong. It’s worth watching this show simply for the sax solo ballad. (He made Texas All-State Band! Do you know how hard that is to do!?) I hope you react to this. ruclips.net/video/xE6zjJJ7QxI/видео.htmlsi=n9pRyJVgoVx67JTP
RUclips is pretty much the place to look. There are also a lot of people that still keep an archive of DVD/BR/stream rips that are sometimes shared around behind closed doors (if you know who to ask).
my private lessons teacher used to work for the hebron program, and he's told me all about how "once you step in that band hall, it feels like you're stepping into a prison." apparently their work-life balance is abysmal, which doesn't surprise me honestly. you're not getting a high school band to be this great so consistently without rigorous training and discipline. as another comment said, basically any show of theirs since 2015 has been phenomenal; thats 9 years. its a completely different band now, and they're still amazing.
Can you please react to a Calgary Stampede Showband performance? We are basically a drum corps with a woodwind section (i.e. an independent organization of youth aged 16-21 that puts together a summer field show for competition, and we've even competed once in DCI International Class). We have won the WAMSB World Championship t would be cool to see some international representation on your channel. Here are my recommendations of shows to react to (all but 2016 have a multicam on RUclips): 1) 2013-Momentum (WAMSB World Champions) 2) 2017-Mosaic 3) 2019-Infin8 Possibilities (WAMSB World Champions) 4) 2016-In Pursuit 5) 2022-Life Finds A Way (DCI International Class)

MELLOSSSS 😻😻😻😻😻😻😻
You should react to tarpon springs 2014. Winner of that years grand nats!!!!
You should reach to James Bowie HS, their band is quite fun to watch
my private lessons teacher used to work for the hebron program, and he's told me all about how "once you step in that band hall, it feels like you're stepping into a prison." apparently their work-life balance is abysmal, which doesn't surprise me honestly. you're not getting a high school band to be this great so consistently without rigorous training and discipline. as another comment said, basically any show of theirs since 2015 has been phenomenal; thats 9 years. its a completely different band now, and they're still amazing.
Broken Arrow 2021 is a MUST SEE. highest score in BOA history, nothing but perfection
Watch flower mound 2021
Review: Broken Arrow 2021 and Hebron 2023-Monomyth
Could you give homestead 2019 a view?
Hebron 2019 got 3rd at Grand National Finals, behind Vandegrift and Avon
Can you please react to a Calgary Stampede Showband performance? We are basically a drum corps with a woodwind section (i.e. an independent organization of youth aged 16-21 that puts together a summer field show for competition, and we've even competed once in DCI International Class). We have won the WAMSB World Championship t would be cool to see some international representation on your channel.
Here are my recommendations of shows to react to (all but 2016 have a multicam on RUclips):
1) 2013-Momentum (WAMSB World Champions)
2) 2017-Mosaic
3) 2019-Infin8 Possibilities (WAMSB World Champions)
4) 2016-In Pursuit
5) 2022-Life Finds A Way (DCI International Class)
Not me stressing that Ayala was mentioned for having one of the best socal drum lines and I’m omw to their hosted comp rn 💀🙏
Nahhhhh Hebron 2015- 360 is their best show. The tenor sax solo in it actually changed the course of many lives 😂😂
Southlake Carroll 2022! House of Glass
People forget about LD Bell. LD bell in 2006 and when they won nationals in 2007 are the best shows.
You should react to their 2023 show!
