Your drone shots really showed off how different each of the tea plants look, and you did a great job describing how the ones you sampled tasted. I was surprised to find the plants still produce even after 45 years - I knew grape vines can live a long time, but tea plants were a surprise.
I love shots from above!! It can really help put things into perspective. I’m also proud that i filmed those shots myself while licking at the same time 😂👌🏻

Such an amazing video Jenn! I can see how much work you put into this❤️ The little girl in this video warmed my heart, she was so kind. I would love to visit this place if I ever make it to Taiwan.
Since Jean planned to move to Taiwan and started subscribing, I am very happy that Jean has developed a youtube channel so active, and Taiwan’s tea is really delicious.
Thank you very much! I am so happy that I can fully submerge myself in travel and try to see a lot of what Taiwan has to offer !! It also helps I don’t work a 9-5 job here. I worked Monday to Friday in Japan so, I couldn’t do everything I wanted.
Old tea is my favorite! It has kind of smoky and a little dusty flavor, I would say. Also it is not bitter at all, and has a really unique sweet taste once it goes down your throat. My best friend, also roommate while in college, her uncle owned a tea farm in Nantou. Her father knew that I love tea, and I even brought a teapot with me, so he gave us a 300g pack of old tea from the tea farm. Since the packaging was color gold and vacuum packaged, and also *that* *expensive,* I used to call it "little gold brick". I really miss my tea-scented college days.
Love to travel SE Asia but have never been to Taiwan. Hopefully i'll get there when travel opens up again. I really miss it. Thank you for taking me to Taiwan via your vlogs. The tea fields are so cool looking.

Wow wow wow what a phenomenal video! I would love to go and pick/bless/prepare/and drink my own tea! It would make you appreciate the effort that goes into making each flavor even more!

I'm in love with the fact that you hit up all the tourist spots but also venture out to see the vast and fascinating Taiwan behind the bright and colorful nightmarkets, 101, etc. I've been going back to Taiwan all my life but never had the chance to visit places like this-- you really inspire me to keep learning and exploring my own family's home and not stay complacent !
Have been loving the Taiwan content. I love to just relax and warch your videos to unwind and just immerge myself in a digital trip in Taiwan. I wish I could go back. The two times I went, I absolutely loved the people there. One of the friendliest people and willing to help strangers. Thank you for sharing!
The honey flavor is caused by the little green insect called 小綠葉蟬 Jacobiasca formosana. They sting and suck from the leaves and that creates chemical change in the leaves. That's how the special aroma comes from.
Wow, your mini documentaries from Taiwan are so lovely, and precious, full of curiosity and love for culture, people and the country. Thanks again for bringing us on your exciting and beautiful journey!

I hope you can experience the tea fields in Taiwan and have a great experience! And thank you so much. I’m proud of the editing I did on this video and using the sound byte from the young children serenading their musical talents to me :)
That was an amazing experience, I’ve seen videos on tea plantations and processing before but this one was more personal. The other ones I saw the tee plants were in mountains on plateaus so the fields are different. I still haven’t tried the round of tea, it just smells soooo earthy. 😵💫. Thanks for taking us along. 🙋🏼♀️
Glad to have you!! You should take a chance on the tea you have ✨👌🏻 And I love the whole family dynamic there. I really miss my family back home so, it was nice to see a happy family all working together and thriving 🥺♥️
It was pretty amazing to see a decades old award winning tea farm. I've never really thought of what a tea farm was like. I knew they were leaves, but I just never envisioned little shrubs everywhere. The little girl serving you was so cute! It was really sweet of her to serve you first. The boy who was in training looked like he was all business. We had just talked about it being difficult to do travel videos in Japan. Maybe with all of these travel videos here you'll have an easier time getting sponsored when you go back to Japan!
