      According CDC directions, after October 5 you don’t need to wear mask if you’re in a outdoor area where is non crowded or available to keep social distance.
      But most Taiwanese choice to keep wear it, just by case.

    Your drone shots really showed off how different each of the tea plants look, and you did a great job describing how the ones you sampled tasted. I was surprised to find the plants still produce even after 45 years - I knew grape vines can live a long time, but tea plants were a surprise.

    Old tea is my favorite! It has kind of smoky and a little dusty flavor, I would say. Also it is not bitter at all, and has a really unique sweet taste once it goes down your throat.
    My best friend, also roommate while in college, her uncle owned a tea farm in Nantou. Her father knew that I love tea, and I even brought a teapot with me, so he gave us a 300g pack of old tea from the tea farm. Since the packaging was color gold and vacuum packaged, and also *that* *expensive,* I used to call it "little gold brick". I really miss my tea-scented college days.

    The honey flavor is caused by the little green insect called 小綠葉蟬 Jacobiasca formosana. They sting and suck from the leaves and that creates chemical change in the leaves. That's how the special aroma comes from.

    Hi Jenn! Have been an IG follower and I’m planning a trip to Taiwan so I remembered you have travel vlogs of Taiwan. 😀 Curious, was CF tea open to public tour similar to what you did? CF tea is kinda hard to research on. 😅

    • @LayersOfJenn
      @LayersOfJenn  Год назад

      It should be! This was a project given to me by taiwna travel tourism bureau. Unfortunately, most of their tours are aimed at locals here so I can see why information would be hard to find in English.
      I had a translator for the tour. Nobody at CF tea spoke English to me (an FYI).

    之前沒看過jenn的頻道 .
    看Allan那輯茶園的vlog後搜尋找到jenn,可是一直沒找到妳茶園的這輯,還以為我找錯人了......哈哈......原來是視頻還沒播出,Allan提早幫妳劇透了.....
    用有限的英文聴辨力看妳節目,當練聽力.....
    我也是新竹人,我娘家在新豐,jenn有機會也可以去新豐玩,新豐有小叮噹科學遊樂區,我娘家就在旁邊不遠,遊樂區附近有個天德堂廟,那裡的夕陽美景是新竹八大美景之一,廟旁有登山步道,修健的不錯,可以一路走到竹北.....
    還有周圍的紅樹林濱海公園也不錯,退潮時海邊適合小朋友玩砂踩水,那裡的螃蟹是個大藝術家,挖出的砂球在新竹風的吹拂下變成一幅幅美麗的印象派畫作,非常獨特美麗,是我在台北和基隆這邊沙攤看不見的風景.....
    如果要到新豐玩,想吃什麼特色食物來問問我,我幫妳問我妹妹.......
    我嫁到台北20幾年,一年難得回家幾趟,很多好吃好喝的都得讓家人買給我吃才知道.....哈哈,我現在是個不道地的新竹人了....^^"

    After your adventure videos, Taiwan, besides its technological products, now even its agricultural products are getting more and more renowed over the rest of the world. If you are interested, there are many more other agricultural products that you may explore in Taiwan thanks to its warm climate.
