Your work is so inspiring where do you get these patterns? Are you following a pattern or do these gorgeous works of art just come to you on the fly? Amazing either way! Even when I attempt to follow along a tutorial or pattern my version looks like I did the craft while in a tornado, with my hands tied behind my back and only using my feet and only my big toes...and heels......while ...in ....snowshoes....
Ah yes. Where do I get my divine creative inspiration? Good question.. I usually start by making a few disasterous stinkers and by the 5th or 10th one I find a good design and I then blab all about it on RUclips as if it were easy. It’s a formula. Oh and btw my attempts at art crafty stuff...is so...so bad....even my kids see it and say...Ahhhh ohhhh mommaaaa ahhh and hug me....ahhh mommy....ahhh...oh my goodness come here mommy give us a hug ...wee lamb....i hug them then realize its a pity hug and say get outta here dont look at it anymore i know its bad....they give me pity looks and say...well,,,,mum ....uhh maybe dont quit your day job....hey...you can cook and do lots of other stuff....like LIKE WHAT GUYS? LIKE....DRESS MYSELF AND USE SHARP SCISSORS AND DRINK FROM THINGS THAT ARENT SIPPY CUPS...THEY LAUGH I GIVE A FROWNY FACE AND FAKE CRY..,WE LAUGH...but I appreciate the beautiful skills women like you possess such a talent and a stunning skill talent and gift it is! Never hide your light beautiful things come from beautiful souls...thank you for sharing your gift so unselfishly. I too have experienced the forced smile and fake niceties from people looking at my handmade things. I once knitted an eternity scarf for someone and it took WEEKS. I use multi surface paints because they stick better, but you could try regular deco art and then varnish afterwards.

When the ornaments spin or turn or you can see them from other angles how do you hide the plain wooden backing?
I just paint the back. You can adjust the ribbon on the tree branch to hang a certain way so it’s facing out.

The nozzle tops unscrew and you can just squirt the paint right in 👍
