I see it all the time on my lesson tee.
It’s a golf swing mistake 95% of amateur golfers make.
A mistake that kills their distance and their contact.
Odds are good that you’re making this mistake, too…
…and it’s not what you think.
Find out if this fatal error is plaguing your golf swing and fix your golf pivot today.
Today’s lesson is another reminder that small adjustments make a huge difference in your game.
Of course, that’s the opposite of what traditional golf instruction tells you.
Traditional advice says that in order to play a better game, you have to learn a more complicated swing.
That it’s all about crazy contortions and precision timing.
You know… things that just aren’t an option for most of us in a certain phase of life.
Here’s the truth: you’ll never play your best game by trying to play like the professionals.
You can only do it by playing like yourself, using a system designed to work with your strengths.
I’m talking about the Vertical Line System, the new method that’s all about getting incredible results with an effortless swing.
    It’s uncomplicated.
It’s easy to learn and even easier to repeat.
And it’s the reason golfers of all ages are suddenly playing the best game of their lives.

Hi Todd. Thank you very much for your video tips, which have helped me a lot. You're the best! I am an "experienced" golfer, as you define it, who has been struggling to apply your vertical system. It's been working well for short clubs and for my driver. But with 7 and 8 irons I cannot stop taking the club inside. I don't shoot over the top, but under, and compensate by closing the club head on the release. It also means that my backswing keeps being low and I push a lot of shots. I don't know what the cause is and what is the effect. I am sure a lot of my fellow experienced golfer suffer from the same problem. Please give us a drill to keep the club always in front and not take it back so much. Thank you.

The practice method seems similar to hitting a backhand with the left hand in tennis. As I have played tennis for many years, it was easy for me to understand. In Korea, golf RUclipsrs often explain things too complicatedly, but your drill and explanations are very easy for amateurs to understand, so I grasped the concepts easily and quickly. By the way, I subscribe your channel and I am from Korea.👍

Excellent job Todd in explaining how to avoid the dreaded "chicken wing" in one's golf swing. The only golfer that I know of that could make a success out of playing golf with a bent left arm was PGA golfer Calvin Peete, although his was because of deformity! Well Done Todd!

Yes, yes yes, Great video. Although I don´t have this problem - I sometimes forget to complete my swing and "go fishing" which is what I call not following through and jerking the club up (I guess like a chicken wing) . I have shared your video with a friend whom I feel does not complete his golf swing. But his pro says that the follow through doesn't matter because when you hit the ball it is gone. I do not agree at all - and I don´t think you agree with that pro either.... or do you, Todd?

I force my elbow to stay locked pushing away from my body. Repetition is key once it’s fixed. Don’t get lazy.
