    I got approved for tinnitus. I was a tanker, but anyone can write a convincing personal statement. You have to absolutely point out why you think this is service connected.

      I agree, context is key.

    You can claim almost anything, getting service connected is a major hurdle!

    • @KapRowley
      @KapRowley  Месяц назад +2

      That's a fact and many other variables, like if your rater had a bad day!

    "Tell us how your back got injured from your service "
    > I literally carried over 100 lbs, enough to dry off antitank mines for months
    > the VA has you rated for 0%
    I have been getting chiro therapy for 10 years now.😂

      I claimed chronic pain from rucking and moving heavy equipment.

    Makes me wonder. I claimed tinnitus, but was denied. Makes no sense considering part of my job was listening to loud, scratchy, crappy comms constantly.

      Reapply. I worked with demo and was denied twice.

      I also worked with demo, but also had a concussion from an IED..... it was literally the easiest claim

    13E Artillery, tinnitus was my easiest claim, but not my 1st.

    "the VA has a pretty chill standard"...
    No they don't, I fought them for 7 years to even get diagnosed.

      You'll never get compensation for hbp if you're on meds and your pressure is under control is 0%. I'm service connected with 0% cause I'm on meds. Good luck

    Tinnitus is 10%, what can I claim for Navy Diving School in 1979?

    • @KapRowley
      @KapRowley  Месяц назад

      What conditions normally correlate with diving school?

    • @sugiereaves4266

      I have 10% for Tinnitus.... I then filed a secondary condition of diagnosed Insomnia and my Dr wrote a nexus letter for me saying "it's as likely as not connected to his service connected tinnitus"..... And that secondary claim got rated 70%

    You can still get connected and 0%.

    • @KapRowley
      @KapRowley  Месяц назад

      Yes! 0% Is a great thing! The VA is acknowledging your connection. You can always increase, in a couple years, is recommended.

    Is dermatitis presumptive to Desert Storm?

    • @KapRowley
      @KapRowley  Месяц назад +1

      Not that I could find on the VA website. Then again, their site isn't completely updated. I recommend you call the VA directly and ask.
