Literally laughed out loud at the 'I know what you're thinking.. no.. no.. no...' part when saying 'You don't have rhythm??' And yeah, I always been guilty of thinking it!
If you can spare the bucks, it is TOTALLY worth getting a battery strap with hot-swappable batteries for it, they ain't cheap, but the one I have even has a built in cooling fan which is perfect for games that make you sweat
My son and I played Puzzling Places in MR this morning and wow!! So incredible and can span all generations imo. I do look forward to Wall Town Wonders.... not really my type of game but looks so cool. 🔥🔥❤❤
Opinion: * Lego: Horrible performance, apparently especially in MR mode. Not worth it. * Cubism: I personally didn't like it after looking forward to it, but that is very subjective. I guess I never made it that far out of brute forcing the puzzles when they became harder more so than having any real feeling of being clever it that makes sense. I also found rotating pieces a bit annoying in VR. I got nothing bad to say though about the implementation or performance though. Haven't played anything else on your list sadly (otherwise great video, btw), but where MR really shines for me is sports games that work with portals. There, it is less about the immersion of being in your own room seeing virtual objects, but rather it is a convenience feature, replacing the more limited boundaries / chaperone system with just seeing 1:1 how far your walls and furniture is away. That makes it easier to play in some instances without making sure your space is perfect and also allows you to play closer to real world objects safely. Racket Club is still my go to implementation of a virtual portal; basically extending your room with another space through your walls by placing the net, dividing both halves of the court, just shy of your wall. Eleven Table Tennis (and slightly less perfect implemented First Person Tennis) has got a similar implementation just a few weeks ago and it is awesome, having caused me to play the game way more as a result. Miracle Pool doesn't use a portal mechanic (would actually be cool for smaller rooms especially) but its also a fantastic MR experience. When it comes to just preferring to be in MR instead of VR, creativity apps also come to mind. I love both 3D modeling in Shapelaps (using chroma keying via Virtual Desktop for MR) as well as digital traditional painting in Vermillion while sitting on the couch, still being able to interact with the real world (and having a photo realistic backdrop) while also working with virtual objects. I can and do that shit for hours, literally. EDIT: I also really enjoyed both Puzzling Places and that one chess game way more in MR than in VR. The former is also more fun for me than Cubeism for me. Also, the Angry Birds game is weirdly fun in MR.
Ive been loving mixed reality games. I just like to be able to see my surroundings
Drop Dead Cabin, Demeo and Cubism looks really dope!

Miracle pool is pretty cool too. The only problem with Mr games is that they drain your battery a lot faster.

Marty, keep up the good work!
