I got a bobo vr head strap for 100 bucks and it was the best purchase for the quest i got so far. Expensive though. Maybe worth comparing with the cheaper head straps in the next video🤔
Since I got VR ROCK's prescription lenses for my VR headset, I've been using it more often. It used to be a pain playing with my regular glasses, but now with this accessory, it's so much more comfortable.
Y'know, fair point on the prescription lenses. I personally use VR- Rock because they're basically always have a promo code available and already have a really good price. But I was also surprised how effective it was, especially with the very clear vision it gave (as you mentioned).
One thing no-one talks about with these hard-wired battery straps, is the fact that if the wire connection point to the back of the headset gets messed up or crimped, you’re kind of screwed. It’s a common failure point on any electronic device really. Also, I have concerns about the interchangeable batteries falling off in certain scenarios for fitness games. I think I’m gonna grab another VR power and basic headstrap.
@ bummed out. I can’t find one I like. BoboVr is a no-go for fitness (counterweight should be all in the back), Kiwi H4 doesn’t fit the interface I want, KKCOBVR pro has those knobs at the temples that I hear they don’t stay put, and the Anapro doesn’t have a top strap. My current Quest 2 setup with a VR Power brick + iovroigo strap is great for TOTF. Light headset with all the counterweight in the back
@ hey wanted to follow up, I bought the Annapro A3 and was surprised to see it had a braided cable that seemed super strong. Not sure if the others have the same. It’s still a little too wide for my head though so lots of wobble unfortunately
the dedicated meta quest 3 elite battery strap, I found to be the most comfortable. (and I trust meta warranty more). shame almost no one reviews it. also I like how the quest 3 elite battery strap perfectly fits the meta quest 3 elite carry case, which I find to be the smallest option
Glad you found a good product and combo with the elite carry case! I'll keep it in mind for the next video and see if I can get my hands on them to test :)
@@thevrcoach I’ll admit its also because I remember the Samsung galaxy note 7. And I trust meta to have done there research, on how to make a battery not go boom on my head, more than I trust most cheaper alternatives research/liability (although there have been zero cases of 3rd party headstraps exploding, so likely a non issue). But again I ALSO do like how neatly the official option all fits together (as already mentioned). I understand it is on the pricier side compared to the alternatives though
All the straps work on both the Quest 3 and Quest 3S! You just have to be careful with the facial interfaces and lens inserts as those differ. The Maecker battery strap is 36.79 USD if you used THEVRCOACH discount code.
I tested it in all in one sports (archery mode), dungeons of eternity, and in death unchained. But they get very tiring very fast if you are constantly using the bow. Which is why I think skyrim vr works really well because there's a lot of walking, dialog and time to rest haha. If you end up playing skyrim make sure to go to the settings and turn on realistic bow mode, otherwise it doesnt line up properly. Dungeons of eternity felt pretty cool too, if you need to give you shoulder a rest, you can still use a one-handed sword with your right hand while holding the bow in your left. BTW I saw ferrari in your dp, I was hoping for them to get a better quali result and taken on McLaren tonight
@thevrcoach I tested it last night in Elven Assassin I couldn't figured it out. I tried it in Death Unchained and yeah it worked really well. But with Elven Assassin I don't know how it works. I will try it with all in one sports and in Dungeons of Eternity. With Skyrim is only PCVR, and I need to change my graphics card. Yeah I have that wheel for my racing sim. I still think Ferrari is going to take the constructors race. Thanks for your help! If you try it in Elven Assassin and figure it out, let me know.
Does the quest 3 have Vibrations that react to shooter games and games in general the reason I ask is I coming from ps4 and when I play a shooter game like call 4 duty the controller has vibration that reacts to explosions and subtle gunfire it varies according to game to game and if I was in VR I want some kind of Physical sensation to keep me in the game using vibrations
Yes, there's haptic feedback and vibration in the controllers by default in most shooting games . I actually have a VR gun stock in the way to me which I will be reviewing, it's call the enforcer by deadeye. It's way more intense, but it sounds like it would be up your alley
I just ordered the BoboVR S3 Pro headstrap.my first headset was a PSVR1 and it was extremely comfortable.I’m hoping the S3 Pro will at least be close to as comfortable.it also has the swappable batteries and the built in fan.I’m hoping the fan will help with lens fogging..great video though man,it was very helpful
A solid pick! I think if I was a halo strap guy, the BoboVR S3 would be right up there as a first choice. From everything I've seen online, I'm sure you're going to enjoy it! Thanks for the comment and happy it helped!
@tasosm7x they really aren't though And if they really were they wouldn't be selling like hotcakes. Now if you're wearing any headset loosely on your head of course it's going to be wobbly.
@eliapavoni2275 same so making a claim like that without even using the products is very ignorant and misleading to the people who are watching this video.
Why not do a review of the Sonicgrace S3 Duo head strap? I have it, and I like the interchangeable battery pack and fast charging; it feels pretty good!
I just discovered your channel and subscribed immediately if possible I would like what you bought to make your resistance strap to prevent me from injuring my shoulder a second time thank you
I got you! VR cardio is a game changer, I mostly play boxing, rhythm, sword fighting, and some dedicated fitness games. ruclips.net/video/LnN2SFYbkNM/видео.htmlsi=bmb7sDbRk5F8wqh6

VR wave and VR rock are the way to go for lenses. zenni is overpriced
Great video as always. Love your channel.
Thanks so much!

Good points! I haven't had one fail on me, luckily, but I see where you are coming from.

your channel is amazing
Cheers mate!
Great content!, how do you record that footage at min 9:00?,
Thanks! That's a tool called LIV - you need PCVR and a bit of Greenscreen tech, I have a guide on it here - ruclips.net/video/KQk4iP-a5sc/видео.html

Does the 3d printed one work if I want to wear glasses sometimes but not all the time
There's an option when you're filling out the app if you wear glasses or not, and they can accommodate more space for you
Any recommendation for a Budget Battery strap for the 3s?

In what games did you try the Shadow Shot? I just got mine and I would like to know in which games is going to work well. Thanks

Well maybe you should invest in Bobo VR head straps because they don't slide around on your head
They are wably as f though
