this ride looked really cool back in the day. while i think RMC would certainly be able to make something incredible with this layout, if they just give it some fresh track and make it not trim on the MCBR i think this could be a truly spectacular wooden coaster.
im coming here this summer! im going to ride all the rides!!! last year I didn't have enough time :/ I only rode the boss, ninja, sm tower of power, boss, batman, screamin eagle, all of hurricane harbor, and screamin eagle. this year im going to try my hardest to conquer all of your rides!!! YOUR AWESOME SIX FLAGS ST LOUIS!!!
I love this ride so much. I plan to try to ride it 500 times this year. Please keep it wooden forever. Best wooden Night Ride in the country by far. This coaster is better then El Toro
I'm obsessed with this coaster. Please never rmc it. I would love if you kept it as is but if it would get everyone to shut about rmc then I would be happy if this ride could get the GhostRider treatment. It would keep the wooden feel and still be an awesome ride. It'd also be awesome if gci or Gravity Group could rebuild the helix with precut track!
Restore this to its glory or RMC it. It’s a shame the way they run it now, last time I was there, they were running two trains but only loading one. When I asked why, they said something about how they needed to keep the wheels warm for use later in the day, and that they couldn’t take it off for fear the train would cool and valley later in the day. The mcbr takes all the speed out of the second half and no helix to wrap it up is a bummer. Too bad it’s a shell of what it was in this POV.
The Boss has a very fun layout, with awesome lateral forces (Throwing you to the side) and airtime (Launching your bum off the seat). It also feels like a very powerful ride, for a classic style wooden coaster it's very tall, fast, and intense. However, it is rather rough, and I prefer the other two wooden coasters - Screamin' Eagle and American Thunder - over this one. Definitely ride it if you have the chance, there's the possibility of them retracking it with steel in the next couple years.
My wife and I call this ride “The Migraine.” RMC could make this thing amazing and it would boost park attendance… but instead they put in a kiddie coaster. Lol
Definitely miss the helix! Needs to come back.

It's time to start pushing the Boss>El Toro narrative. This coaster is so good
I wish so much that yoh will never rmc this ride. Its so good and needs to stay wooden forever. never given into the rmc fan boys!
RIDE AT UR OWN RISK
There is a different part on the boss now. They removed the 520 degrees helix
I think this might be better than Mr. Freeze (along with the Screamin' Eagle).

It goes 70 mph
RMC conversion on the Boss would be the greatest thing ever. It would be one of the top coasters on the planet. Please, please, please do this!
no
@@oof3397 still yes
Is that with the pct trains or the gesrtlaur trains
It's CCI trains custom coasters international
They are gerstlaur trains. Other reply is wrong
Dannyschu13 Ah ok I was just wondering because at one point when the Boss first opened it had PCT trains...
what year was this video made not the 2014 I mean 1999 2000 2001 or 2002
None of them... it was 2006
Actually no, it had to be from 2000-2005. Tower of Power was added in 2006, and it's not next to Screamin' Eagle as the tallest ride in the park
I would say 2000. Look at all that fresh, pushed around dirt. And also there are pieces of machinery all around.
Illinois Coasters Big fan Illinois I've watched
You for a while funny I found you here
slender321425 it looks brand new compared to 2018
Jus rmc it alr
RMC BOSS PLEASE!!!
Is this ride bad, a lot of people who rode this ride said it was the best ride in the park or very rough...

Rough, but if you are fine with that it’s the best ride in the park.
RMC THIS RIDE PLEASE
I think it deserves the Gravity Group treatment, THOU SHALL NOT STEEL!!!😠
I went on the bos before it was so scary
nyla Johnson what's the bos I only know The Boss
I hold the awnser to life's questions you can't stand a joke
