You are right about the small class sizes. My son went to a private school, the most he ever had in his class was around 7 or 8 kids. Your girls are beautiful.
YOU ARE GOALS!!! You are so inspiring and helpful!!! As a hands on mom, who homeschools, it’s easy to feel like a hermit in society! It’s a breathe of fresh air to see other moms with my same passion. Thank you for sharing all of the resources that you do, and sharing your journey! ❤️🫶😇
Omg yesss!! I homeschool my boys as well... I mean its an online public school but it's still school done from home and at times we feel a little confined 😔. I am really enjoying her videos and learning so much more about homeschooling and it's awesome knowing we aren't alone in this.❤
@@meghanwhite3710 I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t even disclose that I homeschool to ANYONE unless it’s a professional asking (such as a doctor). I grew weary of explaining myself, driving home my bullet points, statistics, case studies, dispelling negative & all FALSE preconceptions, the list goes on and on! 🥹 It’s so great to discover a portal of dedicated moms who just GET IT, and killing it! 🥰 It’s heartwarming! ☺️
This is so CUTE! I love the interaction here! I really wish that my 5 homeschooled kids could partake in something like this. There is nothing to do around us, and we don't have a lot of money, so things get boring here in GA. Keep it up!
I love this partnership in your Community. I had a very hard time with my Community School system when I chose to homeschool when my child was in K-12, they challenged parents in everything because they didn't bother to learn Educational laws in our State regarding Rights to homeschool. I wish more Communities offered this form of dual programming you have introduced in this video. Thank you for sharing this video❤️
I had this idea. I’m glad to see it implemented. My son was homeschooled for kindergarten. I found that the local arboretum had mommy groups that worked like pods. Their children took classes, completed projects and field trips throughout the year. They did something similar during pandemic. It’s cool seeing my thoughts become someone else’s reality/solution.
Lolol, boy I’ll tell ya, if you’re not constantly making fun times with children they will SERIOUSLY MAKE IT SEEM LIKE YOU NEVER DID ANYTHING WITH THEM! They’re hilarious! When I came back to MD from hanging out in ohio for a MONTH my kid said: WORST-DAY-EVER! LOLOL
I homeschooled all 4 of mine. I took them to “homeschool schools and they loved it. They learned to play violin and were in orchestra which led to district and state orchestra participation, plays, worship dance, chorus. It was a very good experience!
Now that is a great school indeed only 6 kids inside the classroom for certain academic subjects lovely Princesses love their new home and school God bless always guys
My hats off to you. We moved nine months ago and I am still organizing. For some reason, I did not do our Homeschool room FIRST, which wasn't the best idea. I like your content!
There are actually quite a bit of options out there (in most areas) for homeschoolers now and it's growing every day. There's many different types of Co-op structures from family inclusive to formal drop off, and there are homeschool pods, micro schools, hybrid schools, cottage schools, ect. Our 2nd year of homeschooling my oldest two children went to a micro school 4 days a week for 5 hours a day. It was a great option for them and for me b/c I had a baby right before school started that year. The year after that we decided to go a different direction though and we enrolled our two girls in a classical academy 2 days a week. Some people call it a hybrid school and some a cottage school. We wanted more time with them at home but also wanted something more academically focused then our previous program and it was a great fit and it allowed me to have a few days a week if one on one time with my special needs son. We liked the program so much, That this year we enrolled our son in the program too and I took a job there teaching a little preschool or MDO class so my youngest child gets to go too now. It's been the best option for us. Keeps us accountable, gives us a support system and a local community and helps my kids have more time with their peers. It's not always easy on us financially but it's well worth it. We get more time, still can homeschool but way cheaper than private school. (We pay the exact same amount for 3 kids at our cottage school as we did for 1 kid at a full time private school before we started homeschooling)
@@athomewiththedavises3457 wow! Thats amazing. Thank you do much for all this information. We originally started homeschooling because our kids have so many food allergies and things kept happening at school. I would love to find a place where they can be around other kids for a short period of time while learning. I'm really going to look into this. Thank you so much
Same, my two oldest are in a public high school and when rainbow flags are posted in the school but no other flags representing other countries are being displayed is concerning
That school looks awesome and so ideal!! Would you happen to know if they themselves provide or if you have heard of other similar styled schools that are able to deal with non verbal children?
Do you have a Salvation Army Kroc center where you live? I know they take enrollment for homeschoolers and do a lot of fun learning activities there. The kids really seem to love it. You can also try googling “home school enrichment programs” for your area and see what comes up
Wow, I’m in MD too near Howard county. My body sculpting office is in Howard county. So we’re pretty close. Do you teach children in the area? I have. Five year old I’m trying to work with bc these schoooolllllssssssssssssss
This class has a discount at the moment I think $80/child/month. I’m not sure what it will be once she gets more students to. But there are more affordable homeschool co-ops - but you may have to do some volunteering.

the number one concern that parents have for their children is safety

Very interesting.
Thanks Akeeba.
I’d be okay with a hybrid home and then a class with other kids thing. Especially if it’s an art or steam thing
Yes actually i would love this!!!
Wow! Thanks for this information. I’ve been homeschooling in MD for 4 years and never heard of this.
Wow! How did you find a coop with AA teachers and kids?! I was homeschooled and never saw others that looked like me
we're out here in droves now!

Hi! I love your channel! I live in Baltimore. How can I find a school like this in my area? 🙂

What's the cost for this option? Or how would you support?

I think homeschooling okay but public schools in private christian school better than homeschooling become they don't social with other kids their age
