WW3 and DF have same game engine. I don't think to repair some issues later. Most important problem is vehicle sound at battlefield. Is the same problem in DF ? U don't hear sound of vehicle behind you ?
WW3 is still the only modern battlefield-ish type game that came out in the recent years that doesn't have abilities so even though it is outclassed by a lot of games in certain departments it still has a chance to gain a playerbase (copium). We will see how the new team working on WW3 handles all of the feedback the devs got over these last few years.

WW3 was one of the best modern FPS games, it was fun, simple, had great sound and mechanics, shame the dev messed up their opportunity to make it big. Hawk Ops would be amazing if they got rid of the operators and have classes instead..they just need to stop copying BF in everything and just become more creative including their maps.

Df is comming to mobile, console and even Mac. If ww3 was doing like a massive comeback that could easily be ported to console. It already has controller support

I loved ww3 because of amount of content.. this is the only game aside from squad where you can drive chinese, japanese, turkish tanks
the customization of your soldier from uniform to their language was very unique too.
