I should send this video to the person who hemmed my jeans. She measured, flipped at the bottom of the pants and sewed a new hem - no cutting required

Do you ask your clients to prewash their clothes due to shrinking?

    Good video!
I hem my jeans with a red colored thread, so that it is obvious that I have hemmed them --- if anyone is paying attention. So far, no one has ever mentioned the red thread.

That’s why there is a separate video for original hems, this is just the cheap and easy way.

I am a fan but what the hell?! … Who does that to jeans?! Honey, I haven’t seen that since the 80s. You have dramatic license… use it!. Go 2” , save the original hem, reattach , watch the magic! C’mon now.

This way to hem jeans looks like they’ve been hemmed. Keeping the original her is literally the only way to do this properly. This looks awful and definitely shows that you’ve done something wrong to them. Nope 👎🏻

How do they look "awful?" She literally reworked the hem in the same fashion they were originally made... I think they may have looked less hemmed if she matched the stitch length (I did notice the length of her stitches were tighter than that of the original), but I don't see the issue with the process if the original hem was rolled over...@@NYandAZ
