We always arrive the day before in case of delays and it also gives us a day to recover from the long flight. From what you showed us, the ship looks quite pretty. Looking forward to the next segment.
We did because we wanted to have an extra day at the end in Melbourne and had been to Singapore lots of times. But will definitely consider that next time!

Great video, I have to say the cabin does look dull with just shades of grey. We were much luckier than you with our stop at Singapore as we had great weather for the 2 days that we were there. The gardens by the bay were superb, the cloud forest dome was suitably damp. On the 2nd day we did the long bar at Raffles for a couple of expensive but excellent Singapore Slings.
Definitely needs some splashes of colour! Thankfully we have visited Singapore as would of been gutted with this weather. We had a Singapore Sling at Raffles too!

I just got off of the Azamara Pursuit. I loved my cruise & thought the ship was nice. Had no guest relations issues though. I’m now booked for next year on the Onward.
I watched your video & was shocked at your captain’s response to the horrible weather! I wonder if his attitude was rubbing off on the other senior level staff like Guest Relations? Because Captain Michael on the Pursuit was frequently spotted along Deck 5, talking to passengers, & also filming a daily briefing on the weather conditions. He & the Navigator spent countless hours plotting our course through the Drake Passage, & he avoided bad storms. I’m sorry your captain didn’t seem to care enough about his passengers to avoid that hurricane. @@PaulandCaroleLovetoTravel
How did you manage laundry on a 25 day cruise? Are there self-service laundry facilities on board or do you have to send your laundry off to the service?
You guys inspired me to take a Cunard cruise and I just got back from four days on Queen Victoria which I really liked. Not sure Azamara will be high on the list for me lol. Thanks for your videos.
Hello lovelies. We absolutely enjoy all your videos. I do have. Question for you both. Would you recommend the QM2 for a World Cruise? We’ve sailed a lot with Crystal, HAL and Celebrity but are looking for our Bucket List trip. We are 65 and 71 and would appreciate any input you can share with us. Tx in advance and keep up the great content.
Thank you! QM2 is a fabulous ship, however we would definitely recommend trying a shorter cruise on a ship you were considering a world cruise on, so you can make sure it is the right ship for you!
You can walk from the gardens to the Marina Bay Sands hotel and shopping area. Then there’s close by underground walkways that will take you to raffles shopping centre.great place
If you are looking for glitz and a fancy ship these lines are not the right ones, better off with MSC haha. The lux is in the number of people, food, service (ratio staff to passenger is high) and lack of upselling :) But absolutely love your attitude and humour - Im so subscribing!
Oh my goodness - the COVID test anxiety would've annoyed me so much! I had to take a test for Alaska back in July (despite no requirement to enter the US), so I can only imagine how you felt having to do it before such a long haul journey!
Re the requirement from Azamara to have the Covid test before embarkation, while it wasn't asked for at check-in in Singapore, I think it would still have given you the security of knowing if you did come down with the virus, would have been eligible for compensation from Azamara for the days in isolation, unless that has been changed recently.
@@PaulandCaroleLovetoTravel The best cover we can get from Australian travel insurance only offers maximum $5000AU cover per policy total....not enough to cover if one came down with the virus early in a cruise, like the 23 day one we are booked on in May.
