Jeez insane numbers when I renewed my lease on dec 31st I was able to lock an deal for almost under $100 less than what you quoted at only 1k down. Crazy how a month or 2 or even inventory level can do to the market.

The brainwash job from your days at the BMW dealership *REALLY* take a long time to remedy, Ari.
I think the exterior of modern Audi's look good, but the interior is severely lacking in terms of a pleasing experience, other than everything is..."simple"? Perhaps "simplified" is a better term, but I argue nearing draconian in as far as being comfortable is concerned. I say it gets the job done, but isn't as great as the Benz or Volvo (with their ventilated nappa seats).
Also, I just don't think most of these luxury German brands are really worth their asking price + interest/rent charge. If they decrease about 10% then I think that's what the actual value of these vehicles are. I also agree with you to never finance a new luxury car, the depreciation alone is not worth paying for unless it's a specialty vehicle (M3's, RS trims, etc...).
One last thing, I think the final year of a petrol powered A4 will probably hold it's market value greater than you may think. If they go all electric in 2025 for A4 then I think a lot of people will want the final year of an A4 petrol since it will be "late model" for about 4 years, *possibly* stretching out for 5 years, depending upon the technology they pack into the EV models compared to the last year of the petrol. People love A4's, and I know for convenience the petrol version would be much preferred, and appeal to a greater market audience.

A4 45 premium plus. 6% off msrp, 2k Audi rebate and 1.5k Costco rebate. Deals and rebates are there. And inventory is too in NJ and NY. Not many people want the A4 since the A5 is more popular now. So supply seems to be keeping up with demand.
