A great Dot for a Great Gun
I have the same set up and love it! Only thing I am waiting on is my lake line ported barrel, which will help even more with recoil. The Taurus GX4 carry Toro is not a micro compact. It is just a compact! I have shot many Glocks and other pistols, Taurus GX4 Carry definitely beats them all

Will it work on a Glock?
Yes the gun will still shoot even if you rest it on top of a Glock
