- Just a fast project I did by myself. Just because i dont have 3D printer or any pro shit device I used just a simple knife :) enjoy. Before comments about melting - YES IT WOULD MELT at real gun BUT its na ASG silencer ;)
"It doesn't have to be perfect" - literally the most precise cutting I've ever seen.
Mate you are a genius, I love your idea, would love to see the next step ie fitting and testing, this is the foundation of a very efficient air gun moderator!
FOAM cutting skills OVER 9000!!!
If I ever need surgery I'm gonna call on this guy
Great video. I love the simplicity and how it would just have to work extremely well. Doing myself has great appeal to me. Thank you.
My hats off to you as you just go at carving those baffle chambers freehanded and willy-nilly. Good eyes and hands denote an artisan. Much respect.
Amazing tutorial thank you
Respect. That is a nice way of making foam cone shapes.
I’m impressed by your work. Ive researched quite a lot about suppressors for airsoft on gas. When I see people doing the normal “roll of foam” I know that doesn’t do much. Your video was intriguing. I’ve got a beautifully crafted Gemtech trinity replica. It comes with foam baffle rings. I’ve been thinking about it and the foam baffles have no gaps between them when packed in. So whilst they give a resonant suppression (softer walls for the sound waves to reflect off as opposed to the aluminium interior sides of the silencer) there is no where for the gas to expand into. Foam is quite dense for a fast gas to hit and it will take the path of least resistance and follows the protectile out the exit hole, which is quite large. It has to be to avoid risk of a strike. It’s the gas rapidly expanding out of the exit hole of a mock suppressor or barrel into atmospheric pressure that creates the crack or loud pop. A bit like popping a balloon. What you need is like you’ve done, a method of expansion within the suppressor. I’ve been considering removing half the baffles and allowing space between each one. But having seen your video I though “now that’s a baffle”. I might experiment with some builders foam myself if I can find the right diametre.
I saw your video and I did the same thing. But the noises remained the same.
nice idea men
Clean project, Thanks for share!
Hey man, great cutting work! I think it depends on the right foam and a good, precise knife. Have you done any testing? You should really do a video from the perspective of the target. This way you could demonstrate with and without the suppressor. I'd be so curious how big the effect is!
Quite an artist
I made one myself but different. They work good if you are using an air system instead of a gear box.
that's an art!
Tienes manos y dedos de cirujano, perfecto
This gives me a great idea. Personally, im going to make this out of the same foam. Then long story short melt some aluminum and cast an aluminum copy of this. For airsoft of course😁. Great video 👍
The haters in these comments are hilarious, no idea what they're talking about. Half of them think this will melt, the other half don't understand how baffles work. Great mod, nicely done!
