I ate them but changed two things, instead of using syrup i put 2 drops of maple extract and used almond milk cause that’s what I had on hand. They taste like heaven but to me they calorie to volume ratio is really bad, was hungry again in two hours, When I do a kodiak waffle and a lot of egg whites it keeps me goin until noon for the same amount of calories
I'm currently on my journey to lose weight and am taking notes of videos like this and others to get an idea of what I could do. However, the only restrictions I have are cost, I'm very poor, and the utilities I have (no fridge or our own and one skillet/pan thing to cook with) I think these are all great and still helpful for people even in my position but if you ever see this I think it would be cool if you could do a modified version of things for people living off the "college student diet"
I have been keto and first carnivore . I stopped losing now I’m trying a 1200 calorie daily diet. I want to see how this works. I’m not used to eating this high in carbs but I’m going to try it. I have 30 lbs to lose .
I tired carnivore too and gained 40 lbs, i got tired of that and felt really bad, i switched back to high carbs and high protein and im down 32 lbs so far. Oats are my best food friend, def give it a try
I mean u dont really need a bowl for that, just use ur shaker that u probably have if u have protein powder im sure u have a shaker too, shake that thing with milk and there u go, add it to the jar as u done the rest, and yes i skip the sweetener, and use not greek but a simple 0% joghurt which is almost the same with the macros with less price and i use a bunch of wild berries just for the tastes and healthy benefits.
I'd argue it takes less time to do a few scrapes down the side of the jar for the protein powder than it does to use the separate bowl approach to mix it up with the milk separately - but it's not a big time saver either way. I was just surprised that was the reason for your separate bowl you noted during the intro. Otherwise, I just wanted to agree 1000% about buying a scale.
Overnight Oats is definitely a cold meal, if you want it warm I would just go with regular oatmeal. And I'm not sure if flaxseed would work the same. The chia seeds absorb some of the milk to create the pudding like consistency but if you try flax seeds let me know if they work!
Bro really thinks it makes a difference changingthe scale to ml, Lol. The scale is only considering 1ml = 1g of water. It does not measure volume. As if the density would be that different anyways.
Not gonna lie bro I’m probably gonna make these tomorrow! Instead of a bowl I might just use a shaker for the protein and fairlife though 🤔. Might be quicker
Now that's using your brain my man, I'll definitely be using a shaker next time I make this! Let me know if you like it Vin I'm always open to feedback
Using the scale 'backwards' is about the smartest damn thing I've ever seen!
this guy's videos are actually crazy good. I don't know why more people don't watch
Haven't thought about mixing up the protein first, gonna try that tomorrow! Luckily have some spare oreos lying around too. Thanks!
A shaker bottle is a good idea too, a subscriber of mine gave me that idea. Hope you enjoy and thanks for the comment!
Love this! Great video for my overnight oats repertoire; great ideas that I have not encountered yet. Thank you!
Since you have Greek yogurt in there you can just use water milk to lower the calorie count
What is 'water milk?' Did you mean just water? I'm hoping so....

Thank you for the video recipe! I am following yours tonight! :D

Using a food scale is the most accurate way to measure food. Sense is sense. How hard is that?
I'm definitely i dont have a scale but it's still just because is healthy
I think you could also just mix your protein powder up in your shaker and you’ll be fine.
Incredible channel. I wish you came back !
men you make the best tutorials thanks 💪
Just made these they’re delicious ! :)
Thanks for this great recipe!!

I hate to break it to you, but that mL measurement is probably just grams…. mL is a volumetric measurement, not weight
And you are correct, milk weighs more than water, but typically scales with a ml measurement is just doing grams (since 1g of water = 1ml of water)
Can one use Organic Coconut Milk instead of milk/ Thank you.
Has your recipe changed at all over the last two years?

what size mason jars do you use? thank you!
3:45 interesting
Do you eat them cold? Have you ever tried to warm them up? Would flaxseeds work just as good?

Seems like it would be easier to
Mix the milk and protein in a shaker cup..
Use sprouted grains!!!
This looks too delicious!! Does this work with skimmed lactose-free milk? Or would a plant based milk be better?
Yes it would work with your milk , just the macros would be different in calories if you calculate it.
Great video
How many ounces are those jars?
Thank you! ❤
Can i substitute milk to water? I have lactose on milk.
Pls respond...I realize it won't be as creamy...however, would it still be edible?
Yes you can. It won't taste the same, but it will still be pretty edible. Don't be afraid to play around with the recipe to find what works for you.
@@Rese_AA Thank you.
For how long you can have this in the fridge?
Over night , make it in the afternoon or night doesn’t matter put it in the fridge then eat it the next morning when ever you feel like it.
can i replace the milk with premier protein shakes?
Wouldn't really recommend unless you count in all the macros, fats, sugar, and protein that are all in those shakes,
I buy 100% carnivore protein powder. I hope that works.
Great!
Size of mason jar?
Looks like 16oz
“Sugar free maple syrup”. So what is it made out of.
Shit
@@Thomas-ts7xt accurate

Is protein powder a necessity?
No this exact recipe has been listed by another channel without the protien powder

Could I do this for 7day prep or will it go bad by that time
that protein powder shouldnt be in the fridge more than 2 days right?
Did not see the point in weighing. Your recipe is more than 395 calories just using the package serving amounts. I used half the chia.
This guy's attitude just screams "punch me in the face"
🤣 ...That was hysterical...!
